How to Choose a Camp For Kids
11K posts
Choosing the right camp for your child can be a challenging and sometimes overwhelming task. Since there's a seemingly endless variety of choices to consider, matching the ideal camp to your child's interests, personality, and busy schedule can be daunting. Furthermore, as a parent, you have the responsibility of ensuring the camp you choose for your child is operated in a safe and appropriate manner for your child's age and skill levels. Find out more about sushi here. Identify the camp's program emphasis. Every camp has a different philosophy and program emphasis. Some camps promote structured group activities, while others give campers more individualized freedom to pick and choose the individual activities that appeal to them. Some camps offer strictly traditional activities, like horseback riding and archery, while others may focus exclusively on sports, drama, or surfing. Or, maybe your child would flourish in a competitive camp environment whereas another child would be better off participating in non-competitive camp activities. By knowing your child's personality, interests, personality traits, and learning style, you can better identify the right camp for you.

What are some fun items to bring on a psychedelic camping trip with friends?
Hey guys
Driving across Australia with my mates soon, we are going to camp out, do lots of hiking, maybe take some psychedelics too.
I'm trying to prepare some fun stuff to bring, as we will be on the road for over a week.
Currently I have:
Binoculars
Frisbee
Axe (for throwing at trees)
Ukulele
Playing cards
Walkie talkies
Any other ideas?

Nemo Chorogi 3 vs Mountain hardware Aci 3?
I'm starting a new job that will have me camping across Minnesota during the winter, no matter the weather. I'm looking for a winter tent that can keep me protected from the worst weather imaginable (we've had it be -40 before the 50mph gusts of winds out here.) I narrowed it down to two tents: the chogori and the aci. I'm looking for a general comparison of the two, and which is worth my money more.

Freezing Your Eggs
I'm going camping this weekend and was thinking of bacon and eggs for breakfast. Problem is, it'll be getting down to 10 degrees Fahrenheit. So, redditers of r/camping, what do I do? Is there a good way to insulate them, are they okay to freeze, or is it just not worth it? Let me know your thoughts!

WV camping help
Hello, I'll try to keep this brief, a few friends and I want to go on a camping trip where we can practice basic survival skills and go "off grid" a little bit. I don't intend on cutting half a forest down. But we want to fish for food, cut a few trees down to build a smoker and in general be away from well cut lawns with electrical plug ins. Can anyone fill me in on the terminology needed to search for a camp site with these conditions or can help locate a good camp site for this?
