Sims 3 Normalmap Action

I made this Photoshop action a while ago for myself because I got so tired of always doing the same routine over and over again when doing normalmaps for my Sims 3 CC clothing projects.

Now I have decided to share it with you!

What it does:

This action is mainly useful for Sims 3 clothing creators. Basically, it creates a normalmap/bump map with one click! It takes your multiplier, enhances the contrast, applies the NormalMapFilter and then copies and pastes the channels in the right order.

Cool, huh?

A .txt file with detailed instructions is included in the download.

You have to have the Nvidia Texture tools installed for this action to work properly!

I made this action with Photoshop CS6, but I’m pretty sure it works with older versions as well.

Massive Effect

Do not come for me when you try to use the refrigerator and it spins around. Don’t. I warned you. lol.

This is 175 pieces of stuff grabbed from mass effect 3 so I could set up story scenes. Some pieces I got bold with and tried to do rigging with and they are. bad. Take the meshes for your set pieces or fix them up, I don’t care, just be aware that I never intended these for gameplay.

Cottage Living - Henford Default Replacements

Henford, the awesome countryside world, perfect for medieval sims. Well, if it was not for the annoying NPC:s, running around in the totally wrong clothing. Here is the solution:

Agatha, the Crumplebottom girl who settled down after an adventurous past. Her cousin Agnes, who took the veil. Agnes is the moral backbone of Henford.

In the zip also a default replacement for the Crumplebottom's Flower Shop Stall.

All the other NPC:s also got appropriate clothing. This default replacement set works without hiders - take out hiders of these outfits, if you have them.

And there is a Default Replacement for the Grocery Store stall.

Then on Saturdays is the famous Finwick Fair. If you are not careful, the participants will show up in UGLY MODERN ATTIRE. When the right way is to get your Rooster Outfit, in the right Henford colors.

This part of the set do need hiders, and I added a zip with hiders for the Cottage Living clothing, (the NPC:s above in the post excluded.) Unzip and place in your Mods folder, preferably in an Overrides-folder - read more here.
