Just a reminder you don't need to "earn" your pronouns.
You dont have to be on HRT.
You don’t have to change your name.
You don’t have to feel like you “have it all figured out.”
You dont have to look or dress a certain way.
You aren’t too young. (Nor too old.)
You have a right to be respected and have the pronouns that suit you used.
You are deserving of love, respect, and validation.

@People who used to think they were nonbinary but later realized they were actually cis or binary trans
I’m so proud of you. You’re brave enough to be yourself. I promise that no one in the nonbinary community harbors any ill will towards you. (And if they do you can just send them my way). You are NOT perpetuating the sterotype that being nonbinary is a phase. You were questioning, and that’s okay. We as a community need to be more accepting of questioning people. We need to be more accepting of binary people who use neutral pronouns. We need to be more accepting of GNC people. They need to understand that it’s okay to question their identity, and not feel pressured to stick to using a label that they realized is not accurate out of fear of being called a trender. You were not a trender. You were not making us look bad. You were questioning, and that’s OKAY.

2 years 2.5 months on T
Hey this is my face! I’ve been growing out my hair for over a year now, and I’m thinking I won’t cut it again until after I get top surgery.
Also, my birthday is in three days; I’ll be turning 25 and I have such great plans for this month to celebrate.

happy trans day of visibility y'all!! I love being trans and visible. I’ve been known I was trans for the past 5 years now and every year I’m more and more thankful. Transitioning and learning to love my body has been the most healing process and being a part of my local (and online) trans community has blessed me with the opportunity to meet and befriend the most people.
I love y'all♥️♥️♥️

hey so uhhh another trans post bc i’m trans:
socially transitioning is just as big and scary as medically transitioning, and it’s okay to feel intimidated. it’s okay to say you’ll come out and then back away at the last second; it’s okay to panic and give people the wrong name; it’s okay to take a minute to respond to your new name; it’s okay to be terrified because it’s a scary experience.

SOS! Summer is coming and I’m so uncomfortable and sweaty in my tight ass binder!
I know! Fuck! Last summer I had to spend so much time during the hottest fucking times in a surgical binder basically 24h per day and it was awful. Even binding normally with a binder for a few hours is a pain in the ass (well, chest).
I honestly can’t remember right now how I coped with it. I’ve just blocked that experience from my memory for now I guess. But here’s some advice from other places online:
The 6 Best Tips for Binding in the Summer
Summer Passing & Fashion Tips Video
And it’s also worth maybe trying to wear a binder that’s a size bigger than the one you’ve got right now, or trying a different brand since their sizes do differ a bit depending on where you buy them from. That way you might be able to find one that isn’t quite as hellishly tight but still does a good job flattening you.

Donate to make a Bionic Penis for Trans Men a reality
A small trans owned business called Transthetics works on making hyper realistic fake penises for FTM people. Recently the owner, Alex, has announced he’s working on making a bionic penis. This would help so many trans kids as it’d be cheaper and safer than bottom surgery, and help alleviate dysphoria. In some cases (like for me), a trans person may actually prefer it. It would have four functions all in one: -pee -pack -play -pleasure The concept is to have it function as a DMAB penis would, and it’d look and feel as human as possible. There’s more information if you click the link below. BUT HE NEEDS YOUR HELP THROUGH DONATIONS. You can donate here using my donation link (it’d help me win one of his already released products, which i’d really appreciate!) The first step (out of three major steps that will need donations) is “where materials and mechanical options are explored, evaluated and tested.” As of May 14th, he’s at 2,000 out of the 50,000 goal. I can’t stress enough how much this could help trans boys (or people with dysphoria that involves not having a penis), and how desperately I, and others, want to see this dream become a reality. If you can donate - whether you’re trans or cis - I beg you to do so. A dollar, 5, 10, anything. Please also boost this post and help it reach as many people as possible!

There are only 2 genders, deal with it

The Norwegian language has three genders: masculine (en gutt/a boy), feminine (ei jente/a girl) and neuter (et hus/ a house). A language like Shona has has 20 noun classes, while Swahili has 18.
English is an impoverished language in this respect, so please do not force your dull gender system on the rest of us!
Oh… wait a minute… You were not talking about grammar, were you? Ah, I see… You are one of those people who cannot stomach that the world is a it more complex than your limited imagination can grasp.
Gender morphs
Well, here’s the thing: In nature quite a few animals have several gender morphs as they call it. This simply means that there maybe different types of males and females.
Not far away from where I live there is a type of flycatcher that has three morphs: Females, males that look like females and males that do not look like females. The side-blotched lizard (Uta stansburiana) from the American Southwest has three male types and two female.
Clown fish (you know, like Nemo) are all born gender neutral or “malish”. One transforms into the beta male, when needed, and he again is transformed into the female alpha, when she dies.
Beyond the binary
You will probably yell at me: “BUT THEY ARE STILL MALE AND FEMALE!”
By all means, hold on to that, if that makes you sleep better at night.
But the fact remains that although you may define biological sexes in a binary manner, nature does not care. Even in humans you find an extreme variation as regards how gender characteristics are expressed biologically and psychologically.
Intersex
Biologically this applies to intersex conditions. There are women who are women and look like women, but who have XY chromosomes. There are intersex people with ambiguous genitalia and so and so forth.
You clearly do not have the knowledge needed to tell them what gender they really have.
Gender variation
Then there is, as you must know (unless you have been hiding under a rock for the last 100 years) a lot of variation as regards interests, abilities and personality traits, none of which are limited to one biological sex only, not even among humans.
This is why we use sex to refer to the biological status and gender to discuss the cultural understanding of what it means to be a man or a woman or nonbinary.
Throughout history and across cultures there has been – and is – an insane variety as regards what is considered proper male and proper female behavior. Heck, women didn’t even have the vote in most countries before the early 20th centuries. They were not considered capable of complex thought. Boy, where the those male bigots wrong!
Transgender
Then there are transgender people, which is a separate category from intersex. Still, a lot of researchers argue that intersex people and transgender people have one thing in common, namely some genetic, epigenetic or hormonal variation that made them grow up different from those who do not experience a conflict between what society expects of them gender wise and who they really are.
Nearly all experts in this field now recognize that some people grow up with a sense of self that is different from the gender they were assigned at birth. This gender identity is strong and persistent. This gender identity exist. This gender identity is real.
Deal with it!
