“are you sure you wanna do this?” you looked at your boyfriend who sat pretty on a stool through the bathroom mirror with your welling concerned, soft eyes as you slowly massaged your fingers into his bed head.

rintarou smiled lazily, pretty dimples appearing on rosy cheeks. “princess, you’re acting like i’m about to commit a felony or something.” rintarou laughed through his nose, trying his best to quiet the cackle begging to be let out.

“i’m just making sure you don’t regret this ‘cause i know how you are with change.” you rolled your eyes and smiled, all previous hints of concern flooded away from you. if he truly wanted to go forward with dying his hair, then who were you to stop him?

“now the question is,” rintarou leaned back into your touch as he angled his neck in a way to peer up at you with lidded green eyes and a knowing smirk, “are you sure you know what you’re doing?” he questioned, tone raspy and low.

you leaned down, kissing his forehead, then the tip of his nose, and finally his welcoming lips, “all you gotta do is use the brush thing to apply the dye everywhere.” you commented, lightly patting his cheek as you rose to look into the mirror once more.

now it was nearly 5 in the morning. dark red hair dye staining your now gloveless hands, the once completely white sink, the marble countertop, your pjs, and somehow the toilet.
