Funny you should ask that! I actually was and AM working on fancy godtier art for them all, and that's STILL in the works, BUUUTTTT...

i did draw some very rough color references for myself for said fancy pics! i really took a long time mulling over their personalities with my buddy who plays dirk, they're like. insanely awesome at assigning godtiers and -- honestly, i feel a lot of previously assigned GTs for these guys tend to be a bit like. surface level? rather than looking super super deeply at ALL their traits and WHY they are the way they are. Hearts in the right place, but i just don't feel like enough of them tend to be considered when pondering this kinda stuff personally. And I get it, these guys ARE crazy complex!! but. there's a TON to be taken into account.

example, i often see something like void assigned to karamatsu, and while some parts of it DO fit him, it really just isn't his personality ... karamatsu my karamatsu i have many thoughts on but it's unique how he always holds out such hope and has such faith things CAN get better even if not for himself, so i always thought he'd be WAY more of a hope player anyways. plus all his knight imagery, yknow...

but that's only a little bit of the reasoning! i have more for all the others. I'll just give a quick run down and show the pic i had made.

Question, why do you like Billy Joe cobra so much? What drew you to him? You draw him very cute btw

Well!! Sorry I didn't answer this yesterday, I was chilling out. But!!! Honestly, I really like Billy Joe Cobra for a variety of reasons.

I first learned about him when I was about 14 years old and in the dude that's my ghost fanbase in 2013. It was a VERY small but very active fan base! Sidenote: Although looking back on my time in it, The environment and cultivated and exposed to me by pro/shi/ppers was disgusting for a kid to be around, especially when all the adults were the way they were...

I always really enjoyed all of the silliness and whimsy that he brought. I like the hidden depths that he has, the mystery behind his death, how did he get to such a famous status and why does he dehumanize himself so much? He treats himself more like a brand than he does a person, at least when he was alive. And then whenever he dies he actively prefers it to being alive. I just think that's a really fascinating idea! :O Even if it's like the worst thing in the world cuz he can't be seen by his fans and he hinges his whole self worth on that, he still has so much whimsy and he seems so much happier than he did in life.

Also I just think he serves cunt. I really like how often he changes his outfits and I especially really like how he isn't afraid to switch up his style. Not many shows even the cheaply produced ones tend to change their character's clothes or fits that often but it was like the biggest thing I really enjoyed about the show alongside just how crazystyle animated he is. You can really tell the animators had a serious blast with him compared to the rest of the show -- hell, he's the only one on model like all the time! And his design is just super cute all around; I'm impressed they made his mess of a color palette work so well.

Even if dude that's my ghost is just objectively not that great of a show, I really really enjoyed his character and I think they had a gold mine that they just fumbled so badly. But they really did do a great job establishing him as a character, I've been attached to him since 2014 and it shows no signs of stopping!! That's even why my main blog is his name, a canon url! (@billyjoecobra)
