Is there anywhere outside of the one line in the 2001 dub that directly suggests Jet has a bad relationship with his parents? genuinely curious if it's mainly a pseudocanon thing that's supported by a lot of circumstantial evidence or if it ever got directly expanded upon

Remorseful traitor is such a good character trope. I did something stupid/cowardly/selfish to survive and it haunts me. I can't ever fully trust anyone or understand those who do trust others because what if they only turn out as loyal as I was. How do I make the lives of those I turned my back on mean something now that I've gotten the second chance I never deserved? If history threatens to repeat itself, would I make the same choice again?

Odd thing to be worried about since I've seen firsthand what internet fame can do to a person a multitude of times and I'm not really interested in being popular, but I still get oddly envious when I see someone doing something cool even if it's so far out of my wheelhouse that it's not something I'd find enjoyment or success in myself

Thinking about it I think I'm just worried that even if it's niche I'll never make something that people outside of my immediate circle will know/remember
