really does not feel like 2 years since i made this ref

we used to play a lot of modded mc, particularly create, but the diving suit armor never fit percy correctly. So i made a toggle for wearing the diving suit specifically, and modeled part of it after the cilia on the legs of diving beetles :)

i hate that every time i look for color studies and tips to improve my art and make it more dynamic and interesting all that comes up are rudimentary explanations of the color wheel that explain it to me like im in 1st grade and just now discovering my primary colors

i want to know how to make my art look more "finished" for the sake of projects i have planned, but it feels like no matter what i do it ends up looking unfinished, sketchy, or experimental.

this is especially true when it comes to color. i know how to help others when it comes down to it, but i'm clueless on coloring my own work.

does anyone have tips on how to make their pieces look more polished?
