The Wrap It up Post. This was my first time ever using Tumblr. It was a little hard to understand the first time I used it but after that it was quite easy. I enjoyed seeing what everyone else was posting and getting to look back at post that I had made. I found this art class really interesting especially when we looked into artist that I have never heard of or would have never thought to call art. An example would be Andy Goldsworthy. I enjoyed when we got to use the sticks to draw and how we found different ways of art. The art with non original items was one of my favorites. I found an even bigger lens into art through this class. Art is everywhere and all we have to do is take time to enjoy it. Andy Warhol is one of my favorite artiest, I love how he is original and that he used Marilyn Monroe. I love that art is all in how you want to see it.

The Medici family backed Michelangelo and he actually lived with them for quite a while. This is the Medici chapel that Michelangelo helped to sculpt.

Pyramids that are made with a shell system. Sky scrapers made with the skeleton and skin system. And a building that used a special type of fabric for tensile.

Michelangelo sculpture David is so amazing to look at. His careful and perfect cuts blow the minds of many. He was the best marble sculptors.

Taking Louise Despont’s style. I definitely just let the shapes take over. This project excited me. I switched projects with someone which was interesting to see what they did as well.

Nick Caves work is so freeing and liberating. The idea that you can be free dancing in anyway while no one knows who you are is wonderful. His work is interesting and unique.

This is Henry Darger's work. Judith Scott was a woman who had Down syndrome that did not enjoy art classes but ended up making fiber sculptures that were called art. Martin Ramirez was in and out of mental hospitals and his art was found later by a professor and named art. Minnie Evans used oil, crayons and many on hand materials to make her work.
