hihi! it's totally okay to ask don't worry about it!!! to put it in blunt and simple terms, zionism is the nationalist belief that Israel should be an ethnostate. At the current moment, Israel is attacking and genociding its neighbouring country, Palestine, and this has been going on for a very long time - Zionism supports this. Israel has also started attacking other neighbouring countries, greedily trying to expand itself. It is important to remember that despite what Zionists may say, being anti-zionist is not an attack on jewish people. Many jewish people are against Zionism as well, of course. The genocide is not the fault of Jewish people, just the Zionists.

If anyone who is more informed than me (and is also not pro-israel) would like to add or correct anything I am open to listening, thank you
