Would you mind telling more about the toxic Yuri please? 👀 I read the bits you shared about the characters but would love to hear more about where are you planing to take them or any of the scenes in your art

Hmm it's a freshly baked story, so there isn't that much, and it was spoken into existence mostly because I loveee Hilda. She is @beidak-art's character so a lot of the setting, themes and vibe is coming from him, and I just threw in a "what if..." and came up with Eif, because unicorns.

I think the idea of an antihero like Hilda being changed for the better, and in turn unearthing corruption in something good and beautiful (that being Eif) is a good hook. Basically, Hilda is trying to prove she's the absolute best at everything ever, being deeply egocentric and insecure (dare I say narcissistic, but don't take my word for it) and Eif is so terrified of everything that she kind of has to learn to do the opposite - to stop and fight for herself.

Eif was a different person once, but loss and grief have planted seeds of something darker in her. She "helps" Hilda not just out of the goodness of her heart, but because she wants to feel like she has power over someone who was just trying to kill her. And Hilda needs a wake-up call, a signal to change. They are also forced (well, they both choose it, but it's not optimal) into a ritual that relies on intimacy, and that challenges them both in different ways, but they do it anyway. I think it's quite interesting.

Well, that's my take on it. I could get into it more and more but I've already rambled a bit. Thanks for the opportunity to talk about the blorbos :>

If you don't mind me asking - what are your issues with streaming on Twitch?

Bots.

Because there were so many bots a few years ago my account was banned irrevocably (because apparently it was my fault lol). I tried to appeal but it didn't help.

Now I'm discouraged and afraid it will happen again. Idk, if you have any thoughts on that I'd be happy to hear it!

Lately, I've been working on reorganizing my streaming setup — aiming for a cleaner layout, some new features, and most importantly… I'm coming back to Picarto after 5 years!

Back then, I had to leave due to constant lag and connection issues, but it seems things have improved. I’ll be testing it out over the next few streams and might stick around if all goes well.

I was very curious, about how you got all the grainy dots? On your artwork especially on these ones, is it a brush or a texture you use? I’m been trying to replicate it in procreate with little success :^( post/781461789436248064/hi-hope-you-had-a-good-holiday-halfbody#notes

It's a paper texture with several layers.

Sometimes I also add some gritty brush stamps that imitate traditional riso imperfections.
