I was very curious, about how you got all the grainy dots? On your artwork especially on these ones, is it a brush or a texture you use? I’m been trying to replicate it in procreate with little success :^( post/781461789436248064/hi-hope-you-had-a-good-holiday-halfbody#notes

It's a paper texture with several layers.

Sometimes I also add some gritty brush stamps that imitate traditional riso imperfections.

Your google form says it's OCs only but also that fanart is okay - would a player character from an rpg be okay? like bg3, dragon age, etc

Of course! That would be beidak's character Piszczyk, I won't get too much into their story since there's quite a bit of lore but you can read it all here.

Marlenka's one of my most developed characters, and even though this story is an AU to the "main" universe, a lot of the heart of this character is tied to it. Piszczyk is a very stoic, calming presence to her neurotic insecurity and she cheers him up and gives him hope in return. They fell in love pretty slowly, sort of settling into a certainty that they were happiest together - or at least that's how I see it.

Is Marlene ever happy? I feel for her

By nature, she's actually a cheerful and optimistic person - to be honest, it was Sabien that undermined her at every turn. She was miserable despite great propensity for happiness.

It was by chance, really (getting lost in the woods, and rescued by a kind stranger) that she got back in touch with that side of her.
