To my fave person,

I’m writing this 2 days before my birthday and I know na mas magiging emotional ako that day. So now, I wanted to say that I appreciate you! I just feel like I’ve known you long time ago kahit na the truth is, ilang months pa lang talaga. Marami man ang hindi totally supportive, please know that I will not let them break us off.

You may or may not read this right away, but thank you for the assurance, for the effort, for always wanting to be by my side kahit na I know you have your own routine before you met me. To me, you being your true self with me, sobrang happy ko na. Di ko man maexpress verbally and maprocess agad yung feelings ko for you, but now I’m sure to say na I want to be with you always, through ups and downs. Na certain realization hits why those bad and awful things happened to me before. Na baka kasi may better na darating. Then you happened. And with that, I thank God that you exist. And I hope as well na our love will strive and be centered to His will no matter what. Lastly, Thank you for reminding me to be kind. To be more patient with myself on this life journey.

I’m beyond grateful.

Spent my Saturday looking for an item for “something cuddly” to our exchange gift but also food trip on the side with my dormmates/colleagues (and their bf 🤭). I would say that this year has so much twists and turns dramatically, but still grateful for everything. My (chosen?) people taught me different things and I couldn’t be more happier than ever. I’m also proud of myself that some of the things on my unwritten list were already overcome and conquered. Even though I still have a lot to improve, skills to hone, and new places to explore or do out of my comfort zone, I would say that I’ve changed for the better. Really grateful for this moment.

ULTIMATE RECONNECTION WITH EMO SELF MAYDAY PARADE IN MANILA 2023

It’s been 5 days already but the high is still in me!!! My heart is pounding, so emotional on the inside because this was a dream come true 😭😭😭 I know not everyone appreciate their music and my previous self could never not imagine but here, we’re screaming our lungs out and enjoying with the crowd! This band is truly amazing! Their songs really made an impact, more so when I was in college. So hearing them live brings back so much memories. when I was sad, felt alone, survival mode, and having breakdowns then used their music as a background lol but really, it gave me comfort in those times (Miserable at best supremacy 🥹). Seeing ur fave band live was like healing your inner child.

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Like I don’t want it to end but thank you thank you so much MAYDAY PARADE!!! no regrets on spending my money on concerts. I wanna see them again (or more other bands soon)

CUBAO EXPO LAST 09/30/23

You know you’re with the right people when there’s dead silence but you are still comfortable even with just their presence (but in our case, no such thing as dead silence lol). And it don’t offend you even when they throw some kinda personal joke. I guess it’s just how we are.

So grateful for my friends! Kahit na few hours lang kami nagkita, feels like it wasn’t enough catch up. Sinamahan din nila ako bumili ng new phone sa greenhills then bonding sa cubao expo. Get to meet new peeps and hang out with the og. Nostalgic when we do that often nung di pa sila nakatira sa Baguio and di pa busy masyado sa life. Well, part of adulting that we have different schedule na but genuinely my heart is happy kung sino man sila ngayon, on what they have achieved and continuously doing. Keep on guys! Love you lots! Till our next ganaps

MALAYA FEST 2023 🔥💯

BEN & BEN ANG HIGHLIGHT HUHU parang last yr lang sabi namin sa susunod nasa front na kami, ngayon sobrang lapit na amin! Nagmanifest ngaaa 🥺

Always thankful talaga sa friends and free tix lang ito. Unli drinks and food sana pero di na namin masyado ininda since forda band talaga inabangan namin. Naenjoy ko rin yung little games namin na hulaan ng songs ni Taylor Swift sa Texas Roadhouse kahit na isa lang yung nahulaan ko lol. And first time ko din kumain sa loob ng Okada with dancing fountain sa gilid. Shala din dun e. Pero super nakaka happy lang experience lalo na nung narinig ko finally ang "araw-araw" at "leaves" on a different season ng life ko. Sa susunod na concert ulit!

My smile from below pic will prove that I can really enjoy things wherever I am with friends. Thank God for them!

I think also this is my first time to go and see a ballet performance live. Sponty date with friends will forever be a thrilling and happy moment! So grateful for free tix (perks? Lol) and the experience to absorb all kinds of art like how they portray love, relationships, community, culture in a dance without talking? My starving-artsy-inner-child smiles from ear to ear.

Also my first time to try authentic korean dishes (the Resto is called "Tang" in BGC). Not a fan of spicy but since my friends were craving, I still tried. tho it felt like 🥵 I need more ice, I enjoyed it and just be in the moment. Kdrama feels!

Then we end the night trying the trend of iced coffee in a korean mart near the place we've dined. I can say that night life in BGC is so alive! Gonna comeback with friends again soon.

BOTEJYU

This is their first time to try a japanese restaurant. Although we had Yabu when our relatives came from Hawaii around 2018 (it was my go-to japanese resto since then) I don't think they'll like it but since a lot of people were lined up to my desired pick at Trinoma, we decided to choose Botejyu since it was closer to us. For me, I liked my experience the first time I eat here with friends. But honestly, we're disappointed today. I'm embarrassed to my parents 'coz I see that they didn't enjoy the food 🥺. My mama requested a sabaw, so I thought a Ramen would do. I also found a family package with pork (I forgot what it's called), 5 pcs. tempura, chicken karaage, 3 pcs. of rice & iced tea for 1,645 (exclusive of VAT & SC. The total was P1,971) with additional Okonomiyaki which is what they are famous for. I think it's given that Japanese food have the expensive range, the question is, was it worth it?

For my parents verdict, it's a No 😔 and I don't argue with that. I noticed how the food taste different depending on branches (Tried the first time on SM North). I don't know, truthfully the sauce on okonomiyaki overpowers the dish. My Papa said the takoyaki at our local neighbor tastes much better. Ramen wasn't ma-umami enough. It's not their main dish so I guess it's fair. The tempura was just okay, as well as the chicken karaage. Hhmm If I have to choose between other Japanese resto that offers the same menu, I would go for Yabu still. But with mama's condition we picked what's near us and with no line. And I almost forgot, mama also commented that she didn't like the pork 'coz it was not tender and juicy as the pic portrayed. Sadly true. Maybe that time, there's a lot of customers to accommodate too? We didn't have a senior citizen discount as the staff informed us that the package already is discounted. There's no problem with that, really. But again, was it worth it? I don't think so.

I know next time not to introduce other people here. Tho I kinda liked their kathsu and takoyaki before. Overall it's 6/10
