* 싸이하누월 is one of Yoongi’s pre-debut tracks, you can find it on YouTube ** there have been some claims that the “send you to Hong Kong” line has been “"mistranslated”“ as meaning to make someone orgasm. I’ll clear it up. if you ask someone to "send you to Hong Kong,” there are two possible meanings; 1) to make someone happy or give someone a gift; 2) to give someone pleasure/make them orgasm while having sex with them. given the content of the remainder of the verses in both Cypher: Killer and this mixtape, I feel that it’s safe to guess that Yoongi was referring to the second meaning. *** this is the line that was translated as “fat dick ‘em.” to 'fat dick’ someone means to screw them over or cheat them out of something. **** there was a movie released this year called “The Wailing” (Korean title 곡성, the same word Yoongi uses to describe the “wailing” of those who are jealous/childish) which had a famous line delivered by child actress Kim Hwanhee: “뭣이 중헌디? 뭐시 중허냐고! 뭣이 중헌지도 모르면서…” the line (delivered in dialect!) is translated as “what is important? I asked what’s important! you don’t even know what’s important…” and as I assumed Yoongi’s “뭣이 중헌지 몰라” was a reference to this line, I translated it the same way. ***** this is the same “밥그릇을 뺏긴 게” that Yoongi refers to earlier in the song (“I always get a bigger portion than others / since I’m doing so well the hyungs want to take away my dish”). it can be interpreted as “cutting one down to size,” “taking away his livelihood” etc. since 밥그릇 (literally 'rice bowl’) is something theoretically necessary to continue existence.
