Dante: He listened to Enzo explain their general plan. He was excited for them, though his focus was on Emma more than anything else. He hadn’t really thought of the next step for the both of them. Maybe
he could suggest they moved in together? Enzo could have the apartment with Margot, and he and Emma could find a place for themselves? He wasn’t sure. He would follow Emma to the ends of the earth, so whatever made her happy, he would go with it.
Enzo: “Right, of course. It’s a bit of a mystery, but that’s what makes life exciting, I guess,” he noted with a chuckle. He felt bad that Margot had made such a big sacrifice for him, but he was ready to do anything to make the transition smooth and keep her happy.
Jimmy: He nodded a little. He hated himself for taking so long to get acclimated to everything. He’d been in New York for only a few weeks, yet he seemed to act like his whole life had been destroyed. Well, to be fair to himself, the PTSD of getting beaten, starved, shot, and tortured was something that took years to correct- all of it being added onto what he had from before, from his life in the mafia doing horrific things on a daily basis. He should cut himself some slack, but naturally, he wouldn’t. “Right, yeah. Sorry.”
Margot: She nodded in agreement, leaning in a bit closer to him. “Oh, yeah. It’ll be nice to just kind of do whatever we want. No plans or anything to worry about.” It had been a while, probably far longer for Enzo, since there was just nothing to do but enjoy themselves. A break from everything else. “It was pretty nice of Jimmy and Bekah to do all the settling down for us. Now all that’s left for us are the fun parts,” she mentioned, her tone joking. Her and Enzo had been together the longest, she didn’t see this kind of settling down for them quite yet. The wedding was nice, and Jimmy and Bekah looked happy, but marriage had always sounded sort of suffocating - she liked having fun with Enzo, she wanted to keep that fun going forever.
Emma: She hadn’t forgotten her and Dante both agreeing that they intended to get married some day, ‘settling down’ sounding pretty appealing to her. Emma loved Dante more than anything, she was more than interested in everything that progressing their relationship had to offer. “Maybe we can just use this wedding as a blueprint so not as much planning will have to go into it. You know, whatever wedding comes next,” she suggested.
Bekah: She shook her head immediately at his apology, looping her arm through his and squeezing his arm gently. She hadn’t meant to make him feel like he had anything to apologize for, she just wanted him to know she understood if he needed space. “No, no, don’t apologize. I just don’t want you to get overspent - we should be having fun,” she assured him. “Besides, I don’t want you exhausted on our wedding night,” she added, her tone lighter to move away from the topic that might make him insecure about his feelings.

Dante: He smirked over at her. “Of course, Margot, whatever you say.” He adored her, and thought it best that he not argue too much with her.
Enzo: He nodded his response. “We’ll probably leave in a few days- I know Margot has been wanting to go to Greece so we plan on going there first, but then we’ll sort of go where the wind takes us, I suppose. What about you and Dante, do you have any specific plans?” He hadn’t heard any updates so they might not have been planning anything, but it didn’t hurt to ask.
Jimmy: “Don’t worry about it- she’s not gonna be upset; she knew about this little interruption weeks in advance so that’s why she’s hosting a dinner to make up for it. I’ll let you know when she gives me a date.” He didn’t want her to somehow think it was their fault for his mother’s schedule getting in the way.
Emma: She couldn’t help but smile as Enzo laid out their plan, thinking that all sounded lovely. More than that, it sounded lovely for them. They deserved something nice like that. At his question, she looked over to Dante briefly before returning her gaze to Enzo. “I’m not sure yet. I guess we haven’t really discussed it or anything,” she replied, glancing over to Dante again just to make sure she was including him in her answer. She didn’t want to speak for him. “I’m sure we’ll figure it out, it’s been nice to play it by ear. But we’ll probably be here when you two get back, so don’t forget about us,” she joked.
Margot: She nodded, feeling content as she thought about everyone being happy. Bekah and Jimmy were married, Emma and Dante were happy here, her and Enzo were getting ready to take off. It was a little weird - like they were all mutually settling down. It was nice, but weird. “I’m sure we won’t be gone for too long. At least not all at once. We won’t just up and disappear forever or anything,” she replied with a shrug. “I’ve decided to move here permanently, so we’ll have to come back sooner or later so I can get all that in order. That also means we’ll have to make a trip to the states at some point soon.”
Bekah: She nodded, trying to take his advice and not worry about it. It was just important to her that Jimmy’s family like her - it was important that anyone like her, really. And the wedding felt like a good time to make a good first impression. But, she wouldn’t dwell on things that she couldn’t control. She spotted a couple friends waving the two of them over, and before Bekah began walking over there, she pulled him a bit closer. “Just let me know when you need a break from talking with everyone, okay?” she requested softly. They kept to themselves mostly before, but she knew after he had returned from New York there was even more need to just relax. She didn’t want him to feel burnt out, not today. “Don’t feel bad about it or anything, I understand.  We’ll get to everyone.”

Dante: He raised a brow. “Sure, Margot- sure.” He couldn’t help but break the facade to laugh. He thought she was absolutely amazing; a total riot.
Enzo: He smiled and nodded up at them. “Go on, go deal with people. I wouldn’t want to be you right now, that’s for sure,” he said with a chuckle. His arm went to casually rest across the back of Margot’s chair, his fingers absently toying with some of her hair.
Jimmy: He nodded. “See you all soon,” he told them before walking off with Bekah. “She did- I don’t know where she went though; she told me she might have to skip the reception due to some appointments, but she said she’d make it up by arranging a dinner sometime soon with the family,” he answered. He knew at the very least his mother was at the ceremony; he saw her in the audience.
Margot: “Shut up, Dante. You know I’m right. Even if I’m the only one who sees it,” she laughed along with him, shaking her head. She loved that she was able to get along well with Dante, it definitely mattered to her whether Enzo’s family liked her or not. It was at Enzo’s comment that she laughed again, leaning into him. “That’s why I talk enough for the both of us. It’s just to do you a favor,” she teased, planting a kiss on his cheek.
Emma:  It was impossible to stop herself from grinning, just happy to see everyone else so happy. They deserved it. In her limited time around this family, she was made certain that they didn’t deserve any more pain. Emma glanced over at Bekah and Jimmy as they walked away, watching them chat with each other. “It’s going to be weird to not have the wedding to look forward to anymore. And I’m sure we’ll see less of Jimmy and Bekah for a little bit, since they’ll be honeymooning. Everyone’s been together for a while now,” she commented. Even though she was new to this group, she still had gotten slightly used to seeing everyone in the family often. Especially since her and Bekah and Margot had grown much closer. “Are you two still planning to travel soon then, too?” she asked, directing her question to Enzo and Margot.
Bekah: She couldn’t help but be slightly disappointed that Jimmy’s mom might not be around. Not just because she wanted to meet her in person, but she also didn’t want to feel as if his mom didn’t want to meet her. “We’ll definitely have to set up a dinner sometime soon, then,” she agreed, nodding. “I feel bad that she came out here and I didn’t get to thank her for coming. I don’t really want to start off with a bad impression.”

Jimmy: He glanced over at Bekah, searching for her answer but then deciding on what he figured she was going to say anyway. “I
think we’ll probably do a round before sitting down- we don’t wanna be rude to our guests. But after; definitely.”
Dante: He waved away her complements. “You’re too nice to me. Someone say something mean before I explode.” He looked to Margot with a smirk.
Enzo: He stayed to the background of this conversation as he normally did, just paying attention and staying quiet. He didn’t mind the rest of them talking; he knew he’d have plenty of time to talk with everyone later on.
Margot: She laughed, turning her attention to Dante. “What are you looking at me for? I’m the nicest person here,” she replied sarcastically, shaking her head.  “Besides, I need more time. I’ve got to get like, a list of your flaws going so I can really hit you where it hurts. I don’t want to waste my energy saying unimpressive mean things,” she explained, her tone teasing.
Emma: “We’ll let you guys go talk to everyone else, we don’t want to monopolize you,” she told Jimmy and Bekah, letting Dante and Margot have their own conversation going. “I’m sure these two will keep Enzo and I entertained.”
Bekah: “We’ll be back,” she promised, leaving the table with Jimmy. “Did your mom end up coming? I haven’t gotten a chance to really see anyone,” she asked him, glancing around the small group of guests.

Enzo: He glanced up and saw Jimmy and Bekah walk over. Enzo had to physically hold himself back from getting up and grabbing Jimmy in a hug. The two brothers were the closest out of them, and he just couldn’t help but feel so overwhelmingly happy for him. But he forced himself to stay seated. He smiled up at the couple.
Dante: He grinned and looked up at Bekah, craning his neck to plant a kiss to her cheek. “Of course, Bekah- anything for you,” he replied. “I’m just happy you like it.”
Jimmy: He chuckled and shrugged. “Nah, I think things are pretty much the same so far. I’ll betcha it’ll hit me later on,” he replied, kissing the top of Emma’s head before going to do the same to Margot.
Bekah: She smiled as he kissed her cheek, giving him another quick squeeze. “Of course I do. You’ve got such a good eye for things like this, I knew you’d make it beautiful,” she told him honestly. Of course Bekah would trust Dante to make the reception area beautiful, and what she wanted more than anything was for her family to be as involved as possible in the wedding without doing too much work.
Emma: She nodded at Jimmy’s answer, smiling softly as he kissed her head. “Well, you’ll have to let us know once it does,” she replied. The wedding had made her think about Dante’s comment earlier that he was sure they would get married some day. They didn’t discuss it much, but being at the wedding definitely made that feel more attainable.
Margot: “Do you guys want to come sit with us?” she asked, already moving a bit to make room for them. “Or do you guys have to go talk to other people first?”

Dante: “Definitely,” he agreed. “Getting tons of strangers involved would just make it all feel weird. This is nice though, it’s simple.” Cheap and safe and full of love; it’s the best way to plan a wedding- as evidence showed.
Enzo: “Exactly, Tinkerbell,” he teased, reaching over to ruffle her hair before starting to eat. “But yeah, it made a really beautiful day.”
Jimmy: He chuckled a little and kissed her cheek. “I’m so happy, Bekah
you’re everything.” He gave it a few more moments before nodding. “Okay
okay. Let’s get out there before my brothers send a search party.”
Margot: She rolled her eyes with a laugh, leaning into him. “I mean, I didn’t ask to be born the life of the party,” she teased back. It was only a moment later when she spotted Bekah and Jimmy walking toward them, gesturing toward them with her fork. “Speaking of beautiful, here come the newlyweds.”
Bekah: It only made her happier to see her family all sitting together, waving at them as her and Jimmy approached. Before going to get food, she walked with Jimmy over to see everyone, coming over to give Dante a tight hug from behind. “I haven’t gotten to say hi to you yet. Everything looks so beautiful, thank you for everything,” she told him softly.
Emma: Seeing Jimmy and Bekah look so happy as they approached made Emma grin. They really were a lovely couple. “So, how’s married life been for the last few minutes? Any different feeling than not-married life?”

Dante: He shrugged a little. “Thank you. Anything to keep Bekah from worrying more than she had to, honestly. If I could take something off her hands, I was happy to do it.” He leaned over and pressed a kiss to her forehead.
Enzo: He glanced around when Margot pointed out that Jimmy and Bekah had not joined the reception. “They’re probably just taking a moment to themselves. I’d be stressed and overwhelmed too- so they’re probably just preparing to have to talk to a bunch of people all night.” He knew his brother well; especially given all the adjusting that Jimmy had to do since New York.
Jimmy: “I’m sorry,” he muttered, pulling her in for a light hug. When he pulled back, he lightly brushed a strand of her hair off her forehead. “You look so beautiful. When you walked down that aisle, I wasn’t sure if I was dreaming.”
Emma: She nodded, knowing they had all tried to keep this as low-maintenance as possible for Jimmy and Bekah. They weren’t too far removed from the stressful time when Emma had met Dante, it was definitely the least they could do. “It looks beautiful. It does feel a lot more special to have this whole day kind of be a product of everyone coming together - it’s very personal,” she noted, smiling warmly as he kissed her forehead.
Margot: That made sense - she knew at least Enzo was far less extroverted that she was. At least since she’d seen Jimmy again since he came back from New York, it seemed fairly similar for him. “Right. I forget that not everyone totally thrives off of attention,” she remarked jokingly, before starting to eat her food. Margot turned her attention to the rest of the table, happy to be able to talk to Emma and Dante now as well. She’d enjoyed their company since she’d gotten to known them a bit better. “It is kind of crazy this all came together so well and so quickly. I feel like every wedding has some kind of disaster happen, even when there’s like, wedding planners involved. I guess it’s just good karma, or something,” she added, knocking on the wood table - just in case she jinxed it.
Bekah: She shook her head, squeezing him gently. “You don’t have to apologize,” she replied gently. His words made her grin, her heart so full. “Thank you. You look... you’re just incredible,” she laughed. “I can’t believe this is real still. It’s too good to be true. We’re married! It’s just - I don’t know how long it’ll take to feel real but I feel so lucky. I get to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Dante: With a grin and a nod, he took her to the reception area. It was lots of tables with lovely place settings, flowers, wine, and everything had a sweet, simple feel to it. As the artist of the family, Dante knew exactly the ‘picture’ the whole scene would want to create, so he took care of it for the most part.
Enzo: “Right right, let’s go,” he replied, walking with her to the reception area. It was his suggestion to make it buffet-style, that way no one had to eat anything they didn’t like, and they’d have enough for leftovers afterword. He got two plates and handed one to Margot, then fixed his own plate.
Jimmy: He nodded a little and kissed her back. “We should
just- one more moment. I’m overwhelmed.” He shut his eyes and took a few deep breaths- he truly was overwhelmed, doing his best to keep it all down but now that they were essentially alone, he could be himself again. “I just
 need a moment.”
Emma: It was easy to tell the influence that Dante had had on the reception area. She loved how artistic he was, it had been one of her initial favorite things about him on that first date. “It looks beautiful,” she told him, squeezing his arm. “You’re so good at things like this.” Emma walked over to the buffet with him, getting in line behind Enzo and Margot.
Margot: She thanked him for the plate, piling her food on before they went to find their seats. Emma and Dante joined them after they got their food, and Margot looked around the table. “Are Jimmy and Bekah not back over here yet? Did they need us to do something?”
Bekah: She rubbed up and down his arms soothingly, nodding. “We can take as much time as you need. No one’s going to ask anything of us, you can take a minute,” she assured him, smiling. Whatever he needed, she would try and help him with as she usually did. For the first time in a long time, Bekah actually wasn’t overwhelmed at all. His words and the ceremony in general had put her entirely at ease. All she could feel was love for him.

Dante: He grinned and nodded. “Absolutely. I’m so happy for them.” This would certainly be a big topic of conversation for a while. But something deep within Dante knew that this joyful, romantic haze wouldn’t last. It couldn’t- it’d be impossible, right?
Enzo: He kissed her back. “I couldn’t think of anyone else I’d rather be with,” he murmured. He always felt alone with Margot- no one else mattered when she was in the room, so now his focus was on her again. God, she was beautiful. He ran his fingers through her hair gently and lovingly.
Jimmy: He beamed down at her, keeping her locked in his arms. “I love you too,” he returned quietly. “You’re my home
” Home, wife, same thing. Bekah was everything to him; he’d never let her go. The crowd moved on to the gorgeous picnic area where the reception was to be held, but Jimmy wanted to stay behind, just for a moment.
Emma: She pressed a kiss to his cheek, excited that now they could all take some time to be with each other. It was nice just to see everyone be so happy and moved by this - she wanted it to last for as long as possible. “I want to see all the work you guys did on the reception area,” she urged, leading him out away from where the ceremony had been held.
Margot: She grinned, pressing against his side and pulling his arm around her. “I love you,” she replied, feeling especially affectionate. Today was really the first day that Italy had felt like home, rather than somewhere she was visiting. Margot had always cared about Enzo, but this wedding made her realize just how invested she was in his family now as well. It was nice. “C’mon, I’m getting hungry.” She led him in the direction Dante and Emma were headed.
Bekah: Even though she knew she should go out and talk to people, it was hard to move away from Jimmy even for a second. She wiped under her eyes one last time, just gazing up at him. “God, I’m so happy,” she shook her head, laughing mainly in disbelief. This still felt like a dream, just as their whole relationship had. It was too good to be true. “We should probably go talk to people, knowing us we’ll have plenty of time to be alone,” she commented, though she still didn’t move. Rather, she pulled him in for one more kiss, letting this feeling of being just married settle in a bit longer.

Dante: When the vows were over and they finally kissed he turned to look at Emma. The awe in her face gave him butterflies- it was so sweet that she cared so much for his brother and sister-in-law.
Enzo: As Margot took pictures, he pressed kisses to her head or the hand he was still holding. He thought it was kind that she was taking pictures for them- it would make for a sweet gift if they got them printed and made into nice photos for their new home.
Jimmy: Once the ceremony was over and the kiss was the last thing to seal the deal, he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her in. He kissed her softly- he didn’t want to be too indulgent, or else he’d never stop kissing her. But god, it was good. They were married. Jimmy and Bekah Dawson.
Emma: Weddings usually made her cry - she’d wept through her sister’s weddings standing right up there beside them. However, while she didn’t cry watching Jimmy and Bekah, she couldn’t think of another time she’d been this happy. Everyone just seemed so proud, so happy to witness this - it was infectious. “That was beautiful,” she whispered to Dante, feeling an overabundance of love for him after watching the ceremony.
Margot: She put her phone away once they kissed, still unable to wipe the grin from her face. Bekah hadn’t been a friend of hers for long, but she couldn’t think of the last time she’d been so happy for someone. “They look so in love,” Margot murmured to Enzo. She stole a quick kiss as people began to get up, the ceremony having ended. “I’m really happy to be here with you,” she added after a moment, meaning it. There was too much love in the air to not want to experience it with someone who meant so much to her.
Bekah: Every kiss with Jimmy was perfect, but she would never, ever forget this one. Somehow it was especially special, as if she could feel that they were married now. “I love you so much,” she whispered, just for him to hear. It was nice that everyone had gotten to hear her talk about how much she loved him, but she wanted to express it just to him for a moment. “You’re my husband.”

Dante: Watching Jimmy and Bekah be so happy just made him practically squirm with excitement. The fact that someone in their family was getting a happy ending; it was everything to him. He pressed a kiss to Emma’s cheek and continued watching the ceremony.
Enzo: He pressed a kiss to Margot’s hand as they watched the ceremony. Witnessing a wedding only made him want one for himself and Margot someday, or for Dante and Emma to have theirs sometime. It was so beautiful.
Jimmy: Listening to Bekah give her vows only made his heart constrict. He truly loved her more than anything else in the world, and hearing her speak her mind made him feel like he was finally allowed to accept the fact that someone loved him. Someone truly loved him, and didn’t think he was a monster. It was his turn, and he shook his head a little. Truth be told he didn’t really have much prepared. He couldn’t really put it into words the way she could.
“Bekah, you
I don’t know where to begin, but all I know is that you are my best friend. We’ll always be friends, and that’s what I think is so fun and beautiful about you. You make me feel like I’m a real person, like I can do good in the world and that my feelings matter. You’re so
beautiful. Inside and out; I’ve never met a person that cared so much before. You care about everyone, and despite having to remind you to care about yourself every once and a while, you are a never-ending gift. I can’t believe I’m this lucky- I keep swearing you could’ve done better.” He chuckled to himself and squeezed her hand. “I promise that I will be there to protect you through whatever ails you in the moment. No matter how insignificant it feels, I will be there. I promise to make you laugh as well, because you need the same stuff that you give out. I promise to make our home as equal as it deserves because you never deserve anything less than that. You are an intelligent, kind, giving woman, and I will stay beside you no matter what.”
Emma: She nearly forgot to breathe listening to them give their vows, not wanting to miss a single moment of the beautiful words they spoke to each other. The fact that Dante could barely sit still was only making this moment more beautiful to her, seeing just how affected he was by all of this. She glanced over to him with a smile as he kissed her cheek, pulling herself even closer to him, looping her arm through his.
Margot: She filmed their vows for them, knowing that if she was this touched by what they had to say to each other, they would probably want to relive it as well. It was when it was time for them to exchange rings that she switched back over to take more pictures of them. Though she was caught up in this task, she leaned into Enzo as he kissed her hand, resting against him as she took pictures.
Bekah: There was no stopping the tears now, hearing him reflect that love she had poured out of herself was enough to make her lose any semblance of cool she had managed to maintain. Of course she knew that he loved her, but hearing it all put into words in front of the people they loved made it so much more special.
With trembling hands, she slid the ring onto Jimmy’s finger. Bekah loved her engagement ring, but the wedding band felt perfect sitting on her finger. It was simple, it was beautiful - just like today. And finally, she could do what she had wanted to do since the moment she saw him. Her hand came up to rest on the back of his neck, and she pulled him in for a kiss. Her husband.

Dante: He grinned and nodded, setting his head against Emma’s. “It’s perfect. Really perfect.” He couldn’t believe it was even happening. He was just so proud- and he knew that once this wedding happened, everything would be complete. Sure, himself and Emma, and Margot and Enzo would probably have their happy endings eventually, but Jimmy and Bekah deserved this. They deserved something so perfect and good and safe.
Enzo: He walked Bekah down the aisle- he couldn’t be more happy and proud. He smiled up at his brother, and down at Bekah – two people in love that couldn’t be more perfect for each other. Bekah was stunning and the excitement shone in Jimmy’s eyes. Enzo grinned as Bekah kissed his cheek, and he let her go.
Jimmy: Seeing Bekah in that dress walking towards him, he wasn’t quite sure it was real. He was waiting for his father to stand up from the seats and pull out a gun, or for some old enemy to grab him and beat him into the ground – something had to destroy this moment. It had to. He knew who he was, what he deserved, what his family deserved – but of course, this wasn’t a dream, and those dangers were gone, and he was just
there. Standing in front of Bekah, and he was happy.
She finally got up to him and he took her hands, squeezing them supportively. “Hi,” he whispered back. He let the officiant start, but he couldn’t take his eyes off Bekah, not for a moment.
Emma: It was obvious they were off in their own world, and Emma just felt lucky to be present in this moment with them. Sitting by the man she loved most in the world while she got to share in a beautiful moment with two people so clearly in love was something that really put everything into perspective. Even after barely being around for some of the bad moments in their lives, it was so nice to see them happy.
Margot: She smiled at Enzo as he sat next to her, squeezing his arm. Though what they officiant said didn’t seem to vary much from wedding to wedding, seeing how excited Bekah and Jimmy looked made it all seem new and exciting. They just looked so happy, it would be hard not to be happy for them.
Bekah: All she was able to focus on was Jimmy, even if she wanted to take as much of this moment in as possible. It was when they were prompted to say their vows that she perked up a bit more, clearing her throat primarily so she didn’t sound too much like she was going to cry. She was, just hopefully not right away.
“Since the moment I met you, you’ve shown me a kind of love I could only dream of. You’ve shown me a love that’s patient, generous, kind, silly, understanding, protective, and unconditional. I never knew a love like that truly existed, and I never knew I could find it so purely in one person,” she paused for a moment, squeezing his hands gently as she felt tears in her eyes. “I love the way you care so much about the people you love, how willing you are to protect them. I love your sweet tooth, and the way I can always count on you to fill our cabinets with sweets. I love how you never discount anything I say, even if I might not entirely know what I’m talking about. I love how you never expect anything in return for the nice things you do, because that’s not why you do them. I love how committed you are to surprises and romantic gestures. Most of all, I love that there has never been a day that I’ve looked at you and been able to picture a day without you. I love that you are everything I could ask for in a friend, in a husband, and in a partner.” Bekah was blinking away visible tears, but she didn’t really care. It didn’t feel like anyone existed besides the two of them. “I promise to be on your side, through everything. I promise to listen when you need me to, and never judge. I promise to never let us get too serious, and always at least try to make you laugh. I promise I will never let you feel like you’re alone, because I will always be there to love and support you. And I promise to love you with everything I have every day for the rest of my life, because you are truly my soulmate, and a life without you isn’t a life at all.”

Dante: He glanced up to see the girls approaching. He stood and grabbed Emma fast, spinning her around. He laughed- god, he was just so happy!! He walked with Emma to the audience. A rather small one at that, but he knew that numbers didn’t matter to Jimmy or Bekah. “I can’t believe this all came together,” he noted.”
Jimmy: He smiled at Margot. “I am ready,” he replied, tugging on one of his suspenders. He decided to go the more casual route- button up, suspenders, slacks- that nice casual wedding feel that Bekah talked his ear off about over Pinterest. He liked it infinitely more than wearing a suit, so he wasn’t complaining.
Enzo: He smiled down at her, shaking his head a little when she started to tear up. “Hey, hey- save the tears for your vows, silly,” he said, reaching out to squeeze her arm. “I love you too, Bekah, we all do. You’re our family even before you decided to get married.”
Emma: It wasn’t just Dante who was feeling so happy - Emma couldn’t stop smiling. Even if she didn’t know Jimmy and Bekah super well, it was still just nice to see two people so in love have such a beautiful day for themselves. She leaned her head against Dante’s shoulder, feeling the love that was in the air. “It’s beautiful too. Everyone seems so excited and happy - it’s really nice.”
Margot: She had her phone out and ready, wanting to take some pictures for them. They deserved something tangible to remember this day - and they had mentioned they were moving into a new house, it would be nice to have some pictures to put up.
Bekah: She laughed again, swiping under her eyes with her thumbs one last time. “Well, I can’t if you’re going to say stuff like that.” There really weren’t enough words to describe how much she appreciated and loved this family, even if there were she needed to save it for later or else she would never end up letting this whole thing get started. Bekah took Enzo’s arm, anxious to see Jimmy.
Everything was ready, everyone was in their place, and Bekah was finally just a walk down the aisle away from Jimmy. The moment she saw him, she broke into a wide grin, unable to look at anything but him. He looked so nice, it just made her so happy. Everything was so simple, everyone looked so happy, she wasn’t sure she would even make it to the vows before she was crying. Once it was time for Enzo to go sit down, Bekah pulled him in to peck his cheek softly. Now, she was standing in front of Jimmy, reaching out to take his hands in hers. She just needed to touch him, needed to make sure that all of this was actually real. “Hi,” she murmured, still grinning brightly, taking a moment to take all of this in.

Jimmy: He was shockingly calm. He knew Bekah was going to be bouncing off the fucking walls, but after his time in New York, a lot of things were put into perspective for him. He knew that one way or another, he was gonna get married, and if things didn’t go perfectly, he didn’t care. He’d be married to Bekah; that’s what mattered. He was hanging out with Dante- everything was finally done and they could just sit around and wait for the ceremony to start.
Dante: He was excited for the wedding- it was small and simple and pretty and it just made him happy to know that Jimmy was going to marry his soulmate. Things were finally looking up for the Dawson brothers- and Jimmy out of all of them really deserved a happy day like this. He was too good to suffer further.
Enzo: He went to Bekah’s dressing room, as she asked him once everything had finally been completed. He couldn’t be more honored that she’d chosen him to walk her down the aisle – what a loving gesture from someone he really cared for. He walked in and grinned at Bekah, who looked so lovely. “You’re absolutely stunning, Bekah,” he replied softly, walking over. “Everything is ready, we’ll start once you want to.” He kissed Margot on the cheek, then Emma.
Bekah: “Thank you,” she smiled, her reply just as soft. It didn’t feel like she should take full credit for how she looked, especially since Margot and Emma had helped her so much today. Still, she did feel beautiful, and it was nice to hear. Bekah waited for Margot and Emma to finish up what they were doing before she spoke again, not wanting to mess up their hard work. “Perfect. That’s perfect - thank you all. I think I’m nearly ready.”
Margot: “Emma and I will let everyone know and get everyone sitting and everything,” she offered, still smiling from Enzo’s kiss on the cheek. She stood up, leaving with Emma to go find the boys and let them know that everything was nearly ready to go. Finding Dante and Jimmy together, she clapped her hands together to get their attention. “Bekah’s almost ready! So, we should all get ready,” she looked to Jimmy, “mainly you, probably.”
Emma: Since they only had a few people coming, it was just easier to have everyone watch the ceremony rather than try and find a role for nearly everyone and leave just a few people sitting awkwardly by themselves. So, she got Dante and went to sit down, Margot sitting beside them with a spot saved for Enzo. “It really is a perfect day. The weather couldn’t be any better,” she mentioned to Dante. The sun was shining, it wasn’t too hot, and everyone just seemed so happy.
Bekah: She moved in to give Enzo a hug before making any move to get ready. “I couldn’t hug you when you came in,” she explained, needing some outlet to get out all the love and happiness she was feeling right now. “Thank you so much for doing this. I’m just -” Bekah laughed, feeling her eyes burn as she sniffed and tried to blink her tears away. “Sorry, it’s going to be an emotional day. I’m so happy - I’m just really happy to be a part of this family, and that you’ve all let me in and accepted me and been so good to me. I know we’re family and I don’t have to say anything, but I love you, and I really appreciate you. I appreciate everything you’ve done, and I’m really grateful you agreed to give me away.”
Wiping at her eyes, she laughed again at how emotional she’d already gotten before the ceremony even started. “Okay, sorry. I think I’m given a pass to be a little cheesy today, though,” she joked. “Should we get this show on the road?”

Bekah: Margot and Emma had so graciously agreed to help Bekah to get ready - well, they had mainly asked then refused to take no for an answer. She really didn’t want everyone’s lives to have to revolve around this wedding, but once the day arrived she definitely appreciated the help. Especially given how emotional she was getting on and off, since it was just dawning on her this was her fucking wedding day.
They had gotten to use the vineyard for their venue, and only had a little setting up to do before the ceremony started - they didn’t have too many guests coming. In fact, besides Jimmy’s brothers and their girlfriends there were only a few friends coming. And, of course, Jimmy’s mother had been invited. Which only made Bekah more anxious to have things go right. It was difficult to sit still while Margot did her makeup - something Margot had requested to do - and Emma pinned her hair up, which Margot had also requested.
Margot: “Can you please just hold still?” she asked, her hand getting firmer on Bekah’s cheek as she tried to keep her movements steady. The three girls had grown much closer in the small amount of time they had been introduced, especially after Margot insisted they go out for a bachelorette-type event - just so Bekah could have one. She also had the most experience with wedding related activities, given that it seemed no one she knew was able to stop themselves from throwing themselves in and out of relationships. She was helping make sure everything was running smoothly, already having made sure Bekah get in her dress and found somewhere private for them to help her get ready. Even if having Jimmy see her in her dress before she walk down the aisle wasn’t actually bad luck, no one in this family should be taking any chances with luck, right?
“Everything is totally fine. We’ve got everything under control, so you can just enjoy the day,” Margot reminded her gently. She heard someone approaching behind them. “That better not be Jimmy. It’s way too late to jinx all of this,” she called without turning around, only glancing up at Emma who seemed just as focused on her task as she was.
Bekah: She’d asked Enzo to come back where she was after he’d finished whatever he had offered to do - she couldn’t keep track of everything that needed to be done at this point. Since he’d be walking her down the aisle she figured they should be in the same place. Bekah lifted her hand to wave at him as he came in, trying not to move too much to mess up either girls handiwork. “You look really nice,” she complimented him, glancing back behind him. “Is everything all set up, then? We’re all ready to go?” God, she was already getting slightly emotional at the thought. She was going to be a mess today.

He nodded a little. “You’re probably right,” he said softly. “I love you, Bekah.” For the first time since he returned he felt like he could finally get some good rest and feel better.
She got more comfortable, knowing it was time for both of them to get some rest. Every time they managed to calm down, Bekah seemingly tricked herself into thinking everything was fine. Maybe this time she could be right, or maybe she was being overly optimistic again. “I love you so much, Jimmy,” she replied with a smile, pressing a kiss to his cheek. “Tomorrow we can get on track with wedding planning and be the most annoying, cheesy couple again.”

He let his eyes shut and he relaxed into it all, feeling the weight of the hour. “Mmmm
. I’m fine with that, I like being stuck here.” He’d happily quit everything if it meant all the time he wanted with Bekah in bed.
“I like being stuck here too. This worked out rather nicely. I’d say we make a pretty good match,” she replied lightly, her voice quiet as she felt herself relax along with him. “I feel like we should probably go to sleep, but that would mean we’re getting closer to having to get out of bed tomorrow morning.”
