Have you ever played Pokémon Go? Crazy how popular it was for a while as it was barebones on release. There was no trading like the trailer showed and it was only gen 1 Pokémon for a while. I think there was a thing where if you didn’t catch the starters and kept on walking eventually a pikachu would show up as well.

i did! i played it a lot in college since i was always running around for my major lol

i caught a squirtle as my starter cause i didn't know you could get a pikachu lol but back then i was just a pokemon scrub who hardly knew anything besides the fact i liked the water starters best

my buddies and i were all noobs at it too and we'd sit together and be like. . . how do i battle you. . . how do we use lure. . . why is the professor so hot?

Love your work! I’d love to see an Laventon x reader where (Y/N) completed the Pokédex, and their mission is complete. But they have a super angsty discussion with Laventon about them returning to their own time.

Originally that was the plan, but since being in their relationship with Laventon it’s become more complicated. They don’t want to leave their professor, but (Y/N) also has people and responsibilities waiting for them in the future

"I suppose. . ." The words catch in his throat, and he struggles to swallow around them. His hands twitch around your Pokédex, unable to grasp it from your own trembling hands. It would mean taking it from you, and not giving it back. He can't. . . not yet. "I suppose I should thank you."

You smile, your eyes crinkling in the corner. It hits like a knife to the chest as Laventon realizes this might be the last smile he sees. No more early survey grogginess filled with silly jokes over tea. No more Wallflower celebrations after a hard day's work, fighting over the last mochi with the kids most always winning.

No more you.

"You've thanked me more than enough." You say, chuckling low and deep. It's subdued, a thin veil to hide your own sorrow. You don't want to leave, but you have to.

Laventon knows you do.

"I haven't thanked you half enough." He protests. He still can't take the dex from your hands. "I could spend the rest of eternity thanking you, and it wouldn't be enough."

"Such a charmer." You tease him.

You're never going to tease him again, make him blush and stammer as you laugh and rib him.

"Only for you." Laventon admits.

The stairs behind you crackle with static. You glance back at them.

Laventon forces himself to take the dex from your hands.

"I wish you'd keep it." He says, holding it to his chest.

"Aw," you waft a hand at him, "it's yours and you know it. It was always yours. Besides. . ." You give a shrug, smile lopsided and eyes cast away. "It's something to remember me by."

Laventon grips the dex so hard it groans in protest. As if he'd ever forget you. As if he wasn't going to carry you everywhere with him, whether as a photo in his breast pocket, a Pokémon in his care, or a memory set in stone within his own mind.

"I'd never forget you." He whispers.

"It's selfish," you whisper right back, eyes glassy and as shattered as your smile, "but I don't want you to."

He reaches for you. You step forward. Your cheek is warm against his palm, wet as the tears start to fall. A goodbye catches in the sob you release, but Laventon, so very aware that this is it, silences you.

He presses his lips to yours. You taste like salt and like home. Like something he's going to remember and regret and cherish for the rest of his sorry life without you.

No. It won't be sorry, but it won't be whole. Not without you.

It wasn't meant to be, you and him. But you have this moment together. He has you gasping his name into his mouth, he has you gripping his coat like it'll keep you here, tethered to him.

He has so much to remember you by. He just wishes you'd remind him instead.

Could you write an imagine for Ingo, emmet, and N (separate) were it takes place during the final year of highschool. The characters and the reader a pining for each other hard and they’re working hard to try and confess as well ask the other to prom. Up to you on who confesses first

Ingo:

You were all he could think about most days. Ingo knew it was hopeless, that denying it would get him nowhere. He had to face the facts that he was smitten for you. It was hard not to be, when you smiled at him and laughed at his pitiful jokes. He was lucky to have been assigned as your lab partner for the year, a blessing he wasn't going to squander after pining after you so hard all of high school.

So Ingo planned. He worked diligently to create something worth your time, an intricate gesture to show the extent of his feelings, hopefully without being too much. As much as Ingo admired you, he didn't want to scare you away by being too much too fast.

He could already be loud; he didn't want to be overbearing.

So on a bright Saturday morning, Ingo plotted himself in your front yard, shaking head to toe as he clutched his big sign, his bouquet of flowers, his balloons, and a bag of sweets he knew you liked. His call of your name had you running to your window, and as you peered down to him, you read the words on the sign he held.

"Please join me for a fun Eevee-ning at Prom!"

"Please!" The red-faced Ingo tacked on, just in case.

You slapped a hand over your mouth, giggling. "Yes! I'll go to prom with you!"

Ingo's resounding "REALLY??" could be heard across Unova. But hey, at least he was happy. That's all you cared about anyway.

Emmet:

Emmet was pretty deep in denial of his feelings for you when prom season began to roll around. You were just his very good friend! And he got so excited to hang out with you that it made him all hot and flushed, so it wasn't blushing, Ingo, he was just hot.

The thing that really kicked his ass into gear was hearing that someone else wanted to ask you to prom. It was just a casual mention he happened to overhear, and suddenly Emmet was struck with horror that he was being dumb assuming you'd go to prom together without him even asking just because you were best friends.

(Jealousy played a hand in it as well, not that he really acknowledged that part.)

Emmet didn't waste time once he came to those several conclusions. He scrambled to get what he needed. He grabbed your favorite sweet treats, he got flowers, he got a plush of a Pokémon you liked. He raced to your house afterwards, nearly tearing out the knees of his jeans as he dropped to a kneel before you.

"Prom!" He shouted at you, sweaty and blushing and deliriously smiling so very wide. "Please!"

"Really?" You gasped, clapping when he nodded. "Yes! Emmet!"

Your kiss kicked his head on straight. Oh, he did love you. A lot.

Good thing he had all of prom to make up for lost time!

N:

N grew up sheltered, but he knew about prom. He knew about promposals, how romantic they were, and figured they were the perfect way to express his feelings for you. He knew through your Pokémon that you were practically swooning over the idea of being asked to prom, so N went to work.

It was. . . more difficult than he expected. Getting the supplies was easy, but what would he say? What would he put on the poster board? There were the typical prom-related puns, or Pokémon-related puns, or what have you, but he wanted it to be special. You deserved special.

He couldn't ask Ghetsis, so N turned towards your own friends. Luckily, they were happy to helpful, if a bit threatening towards him should he even think of breaking your heart (not that he would ever!). They showed him a few quotes you liked, a few puns you found endlessly funny, and other ideas.

And with all the information, N put together the most incomprehensible and crowded poster board to ever be. And he marched it up to your house, along with flowers and candy and a corsage and even a stereo playing music in the background.

"Hello." He greeted, rushing to get the words out as you struggled to comprehend the sign before you. "Please go to prom with me. We'll have so much fun!"

"Oh!" You gasped, but you grinned. N dropped his sign the moment your arms opened to him, beaming into your shoulder. "Of course!"

You showed your friends the pictures your parents took afterwards, and they boggled the monstrosity N put together. But you were covering him in grateful kisses, so they kept any negative opinions to themselves. At least you were happy!

Hi! I have questions about your soulmate Zangoose AU! You said something about Ex-Plasma!Reader not being legally able to own pokemon. First question, why is that? I saw a post that assumed they're doing community service. Second, what pokemon would Ex-Plasma!Reader have if they could own pokemon again? Third question, despite seeking redemption, does Ex-Plasma!Reader get harassed by people for being Ex-Plasma? How do the subways twins react to this? Fourth question, IS THERE A HAPPY ENDING???!!

hello!!! i'm happy to answer all your questions!

the ex plasma reader is just a spin off of the zangoose au, built up by other people sending asks and having cool thoughts!

for ex plasma reader not being able to own pokemon, that's because they're still in a "rehabilitation" phase of their release. they have to prove they're not a danger anymore, that they won't use their pokemon for bad. until then, they're pokemon are kept from them, and they're not allowed to catch more. they'll probably do this by settling into a new life, with a steady job, and by showing good behavior, probably with a bit of community service mixed in

from what others suggested, ex plasma reader used to have a murkrow and a deino while still with their group. they want those pokemon back more than anything, but in the events of the au, they do catch a shiny seviper to sever their soulmate bond

yes, ex plasma reader gets very harassed about being ex plasma, but only if people recognize them as ex plasma. they don't have anything that specifically indicates their ex plasma, besides maybe the fact they have no pokemon, but when they apply to jobs or when they're doing assigned community service, people discover their past nd they're given a lot of grief over it.

as for how the twins react to it, at first they think it's somewhat justified, since the people they tend to see harassing the reader had their pokemon stolen/almost stolen by them and their previous group. they do keep things from getting violent, but they're not keen to side with the reader at first. after piecing together the readers real story, and understanding that they were taken as a kid and plasma was all they ever really knew, they start to be more proactive in shutting down harassment of the reader just trying to do their best

as for their ending, it depends! if you want a happy ending, i can definitely write one! however, with the timeline of events that go on for ex plasma reader, reconciliation with the twins is very. . . not good. after all, the twins denied them, let them be harassed in public, and never really made any attempt to get to know them or be on their side until they learned of their past. that's not someone you're all to keen to get to know.

so in my version, the reader disappears and finds peace (maybe even happiness) somewhere far away from the twins.

but i dunno! maybe once time has passed and they've all become different people, they can come together and see what happens. it's up to you my dear!

Forgot to add. What gimmick do you miss? Odd that they didn’t add back the battle frontier. Worst is how they had a small replica of it in the game.

I’ll be honest with ya I didn’t play that many pokemon games before starting the blog. I don’t know many of the gimmicks first hand, but I do think the z moves from sun and moon were cute. Dancing alongside your pokemon to power them up!

It also has so much comedic potential if you imagine Guzma or Giovanni doing it lmao

Have you played either Omea Ruby or Alpha Sapphire? I’m asking this as I remembered about one of the features where you flew on mega Latias or Latios. Just one of those things where Gamefreak introduces for one generation and forgets it the next.

I have not! But that sounds super cool! Was it forever flying, and not like the gliding we see in PLA and S/V? Cause that would be fantastic

I think you can catch Latias and Latios in S/V at least. Now we just gotta bang on the door until they let us fly on them
