Surprise #3.

Bella has really embraced the lifestyle that living in town has given her. Her and Persimmon love riding through town, saying hello to the Sims who have started to inhabit the town again.

She never did figure out why it was so empty before, and Mortimer won't tell her what he knows.

Oh well. Mortimer is an excellent nectar-maker, and Bella loves helping him "taste test". He's been working hard every day to produce as many bottles as possible, but again, he won't say why. Bella is starting to get a little suspicious.

But then Mortimer escorts her to the stables for a little fun, and she has definitely forgotten about it.

The night before the big surprise, Bella, Mortimer and Sienna cowpoked all night.

And worked in the morning. Bella had no idea what was in store.

Finally, it was reveal time. Mortimer was so nervous. Even though he was pretty sure everything would be amazing, he was still scared that Bella might get scared and run. She already agreed to marry him, so this should be easy, right?

They walked downtown and met up with a few friends in front of this new building that had been being built since right after they moved in. It was a large, beautiful building, and Bella was eager to check it out.

Standing in front before they went inside, Mortimer held her chin in his hand and said, "it's all yours, Bella".

Bella was confused. What was it?

"It's a nectary", Mortimer explained. "I had it built for you. I've been making wine all day every day to sell here, with you. It's called The Goth Family Nectary, so I'm hoping that this evening, we'll become family. Bella, will you get married to me right now?"

All Bella could think to say is that they couldn't get married dressed like this. Mortimer, who always thinks of everything, told Bella he found the wedding gown that she sewed all those years ago when she was still living up on the bluff, and he had brought it for her.

Bella rushed to put it on.

The wedding was beautiful, and the two felt more in love than ever.

The Proposal.

Surprise #1: Mortimer commissioned a new home for Bella.

Surprise #2: Mortimer proposes to Bella.

Not surprisingly, she says yes. Mortimer carries her over the threshold of their new home.

Preparing for the Future.

After a beautiful night spent making woohoo love to Mortimer, Bella is fueled to get out there and sell her best stuff so that she and Mortimer can build their life together.

When out of nowhere, this creep just starts giving her a massage?

No sir. Just let me work.

Lucky for Bella, Mortimer is on his way to hang out with her while she works.

A few days later, Bella meets this "Mysterious Rancher" who has offered to purchase her nectar, but when she agrees, he throws a "suggestive look" her way, so she runs back to the farmer's market to keep making those simoleons.

Mortimer to the rescue!

Okay, back to work. The goat's milk won't sell itself, you know!

Back at the ranch, Mortimer asks Bella if she would like for them to live together. Of course she says yes!

But he has a few surprises in store!

Bella Wants More.

A year or so passes with Bella working hard on her woodworking sculptures, wine-making, and frog breeding. She finally earns enough money to renovate her small home and purchase a real bed.

She and Mortimer see each other weekly and have become good friends. But something is stirring inside Bella and she decides she wants more.

She catches him out strolling through her neighborhood one evening. She grabs his hands, looks deep into his eyes and says "por se gab lurv", which of course means, I love you.

Mortimer is in utter shock for a moment, then softens and says that he has loved her since the night they spent stargazing together, sharing his dreams that other Sims usually laugh at.

Bella asks him to be her boyfriend.

He couldn't be any happier.

Oh, wait. Yes he can.

Much happier.

Mortimer.

Bella heads out to her favorite fishing spot with Persimmon early in the morning to catch fish for the day.

And to her surprise, there is Mortimer, in the cold weather getting ready to jump into the river.

Bella's heart starts to pound and her knees started to shake. She doesn't know why this Sim has this effect on her. She awkwardly gives him finger guns.

Bella had to get home quickly to eat (lest she drop dead on the spot), but invited Mortimer to stop by after his swim.

To her surprise, her took her up on the offer.

They seemed to have an amazing compatibility right at the start. With absolutely nothing in common with each other, they were able to talk about just about anything. He even cracked a few jokes!

As they prepared to say goodbye, Bella had an idea. What if Mortimer could give her a small loan so that she can sell her collectibles and outfits at the weekly farmer's market?

Mortimer was happy to help.

Bella packed up her collectibles and garments and rode down to talk to the Cowboy about getting everything set up.

The neighborhood still looked completely empty, but Bella decided to give it a try anyway.

She didn't even have any competition!

Finally, a few customers showed up and bought a few things. This is turning out to be fun!

But the sales pitch didn't work out so well.

In the end, she made just over $400, almost enough to pay Mortimer back. She couldn't wait to see him again, and this would be the perfect excuse.

Back home, she runs into him while he's out on one of his walks and repays the loan.

Later that evening, looking up at the stars, he tells her of his plans of one day becoming a great scientist who discovers life on other planets.

Bella thought that was pretty exciting and invited him inside.

Going Into Town.

Bella rode as fast as Persimmon could go to speak to the Cowboy. She told him she was beginning to see more Sims throughout the neighborhood, but she was afraid she wasn't fitting in as well as she liked.

She tries to sleep during the day and go fishing for food at night, but sometimes she needs to get out during the day. Being seen in the same ripped clothes everyday is very suspicious.

He was annoyed, but she made a good point.

He instructed her to go back to the abandoned shed in the woods. Inside she would find a closet with an old-fashioned sewing machine inside and some old fabrics she could try to use.

He also told her how to construct a clothes line, and how to use an old bucket and washboard to clean the fabric and clothes. He even gave her some garment washing soap.

She was so excited to get started!

Bella raced home, got everything she needed all set up, and sat down to draw out her first pattern.

Then she was finally ready to sew.

After a few months, Bella got quite good at sewing simple outfits, and she feels so much better.

Who is that in the distance walking around at midnight? Bella thinks now might be the perfect time to go say hi.

But she chickened out at the last minute.

But she just feels drawn to him.

The Homestead.

After weeks of back-breaking work, Bella finally built shelter for her and Persimmon. She's pretty sure she's never worked so hard in her life, and she's also pretty sure she's never had to lift a finger either.

Either way, she's super proud.

And exhausted.

She's not great at riding Persimmon just yet, but it's so nice to be able to get to the good fishing spots and back home much quicker.

She really does love it, though!

Bella is ripped! Must be all that hard manual labor she's had to do.

Uh oh! Bella was just spotted! Hopefully he wasn't paying attention to her, but you never know. She decided she needs to go back into town to talk to the Cowboy again to see what she should do next.

But what is it about that man? She feels like she must have known him before, but that's silly.

The Adventure.

Bella decides that today is the day she needs to start looking for more Sims. The old woman can't be the only one. Even though she is scared, Bella heads out in search of - anything.

After many hours, she finds an old, abandoned town. There isn't a single Sim around, and every store and house are empty.

Suddenly, she's confronted by a horse!

A few minutes later, a man dressed as a cowboys comes up to say hello.

Bella can't believe that she can understand him! It feels like ages since she last heard someone speak.

He seems kind, but suddenly he lowers his voice and tells Bella that she needs to leave this town as soon as possible. To go back up the mountain where she has been staying, and stay hidden until she is able to build a home and become a member of society. He goes on to say that the townspeople will not believe she is one of them, and they will harm her.

He offers her a horse from the stable and tells her to be on her way.

He tells her how to find an abandoned shed that has some basic supplies to help her get through to hard times she is going to endure for the next few years while she gets her life in order.

She has to be quick though, and make sure she's not seen by anyone.

She finds the shed, and with the help of her borrowed horse, Persimmon, they haul the supplies and building materials back to her home base.

She's so excited to have a shower and an actual mattress to sleep on, she jumps up and down and can't wait to use them.

But first, she's going to have to build a shelter.

Bella decides it's best to try fishing again.

After a few hours, she gets lucky with a fish and even found an old, abandoned out house.

Yeah, that wasn't worth it.

Yes, she caught herself on fire again, but the thick layer of stench that is covering her body added an extra layer of protection.

She's sure that this fish will make it to her mouth this time.

Success!!

Time to go skinny dipping again to see if she can get cleaned up. Bella hopes it rains again tonight so she can shower in it.

Seriously, Bella. I know no one is around, but usually you take off your clothes by the river, not the mountain top.

But without soap, it didn't do much for her anyway.

Bella looks up and sees another Sim! She thought she was all alone in this world, but this old lady can surely help her.

Bella runs up to her to say hello, but they don't speak the same language. Bella had never heard this language, which really scared her. She must be so far from the home she can no longer remember.

The old woman is frightened by Bella and refuses to help.

Bella decides it's best to forget about the old woman and focus on getting food and shelter.

But she can't stop thinking about her and where in the world she could possibly be.

No Way Out.

As Bella wanders around, what looks to be like the only way out of this place, is now completely broken. Unsure of what to do, Bella starts to look for food and shelter.

But of course, it starts to rain.

Whatever. Maybe she can find something in this old log.

A frog. Of course there was a frog in there. At least Bella now has someone she can talk to.

Bella finds a nice tree that can provide a little shelter for the things she's found. Two fossils, a wine barrel ("I wonder if I should start a vineyard with all those grape bushes I saw", Bella wondered), some old cardboard, and of course her new frog she named Mortimer.

Back over to the log, Bella is hoping to find something to eat until the grapes are ready for foraging.

But no such luck. Just another Frog.

However, looking toward the river she sees an abandoned fishing pole and decides to give it a try. The fish are literally jumping around the surface, so how hard could it be?

Pretty damn hard.

It's 10:00 and Bella starts to feel like she's never going to eat until she finally feels a tug on the line.

Bella runs through the night desperately trying to get to the camp fire she saw earlier in the day before she actually starves to death.

After what felt like forever, she finally got the campfire lit, only to light herself on fire in the process. Thank goodness it's raining.

She finally gets it lit and puts the walleye on a stick and roasts it to perfection, only to drop it in the flames and lose it all.

Nature's Revenge.

Bella felt proud when she proudly plucked some produce and started munching away. Decimated and devoured, the vindictive vegetables made their final stand, waging war on her digestive track.

She really wishes she had a toilet right now!

Desperate and starving once again, she tries her luck with a potato she found.

Please. Don't. Kill. Me.

Uuuuhhhh. Probably shouldn't have done that.

Time to wash off in the river.

The Bella Goth Story. In a completely blank world with no Sims, Bella Goth once again found herself removed from the world she once knew, but can now no longer remember. She wakes up in a strange land with no one around, wearing clothes she is certain she has never seen before (and would have never chosen) that are tattered and torn. She reaches up to scratch her head and can feel that her hair has been chopped short. What the hell??
