6x10- Octavia watching Bellamy and Clarke

Was I the only one bawling in this scene? Not because of Bellarke but because of Octavia.

Here she was, watching Bellamy pump the life into the woman he loves and she know he loves. The helplessness he felt, Octavia had already felt with Lincoln. She saw that same helplessness in Bellamy.

And when Clarke came back to life wrapping her arms around Bellamy, Octavia was smiling but she was still crying.

She never got that with Lincoln. He never came back and wrapped his arms around her. He never was coming back.

She was never going to get that.

6x09 parallel to Bellamy loving Clarke

When Bellamy was in the cave with Jo!Clarke, she started talking to him about the flaws of her father and why he doomed their home:

“All that time spent building a sanctuary for the human race, and he destroys it because of the most human thing of all—love.”

After she says this, the camera pans to Bellamy on “love”— not only to reference his feelings towards Clarke but because that is EXACTLY what he did. He ruined their chance, his friends of five years and girlfriend of 3’s chance, 400+ people’s chance due to his wants to save Clarke —driven by love.

He ruined the possibility to ever create a home for his friends and people on the ship. All for one person that he loves: Clarke

I try to ignore arguments online nowadays but I feel like addingmy two cents here:

There is no definitive proof of Bob cheating/Eliza cheating. She broke up with William after five months of dating and Bob broke up with Arryn in January. Arryn said she felt betrayed in a podcast and her mom liked a tweet talking about Bob being a cheater. Arryn has not called him a cheater. Arryn unfollowing Eliza and deleting photos is nothing new— they have been doing this shit for 2+ years now. You can’t go on a limb and slander someone as a cheater when you have no proof whatsoever. It just makes you look hateful and ignorant.

Now about the B*cho v. Bellarke:

I obviously ship Bellarke but the OP did point out bad things both parties did on both sides and not come out with a bias. It’s a fact that B*cho is not surrounded by co-leadership and saying that it is— is a complete lie. Echo has fought peace with violence even when she had peace. This is not me hating on her character (she gives me Lincoln/Indra vibes which I love) but these actions she put on to Bellamy. He trusted her in entirety and she blew up a mountain filled with kids, women and men because they decided to reside there? When they had peace? And contiously tried to drive Roan to kill them despite having peace and had the nerve to ask Bellamy if he could trust her after having a knife to his throat.

I just read a post where someone claimed B*cho was not only healthier than Bellarke but contained more of a co leadership. I’m guessing that they honest to god, do not watch the show.

In season 2. Echo and Bellamy did not co lead at all. In season 4 Bellamy and echo did not co lead at all. From what we have seen in space, the span of 5 years echo and Bellamy did not co lead at all, we have it confirmed that for 3 years they did not talk/ dodged eachother because he could not forgive her for what she had done to them. In season 5 they did not co lead at all— he divided a plan and everyone followed. So far in season 6 they did not co lead at all. Hell, the mission was agreed upon by CLARKE AND BELLAMY.

Whereas Clarke and Bellamy have co lead since season 1. From going to find jasper, bringing back food, interrogation, negotiating peace, rationing food, weapon mission and the list goes on. That entire season was them co leading. Season 2’s entire mountain mission was based up Clarke’s and Bellamy’s plan to infiltrate the mountain. And when they reunited they were LITERALLY ALREADG DIVISING PLANS TO SAVE THEIR PEOPLE. End of season 2 is Bellamy begging for Clarke to stay. But of course he respects her, he lets her find her own path despite her breaking the vow of together. Season 3 starts with Bellamy trying to fucking find Clarke are you KIDDING ME he risks going through a field of soldiers to find her, lets not forget his happy smile okay? She stopped fighting FOR HIM TO LIVE. Mid season 3 they resolve their issues as Clarke apologizes for 2 episodes. They get right back on track where they CO LEAD AGAIN. Raven even points out how tightly knit and devoted he is to Clarke compared to other people in his life-compared to Gina. He removed her from the room when Allie taunted her as she mended his wounds. He protected her in polis, holding her hand for comfort as they inserted the chip and he fought to his near death for HER to pull the lever like they did in season 2. Season 3 ends with Clarke telling him first that the world was going to end, SEASON 4 STARTS WITH BELLAMY AND CLARKE TOGETHER FINDINF OUT WHATS GOING ON. THE ENTIRE SEASON IS THEM TOGETHER TRYING TO FIND A WAY OUT. DESPITE BETRAYING OCTAVIA THEY RESOLVED THEIR ISSUES. Hell he crashed a fucking car cause she smiled at him. The entire last episode was dedicated to her and him as well as the entire group working together as ECHO PREPAIRED A RITUAL TO KILL HERSELF. SEASON 5 WAS BELLAMY SAVING CLARKE AND ENDED WITH THEM WORKING TOGETHER. NOT BY ECHOS HAND BUT BY MADI AND OCTAVIAS. THE DAUGHTER FIGURES OF THEIR LIVES. SEASON 6 IS LEGIT BELLAMY SAVING CLARKE ONCE AGAIN AND THEM CO LEADERINF SINCE EPISODE 1.

Clarke:

Betrayed her vow of “together” twice to find her own path and bear the burden of killing 300 people with Bellamy (and she still gets all the shit for it) and the second time to keep peace at polis

Electrocuted him because he was about to ruin any chance of peace they had in which he forgave her in the middle of season 3 (both apologized for their actions and reconciled)

Left his sister and the grounders outside to save themselves because she was told by JAHA, a parental figure to her, that was the right thing to do for her people (let’s remember earlier in the past episodes her alliances with roan and trikru were betrayed. It was her people or nothing now)

Left Bellamy in polis and turned him in. She did this for her daughter Madi and made up for it by saving everyone (including echo!) and apologizing every single day. After it being revealed that Bellamy “gave up on her” she was willing to give up her life for him and everyone to live in peace

Echo:

Didn’t bother to speak to Lexa about the good Bellamy did for her despite them being on opposing sides in season 2.

Emotionally manipulated Bellamy in season 3 by destroying an alliance between skaikru and the rest of the grounders as well as killing children,women and his own girlfriend in the mountain because they decided to inhabit it?

Constantly threatened him even in moments of peace. And never sought to resolve issues in peace (as to roan and Clarke who try) and when she slightly asks for forgiveness she either has a knife to his throat or just had a knife to his throat

Played dirty in the conclave trying to assasinate his sister. (Lets not forget him CHOKING HER)

Oh I forgot to add instead of disarming Octavia, or slicing her thighs or knees, she decides to stab her and not even prevent her from falling down the fucking ravine.

What the fuck even. But hey B*cho is healthier.

After watching this recent episode. This is all I gotta say:

Bellamy was really out here crying the entire episode over Clarke.

His mind was on Clarke the entire episode while Echo could have been god KNOWS WHERE around all of these delusional and crazy people.

Yet his mind was on Clarke and how he was going to get revenge.

Not on echo, Raven, emori or anyone else in the gang.

Just Clarke.

Clarke’s main focus on bringing herself back is pin pointed on Lexa and BELLAMY. When she wakes up, those are the FIRST FACES SHE SEES TO GET HER ASS BACK ON TRACK.

I have to say this is the most platonic episode I have ever seen.

Bellamy decides to stand next to Clarke out of ALL people. And he does it without looking at her too—as if he didn’t want her to know that he wanted to stand right there. With a person he had the most trust in during that time.

She started growing on Bellamy and you could see it here.Out of all the shit that has happened, Clarke was the only one who understood him and tried to see the good in him.

Previously in the episode, she catches him off guard after chastising him for throwing the radio. They are angry at Bellamy for risking the lives of hundreds for his own selfish endeavors. Raven and Finn want vengeance and Clarke just tells him this: “You did what you had to do to protect your sister, THATS who you are.” And tried to confide in his humanity and empathy all through out despite his actions.

I honestly believe if she had never said that, they wouldn’t have the growing relationship they have now. Bellamy would have never walked up next to her and they would of never had this moment.

AND THE WAY SHE LOOKS BACK AT HIM.

Captain Marvel: Movie Discussion and Analysis

I’m just going to jump right in because it’s A LOT:

PROS:

Goose:

Wow, an amazing character. He legit didn’t say one word and he is my absolute favorite. I hope he makes a reappearance in Avengers: Endgame, as well as meet groot. They would definitely hit it off.

The other two amazing characters were Nick Fury and Talos. Both played off eachother well and just made my tummy twist with love

The addition of Coulson was a cheering moment for me. Love that baby

The CGI for her star/photon powers. The blue colors were unique and nice. Props to whoever handled that

Carols goofiness in the beginning. It died off though, I enjoyed it while it lasted

CONS:

I honestly thought Captain Marvel was going to be worse. Not saying it’s not that bad, I still think it’s bad. But, before you captain marvel fans go about to skip this post because it doesn’t appeal to your feelings, hear me out.

Inconsistency With The Tesseract& Political Agenda:

The Kree has been at war with Skrulls for years. Why you may ask? I-I have no idea. If anyone would like to fill me in on that, I would gladly appreciate it.

The kree are after the tesseract. But why, may you ask? They utterly confuse you as to WHY they need it. They are doing this for: Thanos (the space stone) and themselves, to stop the Skrulls from infiltrating their “border”.

I say Thanos because the people which Jude Law (his character was so bland, I couldn’t be bothered to remember his name) report to Are his minions. They want the tesseract for the soul stone, we know this because that’s how Thanos gets the soul stone.

How will the Kree use the tesseracts power of Thanos has it? Inconsistency in writing.

The Kree were never going to use it to “patrol their borders” that was politically added.

They said “this will help control the borders to keep those Skrulls out” a reflection on extreme right-wingers ideologies.

Not too long before, Carol and Talos we’re having a fight.

And then he says, I shit you not, “we are refugees! We are trying to find a home! Our families are scattered throughout the universe!”

The universe is a reflection of the world today. Refugees families reside everywhere, from North America (obviously), South America, Asia and so forth.

This addition not only confused the audience with why they wanted the tesseract, but added a huge layer of politics. I just KNEW, I just KNEW they would add politics into this.

And when they arrive on Mar-Vells laboratory, it furthers deeper.

Talos is running around the ship, we think for the tesseract, but in reality it’s for his family.

Carol says something along the lines of, “it turns out he didn’t care for the engine, he wanted to reunite with his family” and this is largely emphasized.

This is a reflection on families meeting against after being separated. The idea that refugees or immigrants aren’t here to capitalize on USA endeavors, but come together with their families.

Border control is a sensitive topic, my cousins were immigrants and I cannot be bothered with Hollywood thinking they know everything about border control.

Carol’s Amazing Control of Her Powers:

How the fuck can she control her powers? Seriously, how the fuck can she?

From when she came back onto Earth, she only had her powers for 6 years. The intelligence said that her powers were so bad and uncontrollable, that they had to suppress it. That is why she only shot beams and jumped real high.

Hell, in the visions we just see how uncontrollable it is. She blasts her beams and it comes back to her, here she has no control over the full CAPACITY of the energy inside her.

Her realizing that her being “human” (I doubt she is due to her blandness) is what makes her strong. But that doesn’t equal total control of your powers.

I don’t like captain marvel, that’s obvious but I’ll admit that she is pretty fucking powerful. That much power isn’t easily controlled after 3 seconds.

Somehow she is able to control shooting photons, actual star energy into a large mass, nearly like a supernova, exerting it, and then reverting it? I’m sorry no.

And when she fell from the sky she literally spent 5 seconds closing her eyes and then was able to fly. The amount of energy that it requires to focus on flying is a lot. How do you master it that fast? It would have been nice to see her struggling. In smallville, Clarke always struggles to control his powers despite having them for 15+ years. Scarlett witch struggles, Wonderwoman struggles, Thor struggles, NEARLY EVERYONE STRUGGLES.

But hey, captain Marvel is 150% OP. And not the good kind.

Lines That Didn’t Make Sense + Taken:

“War” says the pilot Steve Trevor. Mar-Vell kindly interrupts him, “to end all wars”. It was like the writers couldn’t think of anything original. They even have Maria Rambeau say, “Its basic Physics” doing a slight head tilt and smile, just like Monty from the 100. They both were also munching on a light snack. Like how-

Not only does it not help them due to the fact that there was also a military pilot involved in Wonder Woman, but they repeatedly rephrased this quote. I was just turned off by that.

“You’re communicator, you obviously cannot be trusted”

Um? He had to call SHIELD? They already saw them arrive and ask for files on Lawson. And he knew the situation they were in, they were being detained. He wanted control over the situation so he called SHIELD to make it seem like he arranged this (they were already on their way) so they would at least have a chance.

And then she still lets him get on the plane with all giggles? What? That scene was not needed, it made no sense.

Carol wants to change the colors of her suit because she doesn’t want to be associated with the Kree but she still has their logo? Colors mean nothing if you still have their symbol. I-

Feminism:
