Ive headcanon kaeya as 26 but dont know if thats right either, its a silly question i would just find it funny if Ewald who is probably 20 something has been beefing with a 19 yr old girl this entire time😭😭 also do you think well get a rf update this year again? Not a silly question at all! Tbh I've been hesitant to answer this because the game never confirmed Kaeya's or other characters' age. But she is younger than Kaeya. In my head, she's recently turned 18 and Kaeya's maybe 22 or 23. If he's older, then MC is indeed 19 or 20😭 Also keep in mind that Ilya didn't propose marriage up until recently in the story because, well, she was a minor (if same age of consent is applied in Teyvat).

And yes, Ewald was beefing with someone significantly younger than him LMAO

i wanna guess which parts pulled a reaction out of you, and may i say my top guess is the part where *spoiler?* Heishi and MC kiss? because while that scene was planned, it wasn’t supposed to go that way. (hint: the kiss was symbolism more than anything tbh)

i also hope you liked a lot of MC & Kaeya scenes!! in a writer’s perspective, they weren’t shocking worthy but i still try my best to make their interactions leave an impact lol

fun fact if anyone ever reads things off this blog:

the very first draft of Chapter 13 doesn’t involve them fighting. more of talking it out in his office, and then some tears. that was what was in the original outline. but i had to dump it because it didn’t feel right. so i had to agonize over what factor was missing. and then i figured it out—it was the fact that they weren’t fighting 😭 it’s not MC & Kaeya if they’re not at least fighting over something as big as this LMAOOOOOOOOO they had to somewhat clash over it
