Life on the road has been beyond incredible, better than we could have ever imagined. We've held part time jobs, climbed mountains, biked trails, watched sunsets, shared meals with new friends, canoed with alligators, engaged in wonderful conversation with those much wiser than us, kayaked to an island, and allowed ourselves to be free. In an instant our world changed. Death brought us back home, to IL much sooner than we expected. We have yet to hit the road again because well, life is too short to waste it rushing to the next task or place. We will take this time to enjoy our friends and family. To soak up the love and warmth of those we rarely see while on the road. To grieve with those who know us best and love us at our worst. To celebrate all memories old and new- like the wedding of our dear friends, Jenny and Anthony. These people right here have helped shape us into bellinghambybus. They are true supporters through and through. They believe in us, no matter how crazy or unconventional our ideas are. They encourage us when times get tough and cheer to our successes. They love with their whole hearts and dance like wild animals. When the time is right we will hit the road with Lady Buster, but for now- we are living in the moment, the here and now, and you know what... it feels pretty damn good.

Typically, we practice the art of procrastination... but this past week we have been killin' it with our project completions. The pots and pans fit perfectly on our kitchen wall, providing us with more space within #LadyBuster.

Fresh is the best! Today we helped Shauna's mom @lynnaeb65 trim her herbs and make some peppermint extract. Sunshine, family bonding, and experimenting- what a great afternoon! (at The Bell's)

Yesterday we started a full-on clean out of #LadyBuster. With all of our items nicely laid out on the lawn, a torrential downpour put a stop to our cleaning spree and led to a fun night full of pizza and movies in the bus. Today, we took full advantage of the sunshine- a little bit of cleaning and a whole lot of sprinkler play with our nephew. Look for the good in all things unplanned. #lookforthegood #getoutside #skoolie #buslife

Our first stay in a primitive area. Needless to say, we are in love and plan to do more primitive camping in the future. #wyomingistheshit (at Medicine Bow National Forest)

Throughout our four months on the road we have continued re-evaluating our "plans for the future". While we have many ideas in the mix, one thing we know for certain is that we plan to hit up more remote areas for exploration and appreciation of this gorgeous U.S. landscape. Our past two nights were spent at Medicine Bow National Forest in Wyoming. Wyoming, you have taken our breathes away and will forever have a place in our hearts. #getoutandexplore (at Medicine Bow National Forest)

Cedar Key, Florida: Sunset Isle RV Park
Hello Friends!  I’m coming to you from the sweet confines of our bus, Lady Buster.  We are currently on our way to Boulder, CO… getting ready to spend the weekend with one of my (Shauna) cousins and get some much needed down time as we have been on the road since April 11th. After that, we will head to Walden, Colorado to work camp at Clark Peak Cabins in the rockies for six months! But first, I…

Lady Buster: Our Starter Home
Hello Friends!
Zach and I have been inspired by a company called Compass to share with you the story of our first starter home.  Compass is a new real estate service that helps people find their perfect neighborhood by utilizing the interests and personalities of those they serve.  Finding a new home can sometimes be overwhelming, and even a bit nasty.  However, it is Compass’s goal to provide…
