I wasn’t sure it’d arrive on time because I was so perplexed about what piece of jewelry I could give you that would somehow be meaningful though we barely know one another. Then, I had a thought. Someone here once told me that they wished to be a bird so they could fly away from their troubles, soar up to the clouds, and come back down to rest after one good and happy day. That’s something I want for you, Delilah. To have that glorious day where you soar and sing, and no one can stop you. So, I splurged on this necklace and I hope I haven’t fumbled greatly in doing so. So it seems I have once more left you the gift of food. It wasn’t my intent to only get you food. It just happens that along with the your favorite candy the other gift I have given you were the only things that I felt would remind you the most of your homeland. I myself am half English with my father’s family coming from England during my grant-grandfather’s generation. It is with great pleasure that I am able to share a family recipe for Shepherd’s  Pie. For dessert I ordered extra of one of your favorite candy Crunchie in order to make this yummy Crunchie cheesecake. I do hope it’s to your liking. Enjoy and Happy Valentine’s Day.

With my cooking skills not the best–sure I can make some mean sugar cookies but chili not my thing–I thought it best to just get you all the ingredients that you’ll need to make chili. I’m even throwing in the pot and ladle. Now all you need is some good company, a bottle of wine, a sweet dessert and you’ll have yourself a good night. Oh! wait I wasn’t done yet. I’m throwing in the bottle of wine or two and a sweet dessert as well. Enjoy!
