It’s both a blessing and a curse, being naught but 5’3” – and currently, she was stuck having to deal with that cursed side of that coin. Lips pursed, bright golden hues glued to a tome that was on the top-most shelf. She had been relatively surprised to find even a single copy of the exceedingly rare book at the Thunderbird and Whale as is. Maybe she shouldn't have been, considering it was dedicated to the culture and history of La Push.

Granted, she could always grab the shopkeeper; he seemed busy enough as is, however. Perhaps…it simply wasn’t meant to be.

Lorelei turned on her heels, several other books clutched to her chest, feet carrying her silently across old floorboards. Defeat was evident enough in her expression. Shoulders slumped just as she’d fully given up hope.
