aside from my original gripes the rewatch made it flow more fluid and like. Yeah this season was fire high key. i miss you alr soyona. also love the small crossovers w dominion i never thought id see it

Okay I may be reading this entirely wrong, but the little shift in the Handler’s expression is so interesting in this scene after her scrap with Soyona, where Soyona tells Brooklyn that “the Handler tried to kill you. time to even the score”

When she’s looking at Soyona, her former boss who took her raptors away from her, who has had nothing but rebukes and contempt for her all season, and is now ordering her execution, her expression is hard. She’s still catching her breath, yes, but beneath that, her expression is severe and angry

Then she looks over at Brooklynn

She looks at Brooklynn and her expression drops. There’s something vulnerable in it now. Brooklynn, who she’s tried to kill three times now. Brooklynn, who helped her find her raptors, who sympathised with her, who told her they could take down Soyona together, but then it was all a set up. Brooklynn, who tried to throw her out of the truck and into a firefight. Who she didn’t help when she was trapped by the rubble. Who now stands beside Soyona

Idk that subtle little shift is just so incredibly interesting to me and a testament to the characterisation and animation in this show

The kenlynn breakup actually still makes me feel so violently ill wdym he still loved her but had to break up bc he couldn’t handle going through that sort of emotional neglect again

Wdym she wasn’t even being all that unreasonable for keeping him out of the loop bc of how much the case was spiraling and the group’s existing trauma from being hunted n her parinoia around being wrong

Wdymmm Brooklynn thinks the breakup was bc Kenji wanted her to be someone she isn’t and Kenji still doesn’t know why Brooklynn did that to him
