are your drawings with what looks like an acrylic paint texture actually acrylic or is it digital brushes!?? it looks organic enough to be traditional art but the colors and backgrounds are incredibly clean. do you just devote a bit extra time to edit the scans to be higher quality?

it's acrylic! I almost never use textured brushes. When I do digital art, it usually looks distinctively digital (pixel-brushes, airbrush-tool, etc). After scanning my drawings (especially character-art with no bg), i sometimes add a solid colour as a background with the bucket tool, but the artwork itself stays mostly unedited, save for a little bit of adjusting contrasts to make the scan look more like irl.
