Benzo Jones was born on a Craps Table in the Sands Hotel of Las Vegas. His 20’s were spent as a Disc Jockey. Many people danced to 80’s and 90’s songs that generated from his fingertips. He heard “Funky Cold Medina” a record 1,892 times, and still can’t remember the words. He moved to the Northern California area, and engaged in a far more respectable career as a Record Store Manager. Well known for his knowledge of superficial music, he is also known for his torturing of Customers with the “Chipmunks Christmas Song”. The Hear Music chain tapped him to open their stores throughout the country. He was moved to Boston to be a buyer. His specialties were Kids, and New Age Music. After buying a thousand copies of the “Hualipai Indians Sing Songs for Kids”, he was dismissed. He then became a Toys R Us manager, and he decided to return to Las Vegas. He determined that was not a career but a lengthy descent into hell on Hot Wheels tracks. After working for a show ticket business and ascending to a VP position working for the friggin gnome (travelocity), he decided it was time to work for himself. The gnome will do that to you. Currently, he designs web sites and markets them to the world.

Clarification -- Despite a misguided Facebook Status update at 4am -- my demise is being greatly exaggerated. I did get blindsided by an amazingly nasty thing described by the ER doctor as "the crud that lasts 3 weeks" (an ominous name if ever there was one) -- But I am physically ok... well mostly. My voice is shot in a Brenda Vacarro meets Joan Rivers and Gilbert Gottfried kinda way... not pretty. I have no appetite. I've lost the weight of my left arm, and I can't sleep for more than 30 minutes consecutively. Yet I did manage to work today, and will again tomorrow. I will be glad when the crud is gone. Trust me, if I was in imminent danger my narcissistic self would not allow that opportunity to slip by.... For now -- I'm fine.
