i'm so proud of how far you've come!

I've no idea who this is - but thank you for this. Compared to years ago, I'm in such a good place. I moved out of my abusive mother's this summer, into my first apartment with my boyfriend Gabe, the love of my life. I live a soft and happy life now. I'm safe. I have legal custody of my niece and nephew and am so proud to be a parent to them, firm in my confidence of being their role model. I work in childcare, and finally have career goals, I want to be a kindergarten/first grade teacher someday. I somehow stumbled into childcare almost two years ago and it was so serendipitous. I see and talk to my friends all the time. I have the movie and toy collection I always dreamed of. I replaced things long lost. I'm in therapy, getting better all the time. Making peace with the past. Thank you. I have come so far, and I'm proud of me, too.
