may 5th 2020 — hi, here’s a little update: i started yet another book, daughter of the forest, by juliet marillier and i’m really enjoying it so far. i started reading it last year or two years ago i think and only managed to read 88 pages, so i’ve started it from the beginning now and i’m glad i did because i enjoy it more than i did before. also, had a little dissociative episode earlier this afternoon and i’m still a little out of it, kinda out of my body, and i have a cold, so today isn’t a really great day. but that’s okay. it happens. thank goodness there are books to distract us, don’t you think? i did manage to be productive this morning though, i filmed a few videos for my online classes. but i have to admit that this whole situation is starting to be stressful, as we don’t really know whether we’re going back to school or not. i have a zoom meeting tomorrow with my boss and colleagues, hopefully we’ll know more about our situation.
anyway. i hope y’all are doing okay! sending lots of good vibes your way!

04.10.2019: 34 / 100 days of productivity
My peers thought I was crazy for already watching classes online and typing them out during summer holidays, but I’m glad I did it. Now I can get to the actual studying a lot sooner, so I’ll hopefully be less stressed during my finals.

saturday mornings were created so you can catch up on all the work you didn’t do during the week because you were too busy watching friends.

Drinking black coffee and studying John Milton’s Paradise Lost for my Explorations exam in May. This Satan character seems pretty cool.

Throwback 1 (March 27th 2020)
Feeling very unmotivated and distracted today. Possibly have only one more week of quarantine so I really need to get my shit together.

My month so far📚
Add me on forest 🌳🌱
I have had a tonne of assignments and many hours where I forgot to plant a tree 🌳
I think it’s time I buy some new trees 🌱🌞✨

had a pretty great start to finals season today. spent most of the day programming but also
read A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman
drank at least 2 pots of Japanese green tea—it’s practically fuelling me through the final stretch of the semester
created a rough plan for my week
made some illustrations
started watching Voltron

ig: herdrafts
Despite being forced to stay inside my apartment, I luckily got my book mail before this mess started and I’m enjoying my currently readings all day long. I started with If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio, I wanted to take a break from classics and complex readings with a fast paced and intriguing mystery. I like underline and write down after sentences and words I’ve found fascinating and full of poetry for my own writing exercise.

ig: herdrafts I usually study languages in the mornings at the weekend, I have more time to focus on learning and I also have more alone-time which I often do crave. My routine is almost the same; after making coffee and had breakfast I open my textbook and I start writing down the new lesson. This time I decided that I had to study Japanese, also I wanted to watch some subtitled anime episodes for listening practice. Don’t you think that Japanese sounds really cute?
