HIKIKOMORI

Has long and widely been used in its verb form - HIKIKOMORI - within Japanese society. Hikikomoru is a compound verb made up of the 2 characters for 'to pull back ' (hiku) and ' to seclude oneself ' (komoru). In this way, individuals who have withdrawn from the group, in particular, school/workplace; for days, weeks, and months, spend most of the day within their home.

The phenomenon more recently has been widely reported occurs in many other countries. In the latter half of the 1990s, come widely recognised under the term 'society withdrawal ' by T. Saito *.

(* A Japanese psychiatrist, published 'HIKIKOMORI - Adolescent without end'. Saito tentatively defined Hikikomori as a person who has ceased to go to school or work for more than 6 months and has stayed at home for most of this time.)

The failure of the society and social environment for acceptance is, for me, unbearable. It's not too much, consider the fact that people have it and live in it without realising it. Like I am. It's not like all of us are anti-social but the significant increase in society and social judgement towards Individual choices or perspectives may instantly shut the person (people) out, isolate themselves, not because they have fear or such, simply they sense the rejection.

It hurts.

Everyone needs a sense of acceptance; in the family, community, workplace, relationships, etc. The sense of they belongs to something, someone, the sense that they exist, matter, that they are something. Without any terms and conditions. Those who are suffering the deep rejection or refusal end up isolating themselves or in hikikomori mode.

Is it bad? Depends. From one's standpoint is not the same. People who have no issues with hikikomori may smirk and be sceptical. Those who understand will perhaps drop the judgement and let them deal with their own life, respect the boundaries, respect their choice.

So, what's the bottom line? Hikikomoru does exist and it's worldwide. Nowadays the culture is occupied by performers, who compete for attention. Hikikomori isn't just another phenomenon, it's one of the wake-up calls that tell us this stands in the world we are living in presently. Judgement smoothly forces the particular to be the plural.

Some kind of self-reminder and self-education of how substantial agree of disagree, boundary, drop the prejudice and welcome the diversity. I understand the hikikomori way of life, how they put themselves and set themselves to stay the way they desire; to pull back from society and be secluded. As I see the world is so dense; full of toxic and unhealthy stuff. Last but not least, if the school or even your family fail to teach you about respect, acceptance, boundaries or they don't even bother to teach you, teach yourself. Start from you and let your actions impact others.

MONEY IS IMPORTANT

Especially in relationship. Hell million times, yeah! Cliché, but true. Suppose that you’re a famous person, but (this word; but, is truly some kind like a nightmare, indicating negativity… hmm, sort of lol…) when you have NO money or less, I like to know, will the love stays? Or, better, will the one knock the front door?

            Assume that the love lies between you two, for how long? Lemme tell ya, saying I LOVE YOU is as easy as you’re breathing. Am I so cynical? Living in reality apparently making me being a true and a straightforward person (What a lovely nature of mine lol…). Back to the topic, define me LOVE! For me simply, especially now days, you’re just being with someone. Never aware of the responsibilities that follow.

Love, tend to be just the expressions of caring, being so happy with someone since that person giving you attention, care, or even, again, better, pay for your everything. This is what mostly happen, like it or not, it applies on both sides. Either for males and females.

            Imagine; oh no… this is the fact as well, two people were met, madly attracted to each other, hugging, kissing, and stuff, then… become a sweet couple (for now) and sending public message like together we conquer the world (you know how massive the emotion once you struck by cupid’s arrow).

Long story short…

Baby birth, daily expenses, maintain the flame (or it’ll change as time goes by and with each other busy lives), kids’ education, school, parenting, boundaries (or it may be no longer exist), babysit, (slowly no) couple quality time… do you need the whole complete list? I can give you, but this article ain’t only about that.

            Here’s my top point, the woman is expecting the man to provide the money, cover the household; so they feel and have the ‘save’, financially secure (aside from family members interfere and stuff >-<), for short to run a happy smooth life without too much obstacles. When, how the man provides things that may don’t meet the woman’s requirements, again, aside from the other family members interfere, chaos will soon easily arise.

            OK, let’s drop it. Those marriage or family stuff are way too far. But dear… even for Sunday movies require money for the tickets. When you have a cup of coffee or buying your love one a bar of chocolate, it requires some cash. Please do mind when you’re still asking some cash from your old man or even whining to your mom while you’re bragging about love and promise your dates and love ones the world in the other side.

OK. Again.

You have different pretty much the same situation, you’re not asking the cash from your parents or any guardians, fairies godmother you have, named it, but … if you have to still financially struggle for yourself or the money just enough for yourself, while your person is expecting you to be the ‘provider’, just do the math. Your person will leave you for someone better, ain’t new.

No matter financial situation you have which are pretty much the same and I only spot this on one particular, about money… just the money… And when you “FAIL”, what do you think the best scenario will come to the surface? Furthermore, the man incapability of doing the work, unable to earn money and rely on their lives only with the magic of love and waiting for the woman or anyone to support them, are like everywhere. Fishing vulnerable females with charm or just simply with their fake hilarious quotes, poets or sweet talk.

No matter you like it or not, it happens!

            Definitely, there are lots of factors in relationship, aside of money. As I said before, I talk about money now. Can you, consciously, think while I give you knowledge only about how money may play such huge role in a relationship, what about the others?

Believe me, I have zero interest writing this to scare you. It’s real, happens and still happening.

            Rethink, over and over. Are you BOTH truly ready to have a good and solid ever after (ok… fine… too much); let’s say, long term relationship while you expecting your person (or both sides) to cover up your financial life? It isn’t love. It’s like you’re setting up someone, there’s motive behind your love.

Then, here’s the scary and my question, can you just do your own work? Make your own financial security, independent. No matter you’re the male or the female.

            Frankly, widen your vision, acknowledge yourself about responsibilities in love, relationship, marriage and family. If you’re dare to admit, the world is full with the chaos started with the I love you stuff. Saying I love you, having a relationship, build a family are not easy for immature people (immaturity in physical, mental, and financial).

FAILURE OR NOT, YOU OWN YOUR LIFE!

Many, many times. I was and perhaps I am, keep thinking that I am a failure. At my almost 39, barely achieve nothing I can brag (this is not my nature. FYI), money to spend (not lavishly), nor giving my children best life they deserve.

            I can think and blame or even list, the long one; the longest you can ask me, but since it is not my nature; about me and my miserable life i have been through, rough years, the betrayals, dishonesties, yet I will just give you emotionless face with zipped mouth. Then I smile which is the best way I can show towards people.

In some points; in this very point, after days of locking myself in my 4x3 m room, I don’t give a damn shit anymore. Either I die trying, fail, try, fail and caught in the middle of nowhere, drag myself again with craziness. OR, I DIE OF DOING FUCKIN ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

            I can sell my sob stories and gain ones’ sympathy or even gain donation for my kids and make myself with no value. Literally no value! Playing victim; well hey, i have all the materials i need to make others pity on me, crying and begging for someone presence to wipe my tears or rub my (short, now) hair, drown myself at some parties, hanging out with some dudes and validate my unhappiness, feel free to add the menu in case you have the better melted life stories. Since I refuse, then I lift my ass out even with the hurt, pain and doubt. Yepz, doubt is the my powerfull killer at this very moment.

Ok, here are the points. THIS IS LIFE! THIS IS FUCKIN LIFE. Die trying or die for not doing any shit. Speak up or shut the hell your mouth shut.

            There are choices! Always. As long as you’re still on this earth. And the term of failure is always waiting in the other side (even closer than you can think of). Sucks? I can assure you, yeah of course! So? Here I tell you one thing, even in the joy, in the most joyful moments, don’t worry. There will be time life will serve you with the worst scenarios. Plural, dude! Not singular!

Then, are  you tired? Overwhelmed? You bet!

As I said, there’s or are some points where you just say, ‘Screw this shit, I am the one who can rock the boat. Ain’t this shit.’ I say, either I screw you or you screw me. I choose my own faith, I choose how I live. I choose to fight. I choose me.
