Sometimes i have to remind myself some things are not normal
It is not normal to spend your entire life walking on eggshells in your own home
It is not normal to be given the silent treatment for weeks at a time
It is not normal for family to constantly threaten you with homelessness
It is not normal to be completely isolated from both sides of your extended family
It is not normal for your mother to store her clothes and belongings in your room in preparation for the next time she gets kicked out of her room
It is not normal to take on the total responsibility of your mothers and sisters healthcare and manage their appointments and care
It is not normal to be the one responsible for getting your mother and sister out of an abusive home and finding a new place to stay
It is not normal for the daughter to parent the mother
