Jewel, 32, cis, she/her. Welcome to the world of a nerdy black girl. This is a blog where I discuss social justice, kpop, and anything else I find funny and/or interesting. Happy reading! Read my carrd!
$40 left to get the abortion pill in time (due to an assault a few weeks ago). Job training has been pushed back again 🙃. I'm dealing with pregnancy sickness but roman is feeling so much better! I'm trying to get this before i have to get the surgical procedure. I'm doing card tarot readings and @scarsofbeauty and @saturnpandora are doing art commissions.
sorry if this poll isnt comprehensive my wife is the biology buff not me. anyways. remaking my last ebegging post since our needs have changed but we are still in need of help.
i am on my period, which has drastically increased both my appetite (in spite of the lack of food or money i have) as well as my pain, fatigue and other more concerning chronic illness symptoms. having to continually beg piecemeal for a few bucks here or there to maybe get enough for one meal that we can sometimes stretch with leftovers is tedious and humiliating, especially bc of my OCD, ARFID and other dietary sensitivities making eating extremely expensive and difficult. its still going to be over a week until i get foodstamps, not that its even remotely close to enough to feed me, much less me and my wife, for a whole month. im hesitant to set a goal but any amount helps. if i can get close to $100 by tuesday i can get a few things to try and last us a bit longer until the stamps refill. folks can chip in via this, this, or this, and i also have this as well. anything helps.
My name is Dion I'm a black genderqueer ftm and I'm saving up for top surgery! My surgery date is supposed to be May 2nd.
I've not gotten word about insurance authorization yet so I'm still waiting to hear back from billing to know how much is covered. Regardless, I will have to take 4-6 weeks off from work and will need money for rent. I'm saving as much as I can, but I will need some help as after crunching the numbers, I will be short for rent + utilities in June.
Look at these two sisters! Mona took this video while distributing the bags of flour you see in this video. They're so happy to receive a bag of flour that they can't physically contain their joy. It's heartwrenching but beings me relief at the same time. Thank you for all your donations. You are doing and helping more than you can understand. Please remember to donate. This is the very proof that every dollar helps. P*ypal.
G*f*ndme for the initiative.
G*f*ndme to evacuate Mona & her family.
Instagram to track progress.
As usual, if you'd like to send messages of care and well wishes Mona's way, she'd really appreciate. She has recently found out her entire neighbourhood been completely erased. Please remember to donate to her evacuation fundraiser.
CONTEXT: the gaza freedom flotilla coalition aims to bring emergency aid (food, medical supplies, etc) to a starving and besieged gaza. activists and journalists from all over the world (including diaspora palestinians like dylan) will be participating, and they know the risk — in 2010 turkish activists attempting a similar mission had their flagship raided by israeli forces, who murdered 10 activists aboard (9 died on site and another died later from critical injuries).
Yousef Moner (@/you2.ef_) sent me a message on Insta and we've been messaging for a couple of days now. I believe this is a legit fundraiser based on what I've seen so far on his socials. He has a brother with another fundraiser (@/mohamed_moner1994 on insta).
Their gofundmes are being organized by Layla Ashoor (@/only_one_lulu on insta and 'Layla Ashoor' on FB).
Yousef is trying to evacuate with his sister and parents. I asked him where he is currently staying and he told me that they are in a small tent in Rafah at the moment. His gfm has only 3 donations amounting to £65 at the time I am making this post (04/21 here in the PH), while Mohamed is only at £1,150.
Please donate to him if you are able and share his fundraiser link to help him gain more donations.
"I didn't know my government could do this" is a wild statement to me not only because I've grown up being aware of many war crimes and genocides done by the USA and other such countries, but that information is really not that hard to find. People complain about their education system a lot but there are thousands of books, documentaries, essays, articles- hell, even videos -about the numerous atrocities committed by the USAmerican government that they should be looking for. The main thing people tell others to do is educate themselves. I'm just.
I’m fatma from Gaza Strip and I really need your help
We need you now more than ever- please donate what you can even if 1$ it will be a big help & share my GoFundMe widely. I'm depending on you. Thank you🙏🇵🇸
If you can’t donate help me share it widely like comment and reblog this post!

it’s easy to forget, so I’ll remind y’all: you can make fantasy versions of anything. yes even things you might not think about. like soil types. I am thinking of fantasy soil types right now
Before Israel killed him, Palestinian scholar Refaat Al Areer wrote to his daughter:
If I must die
you must live
to tell my story
Yesterday Israel killed his daughter Al-Shaymaa along with her husband and baby.
Who is going to tell Refaat and Shayma's story? Who's going to continue to tell the world how Israel obliterated entire bloodlines?
Refaat's poem continues to say
If I must die
let it bring hope
let it be a tale
We must promise to keep the tale alive and to uphold the legacy of Refaat, Shayma and the 40,000 others who were murdered by Israel in its ongoing genocide.
