I've written out 100 things I've always wanted to do. Every week, I pick one task at random, force myself to do it, and document it here.

Two of the most brilliant women in my life. Supervisor Jane Kim made city college free and raised the minimum wage to $15 in SF before she even turned 40. I can only hope to do as much for this city one day.

I haven't been posting much on social media since the election for my own mental health. I essentially put myself through life boot camp these past six months to figure out what the hell I want to do. I started working for Supervisor Jane Kim, helping her fight the landlords and developers in the city exacerbating gentrification and implementing free city college. I also took up ceramics and boxing to help my mental and physical health. I've learned that I am a little too impatient for ceramics, but I can throw a mean right hook and will be kicking ass and taking names for years to come in SF politics. I have been extremely discouraged and encouraged by the lack of people who look like me roaming around City Hall, but it has made me absolutely certain it's necessary for me to be there to give our community a voice. I can't wait to come out of my cave soon and party with you all during pride โ๏ธ.

I need your help, friends. UCSF silently wants to close New Generation Health Center on April 30th, a free teen reproductive center serving 100% low income, 92% POC, 90% female and 75% uninsured young adult patients in Potrero Hill, and they've been obstructing all my attempts to bring light to this issue every step of the way. Since UCSF is trying so hard to silence us, we've decided the only rational route is to be even louder by launching a social media campaign to let everyone in the bay area know that one of the most longstanding institutions in SF that takes care of the most vulnerable among us is about to close. To be a part of our "Save New Gen" campaign, I need you to send me a picture of yourself and a quote on why we should save new gen. Once I jazz your picture up and post it to our Facebook and Instagram page, share the post with your friends so they can see how cute you are. You can message me your picture and quote here or email me at [email protected]. I hate asking for help, but this is an issue that's really, really important and could have lasting effects in San Francisco for generations. Thanks!
