I’ve wanted to do something like this for a bit, and I’ve finally found a concept I like! I was originally going to do ‘Best Visual Novel Protagonist’, but many of the protagonists in visual novels are very much blank slates, so I decided to do a similar but still interesting concept. So… Let’s find out who the best visual novel support character is with some polls!

First of all, I need requests of characters to put. And though the theme of this blog is themed after Kyoko Kirigiri, she is not a guaranteed support on this list.

Now, before you submit a character (via the asks on this blog), here are some things you should be aware of:

- There will only be a maximum of two support characters per series. For example, Danganronpa has many different games and media, but only two of the characters in a support role will be included. This is to prevent a majority of characters being from the same series.

- The character must be (mostly) supportive, helpful, in neutral/good terms with the protagonist, and present in a majority of the visual novel. Some characters may be helpful with information or provide a lot of plot points for the protagonist to dwell over, but they don’t provide the protagonist a firm shoulder to rely on. Some characters may fulfill contrasting roles at once, so I will be a bit lenient on this, but just be aware of that.

- No manga supports or anime supports, etc. Unless those media have been adapted into a visual novel, they will not be taken in.

- And that’s it! After I feel I have enough requests to properly select 32 of those characters, I will announce who got selected, and then the polls will begin! Thank you for reading.
