Well I agree that 10 years is very long but gimple said many times that he had to go through the comic book material before he get to his own stories (and Beth characters is gimple’s baby) so it make sense that she would only come back now that the comic book stuff is over . And I disagree a bit with you Beth is still a very loved character obviously she is not the center of attention for the general public since it’s been almost 10 years but maybe that’s why they are bringing her character so much lately , and also why Emily is at every convention promoting Beth character and talking about how awesome it would be if Beth was found to be living 🙃

It would be a PR if it was just bethyl here and there before a new season but let’s not forget ALL the evidences we got for years and I’m talking about actual evidences not the bethyl things . She either is coming back or at least she was supposed to . But there’s no doubt that she’s alive in the twd universe even if they never tell the story. Coda was not a mistake it was a plan.

I actually believe you. But what makes me sad and confused they said “ their friend ship” 💔 if beth came back im afraid that she will never be with daryl.

Hey So I’m not a diehard bethyler , I mean they would be cute together and there was clearly something growing between them but If they don’t end up together I wouldn’t mind as long as we get Beth back . As for what you said you shouldn’t be sad about that because when Beth « died » they were just friend even if something romantic was starting so it doesn’t bother me that they use the term « friendship » and also they can’t confirm that there was more between them until she comes back so don’t worry about it

Okay so I wanted to talk a bit more about the twd post and have your thoughts on it

So first WTF ? why the hell would they post this now ? It’s been 10 YEARS and they are promoting DD season 2 . Weird choice😏

The first two things we can see in the video are theses :

This alone is huge cause they are using this line at the beginning paired with her « body » and to me it implies that when we look at her in this scene she’s another dead girl even tho she’s not .

After that there’s the « I’m not michonne, I’m not carol , I’m not Maggie » line along with clips of theses characters which emphasizes the fact that Beth compares herself to women who ARE STILL ALIVE at this point .

And people could say it’s not that deep BUT they meticulously chose the order of the scenes , for exemple when we hear Beth saying « I’m not like you or THEM » they put a clip of the group from 5x10 which is called « THEM » everything is purposeful.

Then they show theses :

Daryl crying after Beth got shot and Daryl crying after Rick supposedly exploded with the bridge.

That would seems odd for a non-TDer but they are clearly suggesting that both Beth and Rick deaths were fake . And also at the same time there’s the Daryl crying for Beth clip there’s the « I made it » line and again this confirms the fact that they are implying Beth survived the shot .

They rearranged Beth speech so that it would fit the scenes and the message they are trying to tell us.

No one can convince me theses are coincidences.

Also the fact that they emphasize SO MUCH this specific line.. it almost seems like they are talking to the audience like “you see just another dead girl when you look at Beth .. but bitch you’re not ready for what’s coming”

If you ever loose faith that Beth is alive just remember that they could have showed her funeral at the end of coda , they didn’t. they could have at the beginning of 5x09 instead of teasing Tyreese funeral , they didn’t. and they could have at any moment in the show as a flashback or even just mentioned it , they didn’t. there is a reason for that.

It’s always funny to me how people say that Beth was weak and couldn’t survive in this world. cause those people are obsessed with Glenn yet Beth didn’t hesitate to kill people at Grady in order to survive . She killed humans way before Glenn could. She clearly understood what she had to do to survive and protect others.
