So I watched the live action How To Train Your Dragon yesterday and I need to talk about it…

Spoilers!!

The httyd moves are my comfort films, always have been, and I was very excited for this movie, especially when I heard all the great reviews about it! But I have to say, I was disappointed.

Maybe it was because I raised my expectations too high, but it felt like a poorly done remake with a few good scenes.

I can admit that the test drive scene was pretty good, and the romantic flight scene was cute, but overall, it felt like the main actors were very emotionless, and didn’t have as many important lines.

I mean, they left out the entire scene after test drive with the terrible terror, when Hiccup finds out the dragons aren’t totally fireproof, and it’s a crucial scene in the movie! It’s like, the biggest plot point that makes him realize that all of the dragons might be just as tame as toothless if they let them.

I’m hoping they do a better job on the second film, because overall, this movie didn’t give me the same feeling as the original.

I will never forget the horror I saw yesterday. Over 500,000 people trapped in a small area for aid that wasn’t enough for even 1%.

What we see here… you don’t see on the news. It’s hell.

Then, the shooting began. I’ll never forget the man I met on the road — we waited together since dawn. He was shot in the head in front of me… and people trampled over him. I don’t know if he’s alive or dead. I stood there helpless.

I didn’t tell my mother I was going — but I couldn’t watch them starving anymore. No flour for 3 months. No food for 2 days. I came back empty-handed… broken… in shock.

But my family is still here… starving, homeless, forgotten.

THUNDERBOLTS* SPOILERS

I just watched this movie and holy shit. Marvel is definitely upping their game, this movie healed me in so many ways.

I related to a lot of the characters, and the way they touched on mental health and how the loneliness can only be overcome by love and friendship 😭 definitely gonna go cry again.

I genuinely had no idea how they were supposed to defeat Sentry/the Void.

I mean he’s very clearly indestructible, he can turn people into fucking shadows and can’t be harmed by any weapons. But I love that they showed that he didn’t need to be defeated by anyone else, he instead needed to fight the darkness inside of himself, and i he couldn’t have done that without the help of everyone else.

Also, getting to see my beautiful wife again was amazing🤭

This woman is actually the love of my life Istg🙏🏻

This man didn’t get enough screen time in my opinion, but it’s okay, because he’s clearly working on himself 😂 shooting out the tires of a military vehicle is definitely therapy in his opinion.

It was a beautiful movie, and I will be watching about 60 more times❤️

Can't express how stress free being open minded is.

Some people have people inside their head and sometimes it's fictional chars? Sick your brains like a pirate ship they're all working to run.

I’m rewatching House of the Dragon and I gotta say, Daemons weird little trip at Harrenhall gets a little tedious.

Like, I understand, he needs to see the ghosts to leave his ambition behind, but honey, maybe I don’t want to see every bit of your self growth. Just fix yourself up and get back to your lovely wife.

Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller in The Gorge are giving me so much bi panic it’s insane.

First off, holy shit, look at this woman!!

I mean she’s absolutely gorgeous, for starters.

And she’s got incredible acting skills!! The giddiness of finally meeting Levi in her face, and the anguish of thinking she lost him, along with the love she feels for him.

Then there’s this man. 🔥 stunning gorgeous beautiful I love him.
