I made this Sim whose goal is to make her cat Oddity famous so everyone will appreciate how great he is. One of the first things she did was stand on the middle of the street and get stuck praising him several times in a row. Understandable!

I love the Cottage Living bunnies so much.

Wanda is not above feeding from other Sims, but a downside of living in a remote cottage is the lack of random passersby. Since plasma foods are still broken in my game, Wanda has been experimenting with other ways of having a daytime snack.

One good thing about vampire foods making her sick: she got the Uncomfortable cowplant essence for her collection!

Rory called and asked Wanda on a date. Wanda was just about to leave for work, but she called Rory back later. I thought their date was very awkward but they didn't think so, since it earned Wanda a gold medal. Mkay.

After the date, Wanda had to meet Trashley. She only managed to acquire a bunch of boxes inside boxes... no cool raccoon art, sadly.

Unfortunately, costumers were increasingly sick after eating anything at the business. It could be because some individuals were blatantly misusing the mini bubble tea counter to order nonsense like burgers.

However, even the ones eating plasma dishes as intended were throwing up all over the place. Why? How?

Wanda had to test various dishes and they all went wrong. My game has decided to make plasma food incompatible with vampires, even dishes that were working just fine before. Why? We just don't know.

In conclusion, I hate this game.

For a couple of nights, Wanda's business was going well.

Wanda decided to turn her barn into a little teahouse for vampires, featuring two different types of plasma tea.

Caleb Vatore is THE WORST. He showed up just before closing time to replace the tea with green tea and help himself to some (free) leftovers.

Just wanted to show off Wanda's tattoos! I gave her a new one as a homage to her missing chickens. I hear there's a pigeon one in the new pack?

This is not a good picture but I was surprised by the sheer number of rabbits showing up all at once.

On Spring Day, Wanda decided she wanted to drink from the Bunny. She looks so pleased about it.

Anyway, the foster dog was adopted, Wanda briefly fostered a kitten and another dog, and 0 misbehaviours were trained out. I did discover that hugging kittens is broken in my game, Sims will just stand around and not do it. Ugh.

Popping into Wanda's save for a bit seemed relatively safe, so I decided to do just that. To make up for the loss of her chickens to the missing livestock glitch (and the fact that her mini sheep is now in the household inventory for the same reason...), Wanda got a pet pigeon.

I used items for Kaiso's parrot CC pack to make a little corner for it.

This new place is actually the barn! The donkey never really used it since he hates being indoors, and the removal of the chicken coop led to some reshuffling of things. The barn was renovated.

Wanda still has Donkey and Whisper, of course.

I realised Wanda had never completed the Friend of the Animals aspiration because she needs to train out two misbehaviours. I decided to use LittleMsSam's Foster Family mod to have her foster some animals...

I just wanted to show off Wolf! He's handpainted by The Kalino and downloadable. What a majestic beast.

I feel like I messed up in giving Wanda a pet because I can never ever let Wolf die of old age. I guess we'll just have to pretend she's got this lineage of identical-looking wolves.

Wanda has ended up living in this castle thanks to her new mortal servant/benefactor/who knows, Berenice Purcell. Berenice is an eccentric widow who seeks to unlock the secrets of alchemy and spends much of her time locked up in a study.

Wanda's life is comfortable, but somewhat boring. There isn't a whole lot for her to do other than spin yarn, make candles, and...

Spend time with her pet wolf, who has been creatively named Wolf.

Sometimes, Wanda sees Berenice and tries to connect with her. This is to little avail. Berenice doesn't seem much interested in conversations that aren't about arcane secrets.

Of her own accord, Wanda has been sneaking into Berenice's study and doing some experimenting of her own...

A hundred years go by. The mortals Wanda once knew are now gone. A different century finds Wanda in a very different situation...

I just realised I didn't finish posting about these two! After the success of Winterfest, things seemed slightly better for them. There was only a small amount of drama over Louise bringing her new werewolf crush over for NYE.

Celine got a bucket list goal to spend the day in Willow Creek, and naturally dragged her sulky teen daughter along. Louise discovered a passion for chess.

Things were awkward on occasion, but they were doing a much better job of understanding each other. They regularly had positive, normal conversations!

By the end of Spring, they were friends! Louise's grades were going up of her own accord, too.

Louise did not complete her aspiration because I couldn't figure out how to get her an afterschool activity rival? I even figured she'd join the Scouts just for the drama of finding an enemy, but I couldn't figure out who the other kids were.

Anyway, that's it for this challenge! The end of was surprisingly unventful, just many little conversations that had a positive outcome and built up their relationship :)

The discovery of her sister's betrayal drives Wanda wild with rage and malice. The hunt begins.

Wanda turns Edviga into a vampire before fleeing. She has earn the Skill Ashamed.

Wanda is bored. There's no real purpose to her existence other than sleeping and feeding. The bodies pile up in the village; sometimes the killing goes on through the night.

Edviga hadn't given up on finding Wanda, and the mysterious epidemic is a good clue. The sisters reunite.

Edviga has taught herself how to read and she's determined to help Wanda find a cure. The months go by. Nothing seems to work, but Edviga reassures her sister that a breakthrough is just around the corner.

Eventually, Edviga gives up hope and sets a trap. If Wanda can't be cured, then she shouldn't go on living as a monster.

Wanda had not expected this betrayal.

Her misdeeds prove a little too much for Wanda, who sets a trap.

Their time together has led to Wanda's loss of one of her human memories, but she has gained the woman's strange insight into the future.

You are recognized for what you are by another creature like yourself...

While out hunting, Wanda runs into a terrifying old woman. She's just like Wanda, only much, much more ancient. Though this creature communicates mostly through hisses, Wanda may be able to communicate with her. She wants Wanda's knife.

She seems reassured once Wanda is unarmed. In return, she takes Wanda to her lair, a dilapited cottage. She shows Wanda how to turn into a bat.

Wanda has never imagined such a thing, but now she can do it, too.

Wanda stays at the cottage for a while and tries to make it into more of a home. Just because they're horrifying creatures living in a ruin, it doesn't mean they can't have a clean washbasin.
