When I was finishing high school, the teachers and principle must have been on some insane shit because they decided I should be the one to give quick farewell speech to for my grade and welcoming the next grade into the finale year.

I stood in front of these people and my teachers, giving the usual BS about how lovely high school was and that they need to work hard to get through the last year and then finished off with the banger line of

“I don’t know half of you as well as I should like, and I like less than half you half as well as you deserve.”

From Bilbos birthday and my one friend was the only one to get it and understand out of everyone and sat at the back of the room smirking like Gandalf.

Yes, it is as amazing to do as you think. I think back on it almost 10 years later with fondness and a chuckle. It’s one of my favourite stories to tell. I truly think that was my peak moment in life, I don’t think much can beat it honestly.
