Fairytales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.

I don't like the idea of Azriel and Elain ending up together because I just think we've seen that story before and it would be boring. I also just think it would be cheap for all three sisters to end up with a Bat Brother, like even Azriel suggested!
I don't know if I love the idea of her ending up with Lucien either. (I'm more of a Lucienxhappiness shipper than anything.)
I just know I dont want Azriel and Elain. I don't really find either character compelling to make me invested in their romance.

You know what? People give Belly hell for "messing around with brothers" but what about Laurie from Little Women. I'm only talking about the Greta Gerwig adaptation here.
He proposed to sisters who also had a strained relationship within days of one another. Sure, he never kissed or had sex with both of them but only because of the time period they were in and social norms.
But he was in love with sisters and wanted to marry both and proposed to both within days of each other.
Why don't we give him grief?
(I'm partially kidding because I just saw someone compare Conrad to Laurie.)

I'm actually amazed at how angry people are over the beach scene as if Belly should have or even was going to just fall straight into Conrad's arms. No, he needs to work for it.
Belly couldn't just call off the wedding after she and her mom spent so long not talking over it and now she's here. Her mom would understand and be there for her but Belly's not going to see it that way. She's not going to want to disrespect adam by not going through with it after paying for it. I also just realized that it's essentially a destination wedding since no one in the wedding or the guests actually live in Cousins.
Calling off the wedding at this point, after everyone has been against it, is likely going to feel embarrassing for her. It makes total sense why she's convincing herself to go through with it despite her obvious doubts.

"How can Belly think Conrad forgetting the corsage is worse than Jeremiah cheating?"
If I see this take one more time...
Y'all, she was talking about how hot and cold he was with her and if you go back and watch season 1, he WAS. Maybe not during the majority of their relationship based off what we've seen in flashbacks but this girl has been in love with him her whole life so anything he's ever done is significant to her.
Yes, he was depressed and grieving because of his mom but that still doesn't mean that Belly doesn't have the right to be upset and hurt.
She's also obviously been lying to herself and pushing those feelings down, only for them to start bubbling to the surface 2 days before her wedding. She's angry about that and lashing out. And now she's lying to Conrad about it.
She was living in her little bubble where she thought she and Jeremiah were perfect but we've seen how he starts to shut down on her too and she rushes to give in to fix it so he won't.
At the end of the day, she's put up with a lot from the Fisher brothers. It's just that she's always felt love more deeply for Conrad so he has the ability to do things that hurt more deeply.

I think its hilarious that I, a millennial who hates talking on the phone and refuses to answer a number I don't know, have a job where I have to call people and then get frustrated when they don't answer the phone. The hilarious thing is that most of these people who won't answer the phone are also millennials so I should really have seen this coming.

Being the eldest/only daughter in my family means being the keeper of the email addresses and passwords for the entire family. I hope Taylor Swift's song about it mentions that.

We have 4 episodes left and next week is the wedding, which presumably means the end of Jeremiah and Belly's relationship.
Is it too much to ask that we get ONE episode of Belly being completely single and not worrying about a boy for the first time in the show?
I want to see her in Paris, navigating life and figuring out who she is. I want Laurel and Taylor and Steven visiting her. Conrad too eventually but not for a good minute. Maybe we can see her after she leaves Paris and she goes into her career or onto her masters program. I wouldn't even mind seeing her go on a date or two with someone else because I do think it's important for her to explore dating outside of the brothers. But I mostly want to see Belly thriving without a boy.
I want us to see Belly learn who she is before she starts something new with Conrad.
And then I want to see at least a little bit of Belly and Conrad's lives together where they've both grown and healed and learned who they are separately and are now in a healthy, good place.

Every time I read that Millie Bobby Brown has done something new, I'm always so happy for her and then I read comments talking about how she's too young to be married and too young to be having a kid. "Afterall she's only 21."
This girl has been in the spotlight since she was about 10 or 11 years old. She's spent those years being overly sexualized by people on the internet and very possibly in her real life. She's been working since she was a kid.
Her meeting someone and falling in love and believing that he is the one and getting married when she's 19 or 20 is honestly right on track with a lot of young people. If she wasn't a celebrity, people wouldn't have a word to say; they'd just go "huh" and scroll right on by the facebook post.
People saying she should "enjoy her life while she's young" don't seem to realize that her getting married and deciding to adopt a baby with her husband and start a family is her enjoying her life. She doesn't have to go out clubbing and partying and hooking up with every man under the sun to enjoy her life. She knew what she wanted at a young age, so what?
Also, she and her husband have the ability to give a baby a good life. Why shouldn't they just because they're young? 21 year olds have babies every single day and oftentimes the kids turn out fine. It shouldn't matter just because they're young.
I, for one, am happy that her child stardom has seemed to lead to the start of a beautiful adult life for her and I hope it's as wonderful for her as it seems to be.

I’m sorry but blaming Jenny for not putting a voice over in the beach scene just speaks to how people expect to be hand fed this story instead of using your basic comprehension skills.
Belly breaking down after rejecting Conrad really is not that hard to understand. Belly is literally doing the same thing that Conrad did at the end of season two and nobody needed to explain that to y’all. Belly is in love with Conrad. Hurting him is hurting her but she’s scared of her feelings for him . She’s afraid to let go of the safe choice. Belly’s anger is justified because if Conrad had just been honest with her four years ago she would have waited for him and now it feels too late.
I get it. I hate seeing Conrad hurt over and over. It’s so awful to watch bc he doesn’t deserve it. But Belly needs the space to figure herself out. Conrad needed to hear all that so that he can finally fight for Belly and know how to do that in a way that makes her understand that his feelings aren’t going anywhere
