Now that I've almost finished the MGS saga (only PW and MGS4 to go!) I've finally reworked Antares! It's been a nice ride so far!

I fixed her writing too ;) this was an attempt to give more of a Yoji Shinkawa feel to the drawing!

Sapphire Tiger also known as Victoria Hula, is a member of Diamond Dogs as well as an ability user.

In 1956 on the morning of October 19th, Tiger was born as Victoria Hula. Her parents loved her but saw weird things happen around her home as well as school. Eventually it got out of hand for them, so they sent her to the orphanage and from there she was adopted by a woman named Billie. When Tiger was ten, a raid was set on Billie’s house. Soldiers broke in and ransacked everything, and when they found Tiger with Billie they shot her dead. After that they took her to their base located in Canada.

Apparently she was a test tube baby. Yes she was born from her biological mother, but because they wanted money, they accepted the deal to have an ability wilding child. Except they couldn’t handle the responsibility with a child and new powers… they gave her up, which wasn’t apart of their deal. Since that day she stayed inside a laboratory to be experimented on.

Years later, when she was around 19-20, one of the inmates broke out. This caused a large panic within the laboratory. Almost every scientist and personal died that day and that made Tiger escape her prison. Soon she was alone and searching for anything to eat. Soon she wounded up meeting the duel wielder Revolver Ocelot. Who first took her in because of people hunting her down. He didn’t know the reason, but within a few days he saw her do her ability… more like pick up a truck and toss it at the people who they were fighting. He made it his mission for her to stay by his side, and not use her powers. Afraid that those scientists in that lab that kept her were not all gone… afraid that they’ll extract her abilities for something else.

So Ocelot and Tiger stayed together for the longest. She got to meet Miller and hear about Big Boss who they talked to her constantly about. She eventually grew out her shell and changed her clothing to what she wears, the half crop sweater and shorts.

Nine years go by and she hears that Big Boss is awake, from those years her and Ocelot formed a relationship. They have been in bed together those years as well and soon enough when she heard the news alongside the others she was happy for Ocelot to finally see his guy again.

Pretty much inside the game is the same. Except that Big boss (Venom Snake) cannot really interact with her. Reason why is Ocelot doesn’t want to reveal that Tiger has supernatural abilities to him just yet. So when Snake saw the two converse and saw Ocelot sort of shoo her away, he asked who she was. Ocelot made a lie that she’s a medic/sniper who doesn’t work a lot in the field due to her being lack of experience for solo work.

After a few visits back to the base, Snake will see her outside by herself with D-D. Snake walks up and she is shocked before introducing herself to him as Sapphire Tiger. Snake thinks the name is unique and asks who gave her the code name and she said she came up with the Tiger one but Ocelot came up with Sapphire.

If Venom comes and visits the Mother Base and interact with her, she’ll slowly open up. Yet, she will wear a sad face. Venom will bring it up and she’ll admit that there’s a secret that she’s keeping before walking away. Eventually he’ll find out about her abilities, after she lifts a table and throws it at an enemy when someone infiltrated the base. Venom then goes to ask but Ocelot stands between them telling him that he was going to explain her powers. Tiger then gets onto Ocelot saying that holding something big like that would break apart a team. Miller witnessed the event as well and asked why someone with that power was under their noses not doing anything. Ocelot then spills that people were looking for her and knows that if they get ahold of Tiger, then they’ll extract and use her for other things that might compromise the base.

Miller and Venom then understand, soon Tiger could get on the field with BOV missions like Ocelot and Quiet does.

After a while, the base is taken over by a virus and Venom has to put the team down. Tiger is trapped inside one of the rooms and Ocelot goes to find her as Miller evacuated already, and Venom is killing off the infected. He soon finds her as she slams a locker into one of her comrades and cries. Ocelot helps her to the hall where he goes to shoot but gets cut off by her slamming them against the wall. He then asks why she did that and she says she didn’t want to see their teammates bloodied up. Ocelot and Tiger eventually escape and when they get to the helicopter, she throws up and then the gang find another place for their base… soon Tiger realizes that she is pregnant.

After a few days she tests herself to make sure, and plain as day, she was indeed pregnant. Tiger then pulls Ocelot aside and asks what would happen if he had a child with someone. His response is that it’s too much to handle as a war is about to break out plus his life will be at stake and if he dies, the protection of that child is in danger. Tiger changes her conversation on what Venom was doing seeing that him and Quiet got along. Soon Ocelot puts two and two together and asks the question. She takes a moment to say yes but then says that he doesn’t have to worry about her and that if he does die, she’ll protect their baby. Ocelot is surprised he knocked her up pretty much saying that he’s sort of old. Tiger jokes that no one gets rid of the most important ingredient to make a baby.

After the big fight with XOF and Skull Face. The world goes quiet for a moment as many died and Quiet left. Tiger goes through he care of the Diamond Dogs to make sure she’s healthy and at peace for her baby.

Months later in mid June, Tiger gives birth to Mille. A baby girl who Ocelot says he’s surprised he didn’t make a boy. She laughs and says that their child will most likely have his humor and personality. Everyone sees their baby including the gang, Miller and Venom. They say they’ll watch over her when she grows and will be a member of the Diamond Dogs. Eventually years go by and Venom dies in 1995 at Outer Heaven. Then she gets into another organization with Ocelot, The Patriots. Little did she know that the organization was watching her and her child during their stay. She voices this to Ocelot who brushes it off and before you know it… Tiger goes missing in 2000. 15 year old Mille is wondering where her mother is and goes to her dad for intel. Ocelot is shocked and asks everyone inside the organization including Big Boss himself (Yeah he’s back). Boss then lies and says someone within the CIA kidnapped her. So Mille grew up to resent the people who “took” her mother. (More info on Mille soon!!)
