"you're cute." sua says simply, after giving a quick scan of her features with her eyes. "i don't...know if there's a way to teach you." her words are slow, almost exasperated as she thinks about it. she scratches at her chin in thought, eyes narrowing at the screen when she glances at it. "maybe you need, i don't know. an angle or something. a style of photo? a selfie shtick?" she rambles off. "who knows. once you find it, you could start like...a trend or something."
"i'll try not to." the artist snorts, shaking her head at the other girl. "if you want, i can take a photo of us just the normal way i do? and then you can take the way that feels right for you. maybe you'll bring out a side of me i haven't seen before. or vice versa." sua shrugs.
lifting her phone back up, she tests the angle she wants to do, and steps a bit to the side so sua can get a better visual of the backdrop. "i'll take it with us in the center, first. i'll try a different angle later. you ready? one, two, three!" she snaps a few of the two of them, keeping her expression relaxed in them until the corners of her mouth quirk up at the last few.

sua hums at the info, directing her eyes away from seira and back to the set in thought. "what are the qualifications for it, you think?" she inquires, following up with a snort. "i guess for now we're the judge of it?" they'll probably ask for all the photos or the best ones or whatever. "i like to think i am. i haven't heard any complaints or criticisms." sua laughs, the thought funny to her. "i just take them when i feel like it. or if i need to use them for something." a thirst trap or two, pouting to get her way or a threatening one. a picture is worth a thousand words, after all. "well. all we can do is try." sua decides on, flipping through her phone for her camera so she can try out a selfie. she snaps a quick one, expression blank in front of a tree, before she tries for a small, very miniscule smile. "d'ya want to take a picture with me?" she asks, glancing over at seira. "we can do some selfies first, and if you want, i'll take a few of you posing first?"
“you’re naturally pretty, so it must be hard not to take a good selfie” she shrugs. “i know i’m not ugly, and i would honestly call myself pretty, but majority of my selfies look so… awkward, it’s so rarely my selfies come out looking cute” she pouts. “you gotta teach me your ways, how can my selfies turn out as good as yours?”.
seira should really get together and practice posing and modeling, but at the moment she wanted to give rap and dancing all of her attention. to become an idol again however, she needed much more than just dancing and rapping, and this whole thing was probably for the better, though seira was disliking how not-well she was doing so far.
“let’s, let’s try taking some selfies” she nods. “don’t overshine me with your beauty though!” she says as she places her hands on her hips. “what kind of pose should we do first?” she looks at the other. “or should we just… go for it?” seira hums “selfie taking is harder than it should be”.

"me too," she mumbles. sua's living vicariously through joomi now, peering at biscuit in the halls even if she can't get too close. she's always wanted a pet, but time and money had always been a big concern to her. it'll be a goal in the future, for sure. sua's still banking on a pet rat one day. "fish are cool, but you're right, it's not as fun. it also makes me sad to see them trapped in a glass prison." a frown crosses her face. "i like the animals i can hold more."
sua shrugs. "i like hanging out with you." she says, genuine even if her tone sounds as mild as it can. a small smile pulls at her mouth, almost shy in sua's nature. it makes her feel nice that seira likes hanging out with her too, even if sua feels like she can be rather bland at times.
as sua keeps her eyes out for somewhere for them to feed an animal, she frowns at the question. "i'm not scared," she says, on the edge of defensive. seira doesn't mean anything bad by it, and probably at her core, sua is a little frightened. "they're just-- annoying. i got attacked my seagulls once when i was a kid." her face scrunches up as she thinks about it, remembering how close they had gotten to her and the nips with their beaks trying to get the fish out of her hands.
"we can go see them, it's okay," sua rushes out to assure, a strained smile on her face. "as long as i don't get too close it should be okay. if they start flying at me though, i'm running for my life. if i leave you there, i'm sorry in advance."
glancing around them, sua points vaguely in the direction to the northwest. "i think there's an alpaca feeding exhibit over there."
bexsua
"a chinchilla? aw," sua smiles at the thought of it. "i wouldn't mind having one either." she says, thinking about it. they're cute, and right up sua's alley. "i hope they do have them here. i'd love to see them, even if they're snoozing." a contemplative look crosses the artist's face. "hm. we'll pack as many as we can, then." they can decide what to eliminate off the list later on; once they get their main focuses out of the way. sua came here with a plan (kinda. a semblance of one, really). "coming here again would be fun. i'd like that-- and we can choose an animal to do a feeding session while we're looking around?" "you'll love them." sua reassures, her mouth quirking up wide at the corners with the flare of her teeth. just thinking about them is getting sua more and more excited to get into the thick of the zoo. sua shakes her head sharply, her expression pinched. "we...can see them." she says, though it sounds like it takes everything in her to grit those words out. "but i don't want...to get near them. we don't get along." sua explains. "but if you want to, feel free. i'll support you from a healthy distance away." she tosses a crooked smile at seira, before gesturing forward so they can continue on their zoowalk.
“i’d love to have a pet some day” she hums “i want one now so i have someone to go home to but… i fear i’m too busy for a pet right now, i have practice and work to handle, i wouldn’t be able to give the pet that much attention” she pouts. “i suppose i could get a fish, they can pretty much entertain themselves but… they seem like such a boring pet to own” she shrugs “eh, i’ll just hope that in the future i’ll be able to have a pet, hopefully a chinchilla”.
seira gives a strong nod “let’s attempt to see as much as we can!” seira doesn’t want to stress through it all and only see every animal for a couple of seconds, but she does want to see as much as they possibly can see. a bright and wide smile shows up on seira’s lips “i’m happy you’ll let me tag along another time! and yeah, let’s figure out what animal to do a feeding session with” she nods her head.
seira tilts her head to the side “are you scared of birds?” she looks curiously at the other “you can hold my hand if you want?” she reaches out a hand, a smile on her lips “i won’t let any bird hurt you!”. “i wanna see them, but, i want you to come too! don’t worry, we won’t walk too close to the birds, i promise!”.

"i get fomo so bad sometimes. it's actually unreal." the amount of random purchases she's made built off the stupid idea of missing out on it. how do people manage that? sua's still seething from the time she skipped out on buying a collector's edition for a zelda game once. she can't find it anywhere now, and it's people upsell it on line for way out of her budget. "speaking of cute things, do you have like, a favorite mascot? character from something? i won't judge who." okay, maybe she will, but sua will keep quiet.
sua cocks her head to the side, glaring up at the pencils as if the decision will come to her. "i think the shades of color you can do with them are nice. if you don't want something too...pigmented." it feels delicate in a way sua's never really been with drawing. "ugh. more things to buy?" art is really a never ending hole in your pocket. the digital artist rubs at her eye tiredly. "pencil sharpening hell...no thanks."
"how's streaming been, lately?" sua asks, when she's moved on from one display and onto the next. she misses it sometimes-- the attention, the talking to people about similar interests. she doesn't miss the annoyances or the rude people. it's also nice to draw more for her than her viewers, now, too.
"right? like what if it never goes on sale again? then i miss out." sua scowls at the idea of it. it's happened before-- tablets going on sale and sua going mm, maybe next time! and then next time never happens. it's a certified way to drive her mad. "...but having cute things is fun, too." she's eyeing a set up pencils with cute characters on them. nothing really artsy or important about them. but the mascots staring back at her bring a small smile to her face.
she plucks the pack off the display. "a treat for me." she says in defense, like heechul's going to scold her even though he's never done that before. sua takes a step away from the current display and then at the next, continuing. "i guess i'll care if it fucks up my drawing." a problem for future sua to figure out, honestly.
"do you draw with coloured pencils a lot?" sua asks, tilting her head as she looks around for the options. truthfully, she doesn't spend a lot of time with pencils. pens are more her style, if she can't get to her tablet-- especially when it comes to colors. "i hate sharpening them."

"it's not that weird." sua assures, shaking her head. she hums in knowledge, sua has seen them before, even if she isn't really a pastry girl. "they have so many different types of bread. i can't even keep up. some places only offer specific types." there's a frown on her face as she recalls the few times she stepped into a cafe only to see it's some sort of specialty one; the menu sounds nice, but it's so limited.
sua snorts at the idea of her being around hyeran's mom long enough to tell her that her daughter told sua an embarrassing story. "she messed up avocado toast?" the artist asks in disbelief, scoffing out a soft laugh. "how'd she manage that?" the wink hyeran sends her has a full smile breaking out on her mouth. sua glances away, clicking her tongue-- pretty and playful are a dangerous combo.
and so begins their little market journey. sua tags along, following after hyeran, glancing around them in partial interest. at hyeran's question, her attention returns back to the girl. "i play a lot of different ones. do you know...the legend of zelda? i like that one the most." sua feels shy saying it, glancing away to study a market. she feels like a kid bringing up her interests in front of a bunch of new friends and hoping at least one of them will bite with intrigue. "sure, if you want to see..." she feels her ears redden. sua ducks her head and pulls out her phone, sifting through her photos for something she's drawn recently.
sua's wanted to be a lot of things in her life. never an idol though. it feels surreal to think she's here, at lime, with other girls working towards a goal. maybe sua's goal isn't the same as the other's-- she's absolutely sure, rather. hyeran though? she feels built for it. she's talented, she's pretty, and there's a pull to her that feels gravitational, like you want to get to know her. "you will be." sua says simply, focusing on find a proper drawing to show the other. "i'm sure of it."
sua has so many pieces she's drawn, silly little doodles and full on pieces. she just picks a random one-- two women in a dancing pose together, both of their faces down and obscure. the coloring is dull, almost somber in nature. "here," she clears her throat, nudging hyeran gently with her phone. sua looks away pointedly. "if you-- were actually interested in what i drew."
━━ non-event starter ◞ attitude .· (@bexsua)
“i’m glad you accepted my invitation,” she smiles as the two of them walk towards the small crowd of tents in front. “i heard there’s going to be a lot of different vendors here. personally, i’m mostly excited for the food! i looked up the list and there’s two tents i really want to stop at,” hyeran looks sua squarely in the face, serious. “i want to get sourdough bread and chocolate for sure. when i looked at the chocolatier’s website, they had all sorts of flavors! i’m really excited for the strawberry one, and my mom wanted me to pick up a loaf of sourdough so we’re not leaving until i get those two things at least,” she nods, telling her the tentative plan.
“of course, we have to explore it all! but just don’t let me forget, okay?”
“what do you normally spend your weekends doing?” hyeran asks the other casually. “i normally spend one day at the company getting in some sleep in on the weekends

"it's kind of liberating though, no?" sua asks. "being able to freely sing without the worry of someone telling you do better." it feels like being normal again-- just friends using the karaoke room and laughing about their voice cracks rather than worrying about the extra lessons they'll have to put in.
"it does! that's like, my baby," the sigh that sua lets out is long-suffering, looking more and more like a disgruntled cat at the thought of it. "the last time i opened animal crossing, one of my villagers asked to leave! because i wasn't around. it made me feel so bad." sua had promptly said no and then turned off the game, unwilling to see if any other villagers were going to do the same. it's just a game, but going from gaming damn near everyday to only a few (maybe!) times a week feels wrong.
it is tough. but sua was raised on tough love and learning from dumb, reckless decisions. it feels like a challenge she has to overcome-- because really, if sua can land a position in a group out of lime? she'd be set with connections. sure, she'd sacrifice a few more years to tight restrictions and a controlled management, but afterwards? she could likely afford art school and enough power to get herself off the waiting list, right? hell, she might even be able to skip art school entirely if she plays her cards right. it's the long fight, but sua's good at fighting.
"true. the outcome is worth the high stakes trouble." the artist says after a moment, humming as she playfully knocks her elbow into the other girl. "you'll make it one day. you're good at it." and maybe that's chaerin's years of work she's put in. sua's not even made it a year yet. "it'll probably...be soon for you, maybe? they've got you doing a lot of things, even as a trainee." chaerin's probably the most notable trainee under their roster, if sua's been paying correct attention.
sua snorts. "a private show. just you, me, and the people watching us over the camera sing our hearts out." at least there's less judgement. no viral videos of them and people making assumptions that could lead to things thrown out of proportion. "karaoke would be fun sometime, though. i haven't been since last year i think." halloween, if sua remembers correctly. "we should go next time."
a thoughtful noise leaves her. it makes sense as an art student that there isn't much rest-- it's practice and work, just in the same manner that training feels to be. "that's not always bad, though. just...existing and resting in the moment. it might be boring, but," sua shrugs. some people like it that way. sometimes exciting can be too much, or worse, it can be dangerous.
the number one thing? "probably drawing fanart." sua snorts, cracking a smile. "or playing a video game. there's dust on my nintendo switch. it feels sacriligeous to me." she'd spend hours on that thing-- and going from spending most of her time melting her eyes to it, to now maybe squeezing an hour or two of time in? sua feels off center. "i wouldn't mind getting plastered in a bar on the weekend somewhere, too. i don't know. can you tell i'm not used to rules and restrictions?" sua snorts, a twisted smile on her face that looks more like a grimace.

feat. @beyuwol shaking paradigm.
training at lime is redundant.
not that sua really minds. routine is...okay. it gives her something to work towards, though working with the same people day in and day out gets a little boring. especially in a situation where sua can't freely relax and do things that she really enjoys without the guilt and worry of something going wrong. she's fiending for something a little different.
a day at axis helps, at least. there's enough new faces that it feels like she's somewhere else, for a change. the training is similar, but the rooms and equipment and staff have a different vibe than lime.
when she's ducking into a free practice room, intent on working on composition because she cannot keep dancing today for the life of god, she pauses in her tracks. there's nothing against sharing the room with other trainees in the building, but sua always feels awkward when she sees someone else in one of the rooms.
the feeling leaves her shortly after, because upon further inspection, it's yuwol. sua doesn't feel at all bad intruding on his practice time, and there's almost a satisfied smile on her face as she makes her way towards him. sua doesn't greet him, but she stalks towards him-- like a cat about to pounce on a mouse. she waits to speak until she can comfortably toss down her bag and set a hand on the tabletop, fixing him with a smile that's probably more unsettling than pleasant.
"hello, traitor." sua starts with, blinking at him innocently. "fancy seeing you here." she knew a bunch of things happened to yuwol after next gen-- after she was abandoned by the rest of her band to join the show. not that she can really call it being abandoned if she knew full well what the lot of them were doing, but whatever. she can be salty about it, even if she doesn't care as much as she did before.

cw/ alcohol
sua blinks at the question, head cocking to the side as she pauses in thought. sua's had a number of relationships, varying from potential romantic candidates and casual flings to long term situationships and the occasional committed relationship. sua's single now, with a history of repeated bad behavior and decisions behind her; most-- if not all of her past relationships ended in flames with sua holding the matches. she doesn't know if there's ever been a right person, wrong time. or a wrong person, right time.
maybe there was. maybe one of the people she ghosted because they said too many things that her gut feel weird. sua's never liked feeling flustered, at a loss of words. she lashes out, defensive at her core, or she avoids all contact. ignores their text and blocks the number. frequents different places until enough time passes-- and then she picks up someone worse. people so far away from being able to make her heart skip a beat, or her palms to sweat. it's like self sabotage, putting herself into situations destined for failure.
"i don't think so," sua settles for, shrugging one shoulder dismissively. "there might have been. once upon a time--but it feels like most times are the wrong time for me, so..." she says it so casually, like it's more fact than anything else. "i'm bad at relationships, if i'm being honest." sua snorts, cracking a dry smile before she takes another hefty swig. "i get bored."
sua tilts her head towards ria again, blinking slowly at her as she shifts her hair over one shoulder. her cheek nuzzles against the fabric of her bed comfortably. "truth or dare. should i ask my question ahead of time to save you the trouble?" she says, voice teasing and goading as her lips form a smirk.
bexsua
as sua listens, she tilts her head back so it presses against her bed, face turned towards ria as she recalls her secret. and it surprises sua just a little bit. not that it's that crazy of a situation, but it's something new she learned about ria that does have her brow raising just slightly. "okay, okay." she says, nodding her head in approval. "pretty juicy. and now i know." sua's voice turns cheeky, the twist of her smile crooked as she bats her eyelashes at ria. sua sips at her drink, eyeing ria carefully over her bottle. she could dart right into dare, be crazy and wild with it; but part of her wants to drag it out. part of her wants to keep ria waiting, too. after letting out a long hum-- probably too long, an obvious show of stalling -- she bares her teeth at ria in a grin. "truth. c'mon. hit me." sua has some stories, but she's also got a lot of proverbial skeletons trapped in her closet.
cw: mentions of alcohol
ria has never been the best at keeping her own secrets secret. even back in canada where she had close to no friends she’d be telling her brother all her secrets. she doesn’t share her secrets with her brother as much as she used to, he still thinks she’s a baby, whenever she drinks alcohol at their parents' place he’ll tell her she’s too young just to remember she’s not. with her friends though, she enjoys sharing her secrets, can they be called secrets when she doesn’t care too much about them being secret? oh well, she sure does love sharing stuff about herself.
so, whatever question sua hits her with today, ria will probably with ease be able to give an honest answer. sua takes her time responding, and ria manages to take two sips before sua finally lands on ‘truth’. now it’s ria’s turn to hum as she thinks for a question to ask. “do you have a right person, wrong time in your life? someone you could’ve seen yourself with, but it just wasn’t the right time?”.

now, all things considered-- she has heard that through the grapevine. sua's not so tuned into the idol world and how contracts really work as much as she should be; she just didn't think the word around the streets would be true. she heaves out a loud sigh, matching claudine's, head tilting down. sua would get it to some degree if they were an actual group out there-- after debut and consistently working. "yeah, i know." she mumbles. "just...sucks. and seems like a bad business move decision, but whatever." not like sua is a business woman herself; but if she's thinking from a consumer's point of view, it just makes sense, no?
"probably not." sua snorts, rolling her eyes. if there was a flat surface closer to her other than the floor-- the artist would probably be smacking her skull into it. just thinking of the spiral of things she's seen strewn about online made from simple comments or recommendations. "ugh. i just gave myself a migraine thinking about it, though. god damn." she mumbles the last bit to herself, reaching up to pinch the bridge of her nose.
if that's true, sua wouldn't mind that. though claudine makes a good point-- that's not lime's shtick anyway. "lame," she mutters, rolling her neck around when it twinge's from having it downcast for such a long time. as she massages it idly, she considers claudine's question.
sua does think she might hate it. the constricting environment feels a little much, but then again-- it's nice to practice a more private kind of life. even if she has to give up and cutback on things she actually enjoyed doing. art school had always been the dream, but that had to wait until sua could afford her way in. or they suddenly struck an interest in her and took her off the waitlist. she'd told herself that year after year.
"not forever i don't think. i'd want to get back into art, eventually. but...i mean. i don't hate this now." she'll whine and complain to hell and back, but she'll put in the work. "i could be back working full time at the pc bang. or listening to people tell me i'm bad at games and ragebait me into crashing out on live, so..." sua shrugs. "what about you?"
"it's like how youtubers and streamers are forced to shut down their channels, isn't it? we're not allowed to make our own public appearances without approval from our companies now," claudine's half-explaining and half-venting with a sigh. she gets it, it's similar to having an agency that dictates how she'll appear to the public. the only difference is, she's not exactly working for money in lime, she's working towards that for now.
"do you think you'll be able to get your ceo to sign off on that?" claudine questions, more curious than anything. "honestly, sound super fun in theory. like, we should definitely make use of pop culture nowadays don't we? but i have a feeling they'll be too scared whatever series we're cosplaying from would ruin our image one way or another. with the netizens that we have right now, one wrong recommendation of an anime we like will get people heated enough to demand we be kicked out of our group!" another sigh comes out of her, then a shrug. "it's kind of crazy how much power we give to people who don't know us beyond our public appearances."
then again, she digresses. "i did hear of a known cosplayer who recently debuted in a krock girl band though. maybe that could be what's in store for us? but... i think your idea sounds more like something sr media would pull." she shakes her head, forced to dismiss sua's brilliant plan. "do you think you want to do this full-time, by the way? you know, the idol thing."

love & peace. feat. @beseira
when sua signed up for this workshop, she wasn't sure exactly what she expected. modeling tips, naturally-- but to be given time to just...take photos in front of a backdrop? it seems a little far-fetched. she thought they'd be shoved under the bright lights of several cameras and taught how to pose through the masses. maybe that's to come later? sua scratches her head, an unsure hum leaving her. "are you any good at selfies?" she turns her head to address seira, a frown on her face as she thinks. seira is cute, sua thinks she'd take a number of selfies-- but she's not a hundred percent sold on that. "the cherry blossoms are nice." she comments on the backdrop settings. it might look nice against sua's hair color, she supposes. "but it feels weird to spend this time just...taking photos."
seira had about zero idea how to model. how she ever managed to pose for her group’s old concept photos is still a mystery. it’s not that seira doesn’t like how she looks, it’s more she doesn’t know how to pose, unless there’s someone directly telling her how to pose her body, she just looks… awkward. but even though she’d like to avoid modeling, simply due to how bad she is at it, it’s somehow a part of the idol life.
“good at selfies?” seira hums “majority of my selfies don’t turn out well, but here and there i’ll take a good one” which was the reasoning behind why there went months between seira posting on her instagram. “what about you? good at taking selfies?”. taking selfies wasn’t exactly modeling, but at the same time, if you were able to feel comfortable in front of the camera doing selfie-taking, wouldn’t it be easier to model as well?
“the cherry blossoms are indeed nice” she nods “but even if you posed amazingly in front of them, i’m not sure my photo taking skills would do you good” she shrugs “we don’t only need to pose well, we need to be able to take pictures well as well” she sighs.

"that could be something. you get the reap the benefits of acting without having to spend your time with something like shows or movies. commercials seems like the easier choice, no?" sua shrugs. she doesn't know a damn thing about it-- maybe it's more difficult. oh well. not like she has any plans of doing that anytime soon.
the artist is unable to help the pfft that leaves her, her smile widening with a flare of teeth. "it's okay~ you just have a lot of feelings is all." she cooes, playfully and mischievous and she knocks her shoulder into ria.
her smile turns crooked, exhaling out a laugh with her breath as she raises a brow towards the other woman. "you mean you haven't tried to chase at all? what, don't like doing the work?" sua's brow raises challengingly, though her smile still stays curved, almost a smirk in the shape. sua lets out a long hum of thought, turning her gaze away from ria to stare forward. being called special has smirk widening, teeth pulling at her lip.
"maybe." to fall for someone...has sua even done it? sua's been in relationships, she's had hookups, she's flirted to hell and back. she's not too sure ria can do it, but who is she to knock the girl down when she's pledging something like that. "i put up a good chase, so if you do...you better lock in."
bexsua
"hey, i think most media would have some random girl crying in it somewhere. you could be the most known cameo actress. get your flowers for crying better than others? i don't know," sua laughs, amusement bubbling in her voice the more she thinks about it. it sounds ludicrous, honestly. "acting? ah..." sua frowns. "i don't know. never really thought about it...i don't really..." would she have the patience for it? she's faked enough interactions in her life, but how does that come across in a filming matter? "depending on the role, maybe." she shrugs. sua eyes ria from her peripherals. "it takes a lot for me to cry." she responds, shrugging a shoulder. she makes it a habit to not cry in front of people. call her prideful, but that sort of vulnerability she wants to keep to herself. no one else needs to see that. "some people just...feel more." she guesses. sua's pride would have her bite her tongue than shed a tear in front of someone. "might just be a good thing to have. never know when you're going to need it." sua laughs, bright and happy as she shakes her head at ria. she shoots the other girl a playful look, smile turning devilish. "time for you to practice doing some chasing then. i'm sure you could do it if you put your mind to it," sua clicks her tongue, turning her head towards ria. she almost wants to give her the puppy dog eyes, just to see how she reacts, but sua holds herself back. "sure. we can try on wigs some time." sua laughs. "i'll do some research for you."
“maybe i could be in commercials or something… pretending to cry because the food is just ‘that good’” a short laugh escapes her lips. ria doesn’t think she’ll ever do acting, but never say never, perhaps with enough practice she could act, she’s just not sure she’s interested in it enough to practice acting. “it’ll be a maybe for us both then” she shrugs “i wouldn’t mind acting some day, but i also wouldn’t mind never acting”.
“it’s okay, i cry enough for both of us” she shrugs. ria cries more than the average person, she probably cries more than ninety-nine percent of the population, but it’s not exactly sad-tears, so she doesn’t mind it too much, it’s just a part of ria, just a part of who she is. and she gets why people won’t cry in front of others, ria just cries so much she’s gotten used to crying in front of others.
“ah sua!” she pouts “i’m not good at chasing… people just look at my face and fall for me” she pouts as she looks at the other with puppy eyes. “you’re special though… so maybe i’ll chase you” a playful laugh escapes her lips. “who knows… maybe you’ll fall for me some day” she shrugs.

"i wouldn't mind getting plastered in a bar on the weekend somewhere, too. i don't know. can you tell i'm not used to rules and restrictions?" sua snorts, a twisted smile on her face that looks more like a grimace.
there were a lot of restrictions that had been put on her life upon becoming a trainee, but chaerin didn't find it too bothersome. it's not like she lived her life catching people's attentions to begin with. "yeah, exactly. maybe we can just hold our own show at a karaoke room or something," she said with a soft laugh.
she scrunches up her nose at sua's words because while she understands the other trying to reassure her, she thinks it's pretty clear that there are certain risks they can't take. having been on television, she had to be extra careful. though she doubts that next gen was some groundbreaking program, there were bound to be some kpop lovers out there who may recognize her.
"i was always at school until late hours to work on my projects. there's just always something to work on as an art major," she explained with a slight shake of her head to show how exhausting that life was. "and then i'd just head home, get into bed, maybe watch an episode of a new drama and then go to sleep. i didn't do much even before becoming a trainee." now that she looked back at it, chaerin lived quite a boring life, as some may say. "what about you? what's the number one thing you'd like to do if you weren't a trainee right now?"

"a chinchilla? aw," sua smiles at the thought of it. "i wouldn't mind having one either." she says, thinking about it. they're cute, and right up sua's alley. "i hope they do have them here. i'd love to see them, even if they're snoozing."
a contemplative look crosses the artist's face. "hm. we'll pack as many as we can, then." they can decide what to eliminate off the list later on; once they get their main focuses out of the way. sua came here with a plan (kinda. a semblance of one, really). "coming here again would be fun. i'd like that-- and we can choose an animal to do a feeding session while we're looking around?"
"you'll love them." sua reassures, her mouth quirking up wide at the corners with the flare of her teeth. just thinking about them is getting sua more and more excited to get into the thick of the zoo.
sua shakes her head sharply, her expression pinched.

"chinchilla? ooh, nice choice. they're really cute." sua smiles as she recalls, eyes scanning over the brochure rapidly. "they might be here at this exhibit, i'm not sure if they have them, though. or they might have it closed off for now." she taps on a particular part of the map, making a mental note. "we'll definitely check it out though. it's further in, so we can head there first and peek other animals on the way." "pandas too. okay, okay. we'll get to everything you want to today, okay?" sua glances over at seira with a small smile. sua loves a chance to go to the zoo, and see the cute animals and creatures they have to offer. "i know they have certain animals for like...feeding sessions if you pay. maybe we could keep an eye out for that too." "they're sooo cute. i saw them the last time i went to the zoo, but they were in the back of the enclosure." it had been a little disappointing, but you could still see them, even if it wasn't as close as sua would have wanted. "but we have to go through the bird one to get there..." the artist trails off, a grimace crossing her face. "do you care about...birds?"
seira cannot hide how excited she is for today, her eyes bright and wide, and if that doesn’t give it away then the gigantic smile that has been on her face since they arrived surely will give it away. it’s more special being here with sua, she had considered going alone when she found the time, but she’s excited that she’s not alone today. “i know right? they’re so cute, i want one myself once i have the time and money for it” she gives a nod. “not the end of the world if they don’t have them, but if they do, we must see them!”.
“ideally i’d see every animal, but i’m not sure if we have the time for that” she shrugs “maybe we can return some other time if we don’t see them all today?” she looks up at the other with big eyes. “eh! feeding sessions, we must! i’ll pay for us!”.
“excited to see those capybaras, i’ve never seen one in real life” she probably hadn’t seen more than 90% of these animals in real life actually. “birds are a little scary, but i still wanna see them”. “or are you wanting to skip seeing the birds?” she tilts her head a bit to the side.
