First Line Tag Game
Rules: List the first lines of your last 20 stories (if you have less than 20, just list them all!). See if there are any patterns. Choose your favourite opening line. Then tag 10 of your favourite authors!
Thank you for tagging me @killerandhealerqueen 💜 These come from some of my WIPs, and mostly are unedited. So sorry, I'm really not a good writer. :*
1. One dim-lighted night, Lee Dongsik decided to skip sleeping, rather he chose to stare at his pale-white bedroom ceiling for hours, thinking deeply about which type of suicide is painless. (Painless Death, unpublished Beyond Evil fanfic)
2. Juwon hates the man — not hate like he wants him dead, but hate as he wants him to at least regret his very existence. (Like Most People Do, unpublished Beyond Evil fanfic)
3. "It's been a while," Dongsik said, catching himself stealing a gaze at the mad man in his bathroom mirror. (Hello, Darkness, My Old Friend, unpublished Beyond Evil fanfic)
4. Juwon feels a strange maelstrom of wild emotions as he sees Dongsik in a coffee shop for the very first time. (Seeing Happiness for the First Time In A While, unpublished Beyond Evil fanfic)
5. For the past twenty years, Dongsik probably never experienced how it feels to be alive, until such a time when he finally discovered that self-harm is a form of survival. (The fresh Cuts Across His Skin, unpublished Beyond Evil fanfic)
6. Juwon stays awake till it's three o'clock in the morning, watching his mother, Dongsik, and everyone else in his life walk away, choosing happiness without him in it. (Summer Has Just Ended, unpublished Beyond Evil fanfic)
7. Some things are meant to be forgotten. (Into The Mawkish Ripples of The Sea, unpublished Beyond Evil fanfic)
8. Dongsik knows Juwon is not to be trifled with. (When Bitches Fall In Love, unpublished Beyond Evil fanfic)
9. The saddest goodbye is the one that doesn't involve sharp words that could cut — Dongsik's unsaid goodbye has Juwon fall into the abyss of despair. (Unsaid Goodbye, unpublished Beyond Evil fanfic)
10. Damn, Dongsik remembers the fool, how Juwon's intensified emotions turned into so much hunger and desperation — he remembers everything, how they would nonchalantly call each other creeps, and how, after a long night of love-making, both of their cigarettes were lit. (A Night To Remember, unpublished Beyond Evil fanfic)
11. Dongsik answers Juwon's phone call in the middle of the night, and surprisingly hears the weirdest, the most cringe things from Juwon's mouth. (My Sweetheart, Honeybunch, My Dearest Love, unpublished Beyond Evil fanfic)
12. Dongsik spends his sexiest, most intimate privacy in a bathtub filled with red rose petals floating on the water's surface, thinking deeply, perhaps just to have a little fun, about Han Joo Won... and his touch. (Touch, unpublished Beyond Evil fanfic)
13. "Inspector Han, will you be going there alone?" It was a question Dongsik dreaded to get an answer to. (Drowned, unpublished Beyond Evil fanfic)
14. "Unfortunately, there's only one bed available at the moment," said the old woman at the receiving counter who introduced herself as the owner of the small hotel in the village, who, for the silliest reason, was quick to reinforce the whole situation, "but it's fortunate for the two of you. Is this your... first time?" Jiang Yue Lou grinned at the obvious question, and Chen Yu Zhi apologetically blushed. (The Sunset at the Countryside, unpublished Killer and Healer fanfic)
15. Chen Yuzhi usually doesn't want to storm out angrily at anyone, but this time, he has a valuable reason to. (A Toxic Love Affair, unpublished Killer and Healer fanfic)
16. Eiji immediately came back to New York with Shunichi-san right after Max had called them via telephone that Ash had been found dead in N.Y. Public Library. (Your Blond Hair is Still Blond, unpublished Banana Fish fanfic)
17. Eiji Okumura has just received his green card and is now back in Cape Cod to have a permanent living as a photographer. (The Second Stage of Grief, unpublished Banana Fish fanfic)
18. Eiji Okumura stares outside his open dormer window — heart beating so fast that it struggles to find its rhythm, as memories of him and Ash, the good and the bad, the reputable, sweet and sleazy, flash in front of his weary eyes. (So This Is Death (this is how it feels like to die), unpublished Banana Fish fanfic)
19. Eiji Okumura finally goes back to Japan in Izumo, his little hometown, and the first thing his eyes have caught is the beautifully lined cherry trees blossoming on the grounds... for it makes him remember Ash. (Cherry Blossoms, unpublished Banana Fish fanfic)
20. 1995. Summer has just commenced as evidenced by the cluster of lovely, blooming sunflowers that stood behind a tall, quaint ye old Spanish-style mansion. (Pick Me Up When Summer Ends, unpublished original fiction story)
I always start with a name in every first line. Lol.

Yes, han juwon was annoying...
Yes, han juwon was a brat and he painfully struggled with superiority complex.
Yes, han juwon went to manyang endlessly accusing an innocent traumatized man.
Yes, he was like a storm that destroyed lives.
Yes... But... But... Putting all those things aside, juwon actually was just as fucked up as lee dongsik but still he managed to arrive in dongsik's life right at the moment when the real storm struck dongsik, when it was dongsik's lowest downs. In reality, juwon was a savior. He was a blessing in disguise.
He helped dongsik prevent from hitting rock bottom by simply becoming annoying, by acting so dominant and obsessive, by allowing dongsik to challenge his sanity, by not leaving dongsik's shadow — by giving dongsik reasons to live and to love at the same time — by turning into a monster to protect another monster.
Juwon is a hero.
Though he was made to look like a storm, still, dongsik understood from the beginning that he wasn't the storm —
at least, dongsik recognized the fact that juwon was there to protect him from the real storm. [Thanks to this tweet of a beautiful jwds fanart, I'm now a mess.]

BITCH, THIS STRAIGHT-UP CONFESSION IS WHAT I'M LIVING FOR, OKAY???!!!
SIR, HOW COULD YOU MAKE JUWON LOOK SO FLUSTERED??? YOU A SLVT
Han juwon is that kind of person who's so smart and all, but still doesn't know what it means when someone says 'I like you'... or what it means to be liked by dongsik. SO they have to use the internet to search for its implication.
And we all know that it's not just dongsik who's devoted to watching over the other... Juwon went to hell for dongsik.
