Chapter-6

“Secret remain secret”

It was already morning, when we heard the sound of the helicopters. I and Anna were still in the old ship with that alien being, hiding something. He was still looking at the ground with disappointment as I felt at the moment. Me & Anna tried to ask him may time, about everything, but he kept silent so still. He could easily read our minds, maybe that’s what kept him silent.

 Our crew was here to handle everything, And most of the faces were unknown to me, We took that alien being name “Lemith”, to a special glass cage where he can’t use his telepathic and telekinetic powers. They took his custody and take back him inside our spaceship, but we can’t leave for the research center in the daylight, and the hologram was on to hide our ship.

As we were on the surface, Jack, Martha, Martin were there with all the other missing people, and military crew were running around to evacuate the whole area, and with a forensic team I saw one familiar face, he was Jeff, My Alien friend and my good friend at the research center, he came to me and Anna.    

“Hey Anna, Matthew, Are you both alright, (he stopped in front of us) forensics and other teams are here to handle the situation” Jeff said to us.

“Who are these people” Anna asked about the military.

“We cant handle this situation alone, so Jackman called for help..” After a pause. “I know we have a lot to talk about, But for now I need your help to examine everyone, We have to make sure that no one is infected with anything or carrying any virus” Jeff said. we just nodded and follow the instruction. A crew arranged some tents for examinations.

“Jeff, Where is our team? Who are all these people” Anna asked while entering the tent.

“We are research team Anna, We are eligible for such situations, so Jackman called them, I cant do anything about it” Jeff said, I wish he could watched us in previous space trips, How much we are actually capable off. I heard a voice from behind; while Anna went inside the tent to help in doing the arrangement of the forensic equipment.

“Hey, Matthew,” it was jack and Martha’s voice (My paw Friends & family, and my best companion) But still they were secret spies as I seen them today, and I and Anna had lot to ask them. Martin was also there too, Military solders were stopping them to leave the group as they were still standing there to guide those missing people and keep them safe.

I came to them, and told the to leave them, they are with us, but that soldiers told us back that they have been ordered to keep them in one place till the examination. I asked them who is his incharge and he pointed is finger to an officer who was instruction all the soldiers to spared around and don’t let anyone came here and do the fencing. He was almost 50 year old and he was looking so arrogant with his posture and gesture. And I hesitate to ask anything. But still somehow collected my guts and went to him.

“Excuse me sir,” I asked him. And he looked at me.

“What are you doing here, Go with that group, this soldiers will guide you to a safe place” He said. Maybe he thought I was a victim, because I was in formal wear.

“Sir, I am an officer from IGFO, We were working on this case and we found those missing people, And your people are not allowing us to meet my team”  I said, And he stared at me from head to bottom with a question “Is he really work for IGFO.

“hmm. What’s your name, officer?” he asked me, taking off his glasses.

“Matthew” I said.

“And What’s your designation” he asked.

“I am Marital” I said.

“Hello, I am commanding officer Barti Luiws, Sorry to intariput here, but we have to seal this whole area under Military control. You can wait till everyone examine, and if everything remain ok, you can take back your friend and leave,” he said like I am no one and again started instructing all those shoulders. It was meaningless to ask him anything; he had his typical mind set of just following orders.

I came back to them and told them to stay in group and keep calm; we will be back in few minute. I went back to the Anna and Jeff and help them to arrange all that equipment.  And after doing all those arrangements, We started to do our job.

It came to the evening doing all kind of test, Blood test, DNA test, Radiation test, every damn biological and infrared test. And hopefully everything and everyone was fine. And till now we were so tired. Last night we didn’t sleep at all.

There were military arranges for dinner and night sleep. All the refuges went to the tent for sleep. Me, Anna, Jack, Martha, Martin, And Jeff were still sitting there in front of the fire with our dinner plates.

“So, what we are going to do with all those people” Anna asked Jeff. And we all were looking at Jeff to hear something. And Martin was looking at him so weirdly as he was seeing an alien for the first time, After watching a dog and cat with laser guns.

“We can send them back home, who are missing from past few months” Jeff said.

“And what about others, who have been lost for 30 years” I asked.

“Hmm.. We have to erase there memory, and create there new identity’s for society, That’s why military is here, They will take care of it,… We just have to remove all the memories off this incidence” Jeff said. We were not actually accepting this, I didn’t even knew we actually have technology like that.

“Are you guys working for MIB,…. Will you erase my memory too..” Martin asked, and Jack joined him too.

“What’s MIB?” Jeff asked him.

“Its Man In Black” Martin said.

“And What’s Man In Black” Jeff asked him again.

“Jeff, Jeff, lets not get in this MIB stuff, It’s a long story, Matthew will explain to you later” Anna stopped the never ending conversation.

“Is he going to erase our memory too” Jack asked about him and Martha.

“May be, I don’t know” I said to Jack.

“What do you mean, you don’t know? You work with them” Jack Said and Jumped a little toward me.

“How I suppose to know that”  I said.

“Who you’re talking to each other.” Jeff Asked. he and Martin had the same question to ask.

“Jeff, I know you are so curious about humans, But it's not a right time,” Anna said.

“oh.. ok… Ya you are right. We have to erase there memories tomorrow and Tomorrow night we have to leave. It not safe to stay on earth for too long, So tomorrow we will do our job and get back to our places” Jeff explained.

“Will you erase my memory too” Martin asked, putting his dish aside.

“Sorry, but yes, We have too.” Jeff said.

“Hmm… will you erase everything?“ Martin asked again.

“No, only the spaceship, that alien and everything about us that you shouldn't know.” Jeff said.

“Hmm..But I want to keep this; I promise I will not tell anyone… And who are this guys” Martin said looking at Martha and Jack. Jack and Martha tried to tell but all he heard is “bhau bhau” and “miaow miaow”

“sorry martin.. But We can't do that.” Anna said.

“Well ok then… hmmm.. It was nice to work with you Matthew and Anna and whoever these guys are, " Martin said looking at Martha and Jack.

“Why are you saying that” Jeff asked.

“Because, maybe tomorrow I am going to forget them” Martin said.

“No, You will not forget us, you will only forget about the ship and the alien, You will still know us as the detective” Anna explained.

“ohh.. then its ok” Martin and Jack said.

Next morning Jeff told us the process and left for the ship, because he can’t be her infront of everyone after erasing there memories. Then we stated the process vey a Neuro Programing Tramitor. Basically all the setup was inside the tents and we were moving them one by one for the process. And martin was just standing next us, helping us to figure out who were gone missing from which time period. Because we had to segregate the in two bunches, recent one will be going to the police station and old one will be to the military facility for their new identities.  And after finishing almost all of them. Now It was Martin's turn.   

“I am feeling very weird” Martin said, looking at us while sitting on that chair for neuro decentigration.

“Don’t worry, Just close your eyes and think of a good dream” I said and set the helmet on his head.

“Will it be pain-full?” Martin asked us.

“No, You will just fell falling from the sky for few seconds” Anna said. He looked weirdly at us “Just Tell me when you are ready” Anna said to him again.

“Anna Don’t scares him, Martin look at me, Calm your mind, control your breaths and close your eyes, its just matter of few seconds and then everything will be fine”  I  said and adjusted his helmet a little. “ok Its ready” I said again.

“Ok.. umm” Martin said and Anna turned on the switch. Martin went to sleep. Before waking him up, we packed everything, Like every equipment and took them back to the ship, So We could tell him that “we all are here with some military control, because had found an hidden underground bunker full of explosive from the time of World War-II and every missing people and pets unfortunately fell inside that bunker. and he was unconscious as he fell inside.. and till he was unconscious we call the military to handle the situation” this was the instruction given to us by So called Commander ”Barti Luiws”

Along with the refuges we all came out of the forest, Where Martin had parked his car on a road side, on the way he called his senior Office John to give the good news That we have found all those missing people in the forest and asked to sent the rescue force. And after almost half an hour police team came with the John and they brought a bus to take all those people to the police facility. While every buddy was going inside the bus I see that boy “Terry” Jim’s friend, I took a restful breath watching him finally going home and to his friend.

And after the long conversation at the police station with the john in the evening,We leaved Martha and Jack at the waiting area, because we didn’t wanted any more trouble. John asked every damn single detail of the site investigation, somehow we manage him to show the lie as a truth, but from his dough-full eyes it was clear that he is still not believing in all the incidents we are saying. But somehow we escaped the conservation.

 Maritn took his car and drive us back to the Motel, We all came to the room it was already night. Jack and Martha just jumped on the sofa and went to sleep, they we also so tired as we were. Anna went to the bath and I took the phone and called the receptionist and told him to bring dinner to our room and we will leave tomorrow.

We wake up Jake and Martha for dinner. and while doing the dinner Anna was looking a bit lost in her thoughts.

“Is something bothering you.” I asked Anna. And they both were looking at us while enjoying their food.

“I just wanted to know, What he was carrying with the ship” Anna said.

“Hmm..” After a long day work, My mind was thoughtless by now.

“What if the military finds out, We should inform the research center about it.” Anna said.

“Annie, Please Don’t worry about, We will see it tomorrow, but for now we all need rest, We haven’t sleep properly from two days.” I said and Martha agreed with me, Jack was just chewing his food while looking at us.

After fining the dinner, we all were ready to sleep; Jack and Martha were already on their sofa. I came to Anna on bed and grabbed her from behind and gently messaged her shoulders and neck to make her sleep, and after few moments we both were sleeping peacefully, Atlist for now. (and our conversation went on)

Chapter-5

Trapped

We all were looking at him. That man! I don’t know how I saw him in my dreams. But his emotionless face and wide eyes staring at us, making everybody unsettling. And that bluish green light around us from the walls, that was weird and cold.

“Who are you?” I quickly pointed the gun at him and shouted at him. I was scared and angry. Watching me, Jack and Martin also pointed guns at him.

“Matthew stop. Maybe he could be a victim” Anna said holding my hand; She was trying to stop me.

“Anna I saw him when I was unconscious, He is not a human.” I was looking at him. That man was standing still in front of us without a word. And in the second as I looked at Anna and He just disappeared.

“Where did he go?” Martin said and we looked at the front. We all started looking at every reachable space but couldn’t find him. We all had the same thing in mind “Who was he and how did he just disappear in front of us.”

“What happened, Where is he?” Anna asked.

“I don’t know! He just disappeared.” Martin said.

“Is he a ghost?” Jake said.

“Shut up, Jack. And use your nose.” Martha said.

“Did you really see him in your subconscious state?” Anna asked.

“yes..” I said.

“what he was doing, did he say something” Anna asked.

“No, he just kept coming in front of me, Almost 3 to 4 times, maybe, I don’t remember” I said.

“I think I smelled something, Anna” Jack said, pointing toward the front passage.

“What is it?” Anna asked jack.

“I think it’s a human, it’s a human smell” Jack said, and we all followed him.

He kept moving forward while smelling the ground. We all were looking at the metal wall ailanetic texture. We all kept moving until we came to the door chamber. We all were standing in front of it, but no buddy had any idea how to open that thing. First Martin and I tried to push that door upwards as it was appearing. But! Nothing worked. Then Jack and Martha tried to cut that door with his laser gun but it also didn’t work.

We all were thinking what to do next. And Martin and I kept trying but after a while it finally opened on its own. We all looked inside from outside, It was like a chamber and curved ceiling with alianatic design on it and floor circular ring pattern and there was white circle in the center and all the circular pattern was around it. Anna told Jack and Martha to stay outside with Marthin. Because no buddy knows if the door gets closed and we all would be stucking inside.

Anna and I slowly stepped inside and as we thought, the door got closed. I looked back and tried to open it but failed. As I could hear the noise, Martin was also trying to open the door from another side.

“Anna, it's stuck, it's not opening” I said.

“hmm.. I think we should go inside and look for the people and Maybe we would find some other door” Anna said and I nodded ok. I came to the center, on that white circle and looked around.

“Anna, This looks like a control cabin” I said.

“I think this is a door, But it looks different from the previous one” Anna said standing next to the wall. And I came to her.

“But this looks like wall” I said and put my finger on it. and my finger dragged inside like that was made of liquid.

“See I told you, that's how we got inside, it's Matter diplactiasion technology, We don’t have this on earth” Anna said and just pushed me inside that wall and I almost fell on the other side. She came inside behind me. and what we saw was hard to believe there were people in some kind of capsule. There were dozens of people, almost 30 to 35 capsules.

We came to those capsules and  stared looking at them. All the people and a few animals were sleeping inside. But few of the capsules were empty. Maybe those capuse were hibernation capsules for long travel sleeps as we have in our spaceships.

We tried to open them, but as we were trying we heard a voice from behind, “It will not open.” That voice scared both of us. And we both looked behind. Same man was standing there in front of us.

“Who are you, and what are you.” I came in front of him and asked. but he didn’t say anything.

“What are you trying to do with me” I asked.

“Stop it, let me talk to him,” Anna said but I didn’t want him to get close to Anna, I didn’t know who he was, he could be dangerous.

“Who are you ?  and what you were doing in my head” I asked him again.

“I was just trying to help you, Matthew” I heard a voice again but he didn’t move his lips. I looked around me, was there some speaker system inside the ship?

“Its me, matthew” He said again without moving his lips. and I looked at him again.

“How do you know my name” I asked.

“May be he has telepathic powers” Anna said and came beside me. I thought it happens only in movies.

“I was trying to get you conscious, Because you were dying, that's why you saw me in your dreams. ” he said.

“What have you done to them” Anna asked about the people.

“They are just sleeping” he said. and I had one thing in my mind “Is he going to capture us and put us in capuse as he has done to others”.

“if it's necessery” he said again. Damn! He heard my thoughts.

“What do you mean.. if it's necessey” I asked.

“Sorry but I can't let anybody know that I am here, it can scare humes and then.. you know” he said.

“And what are you, you are not a human?”  Anna asked him.

“No, this is just a body from one of those capsules that I am using to roam in your city” He said.

‘Show your true face” Anna said. and he did something by raising his hand and that man fell on the ground he was in front of us. half smoke and half body, he was looking like a reptile and there was smoke like vapor flowing on his body, he was looking like the same creature as we saw on the surface before falling into the ship.

“Where are your other people?” Anna asked as we saw them on the surface.

“It was just an illusion, it was just me” he said.

“What do you want? And why are you here” Anna asked. He didn’t say anything. We waited for a while.

“Say it, or I will surely be going to shoot you” I pointed the gun at him.

“Go ahead” he said. I looked at Anna, I thought he was playing some trick on us. and again looked back at him and took the target and shot, But nothing happened to him. I shot him again but all bullets passed through him and hit the wall.

He raised his hand and did something and I started lavitated in the air like some force was holding me up. Watching me in that condition, Anna took her wrist watch and pushed a button. It was an electromag-shock wave gun. And this time he fell on the ground with a head aeck and screamed and I fell with him too, He was on his knees and still holding his head because of her gun's effect.

“Don’t try to play tricks on us, and tell me Why are you here” Anna said, she was looking very serious now, she was standing on his face pointing that wrist-watch gun on him.

“Please, I was just trying to go home” he said. I stood up and came to them.

“Whats your name and How did you get here on earth, and from how long you have been living here, Tell me everything” anna asked him like a real cop.

“I am Lemith, it has been 30 years, I am trapped here, My ship got crashed on earth, when I was running from the war with something that should not be there in my universe, I was just trying to save my world” he said and looked up at us. After hearing that Anna didn’t ask anything and just told him to get up he was still pointing the gun at him.

“What were you trying to do a few days ago?” Anna asked.

“I was just trying to start the ship” he said. and finally we know how we got that signal.

“Release them” Anna said to him. And he came to them and did some click-click on the side wall panel and all the capsules got open. And one by one all the people and missing pets came to consciousness and came out of the capsule. And that man, that body he was using, also came back to his senses. And all started asking questions like where are we and what is this place, and to my surprise no buddy could see that alien name Lemith, Maybe he was still inside their head, and faded himself from their vision.

“Matthew, take them to Martin and Jack, and tell them to go to the surface. And told Martin not to call the cops until I say,” Anna said.

“Why?” I asked.

“We have to evacuate this whole area, and call the research base for help” Anna said.

“If you are saying is true, We would help you get home. But if you are lying. You are in big trouble” Anna said to him like a real cop.

“Is there anything wrong” I asked Anna, I just wanted to know what's going on.

“He brought something with the ship that should not be here, Matthew…. Now don’t waste time, do as I said.” She said loudly.

I guide all those people to the exit and this time doors open on their own. I came to Martin, Jack & Martha and told them to go to the surface and told Martin not to call any cops for now, because of the emergency evacuation of the whole area. And there were people who had been missing for 30 years. I don’t know how we are going to deal with that, What we are going to answer to the people and police about those missing people from dackeds, where did we find him.

After handing those people to Martin I came back to Anna, that alien was still at gunpoint. Anna took the satellite phone call to the research base and told them everything about the situation.

‘They will arrive in a few hours. Till then we have to keep him here, on the ship” Anna said to me.

“Why can't we take him to the surface” I asked.

“We can't take him in front of the people, it could be dangerous and what if again disappears in the light. He has telepathic abilities, What if he could control them and make them do something wrong” Anna said and it was true, so I didn’t ask further questions. (And our conversation went on).

Chapter 4

The Missing Hour

Waking up from a deep sleep, I felt very unconscious, when I was trying to open my eyes. I didn’t remember what happened last night, I was on my bed. Sunlight was hitting my face; I looked beside me for Anna. She wasn’t there. I stood up and came to the living room. She was in the kitchen, cooking something. I wanted to call her but couldn’t, I was feeling very tired and had a headache. So I just sat on the sofa and with my hand on my face tried to recall what happened yesterday, But couldn’t.

She came with a cup of coffee for me. And set beside. I looked at her for one and took the coffee. I don’t know what happened to her, why she made the breakfast today, usually it’s my job. And after having a sip of coffee I looked at the window. Because there was no vehicle noises it was all silent outside, not even birds were chirping. I came to the door and held the door knob to see outside, the coffee cup was still in my hands.

“Where are you going?”Anna said and held me from behind when I was about to open the door.

“Why is it so silent outside” I turned around and said.

 “What silence? Everything is ok, you are still in sleep Matthew” she asked. And all a sudden all voices started coming. Her face was looking so emotionless, I thought I was not in my senses till now.

“You should go and take a bath” she said and I feel I really need it.

I went to the bathroom and took a cold water bath, and again came to the living room and took the newspaper to read as I usually do. And there I saw a movie poster Named with “Paw Spies” . There was a dog and cat with laser guns. And that caught my eyes. I thought I had seen this dog and cat somewhere. I was looking at them very curiously.

“What happened Matthew?” Anna asked, straightly looking at me, her face was still looking emotionless, but I didn’t think about it much.

“I think I have seen them somewhere” I said. And took the newspaper in my hand and put that aside. I don't know why.

“Stop wasting your time on newspapers, we have to go to the mall. You promised me yesterday you would help me in shopping” She said.

“Why? You don’t want to go for job today “I asked.

“It’s Sunday Matthew” She said with a weird smile and I looked at the calendar and said ok.

I took my scooter from the garage and moved to the market side. She was sitting behind me. I was still trying to recall what happened last night. Along the way I was a police department poster with the title “Safe community, Safe city” and two police men I kept looking at it. I was thinking that I have seen those police men somewhere and Anna noticed it.

“What happened Matthew?” she asked me.

“I think I have seen those policemen somewhere” I said.

“Matthew, this poster is everywhere in the city, you have seen it before, Maybe that’s why you are feeling like this.” She said, I think she is right. I didn’t say anything and focused on driving. 

We entered the parking lot and then we went inside the mall. I was at the center of the mall and looked around for a clothing shop. While watching around between crowds I saw a weird man staring at me. I was looking at him for a few seconds. And Anna called me from behind.

“Matthew. There” Anna said, pointing at a shop on the first floor. And I nodded and again looked at that person but he wasn’t there now.

“Come on let's Go” she said and held my hand and we moved to the escalator.

I was looking at shoes while she was looking at clothes for her. I actually didn’t want to buy any of them because they were really so expensive. I kept looking around and a man came to me and said “Can I help you with something”. He was the same guy staring at me, but in different clothes. I thought I was just hallucinating. I told him I am fine. I just here with my wife for some clothes. And keep looking around.

“Matthew, Come here” Anna called me showing two pairs of clothes in her both hands. ‘Which one?” She asked.

“Both are looking good” I said, both were looking fine but this was very different from her test. I found that weird. She kept looking at them for a while and then picked one of them. And we came to the counter and left the shop.

We came to the ground floor and I saw my favorite thing, an ice cream stall, and asked her to go to the ice cream store. We came to the stall and asked for two chocolate corns and I saw the shopkeeper. He was the same weird man again, I kept staring at him for a while. “Anything else sir” He said with a smile. I looked at the store and again looked at him. But he was looking different now. I felt very weird at the moment.

“What happened Matthew?” Anna asked to eat her ice cream.

“Noting I was just… Noting” I said moving my hand on my head.

“Look there is a Book shop.. After ice cream we will go there” Anna said while we both were having the ice cream. I looked around at the mall’s lobby and shops, I felt very weird because I didn’t notice at first when we entered her, But these people? Everyone was moving with their stuff but no buddy was talking to each other, there was only the sound of footsteps. Maybe I was thinking too much. I kept looking around and saw the same movie poster of “Paw spies” , that dog and cat, they were looking very familiar.

A boy came running and hit to me. and my ice cream fell on the ground and a few drops were on my T-shirt.

“hey.. Kid. Watch it” I said.

“Have you seen Terry?”  That boy asked, looking at me.

“What?” I asked. I didn’t know what is asking and why he was asking. But that boy was looking familiar too.

“Sorry for the ice cream,” A man said coming behind him “how many time I have to told you, Stop running everywhere” He said again and slapped him and took him away, maybe he was his father.

“hey, it's ok, Don’t slap him, He is just a kid” I said from behind as he took him away.  

“Matthew, leave it, it's ok. Let’s go to the book store” Anna said.

Anna was in another lane of book shelves where We both were looking at the books. I actually don’t like books much but she loves to read. While looking at the books a book caught my eyes with the Title “Missing”.. I opened that book and rolled a few pages, and saw the two names Anna and Matthew. “What a coincidence” It was really a weird day from the morning. I turned to the first page there I saw another name, Terry. That kid asked me where is Terry. I felt a headache and a few memories flashed in my mind about some forest side with a factory and town. 

“Matthew I finally got this” Anna said from behind, holding me back.

“What?” I asked and looked at the book in her hand. And it was “Mind under Control” as from the name it was easy to understand that it’s a book of psychology. Then I again looked at the book in my hand “Missing” and thought to buy it for a second but on another second I dropped the idea. And then we moved out.

“Where are you going” Anna asked.

“To the parking, why?” I said.

“But we parked the scooter in the basement parking” Anna said. I remembered I parked it in the parking lot, which was outside and Anna was there too, Then why is she saying it’s in the basement.

“But Anna, I remember it outside. the mall, Not in the basement” I said.

“You are acting weird from the morning, it's in the basement” Anna said. I was still confirmed that the scooter is outside.

“No, Anna I really know it's outside, I parked it” I said.

“Ok let’s go and see” Anna said. We came outside, in the parking lot and to a surprise our scooter was not there.

“See, I told you it’s in the basement” Anna said. I was so confused at this moment. I said nothing and came to the basement three and I was still thinking about the thing happening to me since the morning. First I can’t remember what happened yesterday then those familiar dog and cat on movie poster, that policeman, that kid looking for some "Terry", and that “Missing” book and that man staring at me. I started feeling a headache.

We entered the basement and after walking a few steps. We saw our scooter.

“See, just right there where you have parked.” Anna said.

“Ya. It’s there. But Anna I still remember, I had parked it outside.”

“I think you need rest Matthew, you are not looking ok from the morning” Anna said looking at me, I was still having a headache while having all those things in my mind.

“What last thing you remember about yesterday” I asked while I was moving ahead toward the scooter. But she didn’t reply. I felt silence, really a weird silence. And I turned around, she was not there. I looked around but couldn’t see her anywhere, I felt scared and I was saying her name to call her.

I was running everywhere in the basement to see her but there was no one, and the silence around me, that made me feel so scared till my soul. I stood at a place and turned around and I saw a kid that gave me jumpscare, he just appeared in front of me without a single noise, he was that same kid looking for "Terry" and he again asked the same question “Have you seen Terry”.

“Have you seen any girl around here” I asked him without answering him. He didn’t say anything but pointed at the cabin in the corner.

“Is she in there?” I asked. He just nodded. And I heard her voice saying “Matthew”. I quickly ran to that cabin and opened the door. It was all pure dark and black inside the cabin. I couldn’t see a damn thing that was in there. I heard her voice again, from her voice and the echo made me feel like it’s not a cabin but a tunnel.

I kept following her voice and after walking far inside i looked behind, that kid was standing at the door and looking at me. But I kept waking, trying to follow her voice. As I was going deep I felt suffocation and low breaths, I kept following her voice and at a point I fell in a hole.    

“Matthew, Matthew are you all right” I heard Anna’s voice. I was trying to open my eyes.

“Oh, thank god, He finally came back to his senses” Another voice came to my ears. I finally opened my eyes and saw Anna and I was in her arms.

“Where were you?” I asked Anna.

“What, I was here only; you were unconscious for an hour.” Anna said.

“Hey punk, are you alright?” A voice came to my ear. I looked, she was Martha and beside him was Jack. So I was dreaming. That’s why the cat and dog on the poster were looking so familiar.

“What is this place” I said and looked around. “And what happened to me” I asked and stood up.

“It looks like a spaceship. And we were under the ground, we were chasing those creatures and we came to a place, where we drowned under the ground” Anna said and it made me remember everything that happened yesterday.

“What do you mean drowned under the ground, There's supposed to be a hole on the surface” I said.

“No, we drowned, and you were first and then we all fell on you, and that's how you got unconscious” Anna said.

“How can we drown in a solid surface” Marin said. He was standing on a side.

“It's a phenomenon called "Matters diplaction", we don’t have that technology on Earth, May be some celestial binges have brought this ship to earth a long time ago, and these ships directly went inside the ground, that’s why no one couldn’t find it till now” Anna explained. We all were thinking what to do next. “May be the entire missing people fell in here as we did” Anna said.

“And who were those shadow creatures” I asked. But before Anna could say something. Jack started growing at something in the other direction like something was coming. We all were standing there slowly moving over guns and lights in the same direction.

A man stepped in front of us, He was the same man who was staring at me when I was unconscious and dreaming. (And our conversation went on).
