Slow moving, migratory animals part of the group colloquially named avian dragons. They're part of the lineage that retained flight, but, unlike aves, modern birds, they have less developed back legs and retain claws on their front wings. Many species use Asym as a stop in their migration paths, or use the rocky eastern coasts to house large breeding colonies. They are awkward on the ground and so the majority of large species are sea dwelling.

apologies for the lack of posts. turns out i am horrendous with updates on any account that isn't a live chat. university hurts my bones. although, i have been doing background work on a story (once 10%, now i suppose 20% through!) but i'd like to keep to basic building for now
i originally planned for my posts to be very clean and laid out, but i don't really think it covers my entire creation process, so i'll be posting more sketches and drafts as the days go forward

Stamps are used for identification and verification of houses, companies, and other parties, especially for letters, invitations, documents, and other mail. These icons are very rarely simple, and feature extreme examples of sophistication to avoid malicious forgery. The artisans who create these stamps and make the templates for them use specialized tools to achieve such symmetry. The theme of florals and geometric patterns are common in stamps, as throughout other graphics in Asym.

*EDIT: Turns out I managed to post this with no stirrups drawn on the saddle. The stirrups DO! EXIST! Any other post featuring the saddle will definitely feature them.

JERHAN is a common wet-lands crop used for its long, fibrous stems in weaving, and its young leaves and fruits in cooking. Over the summer the balloon-like fruits grow to about the size of a volley ball, and the stem connecting to the fruit detaches, leaving the fruit to float downstream to disperse the seeds. The stem then detaches from the corm of the plant. The 'eye' of corm where the stem detaches will in a few weeks grow another flower or leaf. Because the fruits are mostly hollow and are not particularly nutritious, they are often stuffed with fish or vegetables and put in a fire. The surplus of the crop can be dried and hollowed, and used as cheap water containers. They are a common product in local wet-land towns.
