one of the most important things, perhaps the most important thing I have learned in my life is that nice people can fuck each other up in monstrous ways. people can be bone deep kind and loving and self reflective and still lash out under pressure. people can be earnestly neighbourly and charitable and hospitable and generous and still find themselves in situations where they become selfish. people can be well meaning and easygoing and gregarious and hold deep seated opinions that turn them into vicious little bullies under the right conditions. nobody is just one thing, and nobody stays one way. every person is a kaleidoscope and they will surprise you. you will surprise yourself. it's not a warning and it's not a judgement and it's not an excuse, and it's certainly not a reason to stop trying or to stop trusting. it is just a fact.

i fr have to make a decision on who i wanna cosplay cus i'm going to chicago and stopping by a fabric warehouse otw home and. i wanna specifically get some fabric for a bg3 cosplay and sophie hatter while there

but i'm SO torn between astarion, isobel, shadowheart, and jaheira. i have a wig i can use for isobel, as well as most of the fabric i would need. shadowheart (camp) i also have most of the necessary materials, I just would need a wig. astarion and jaheira i have absolutely nothing for (except like. vinyl n stuff)

Astarion who was forced through partial ceremorphosis using that free cast fly ability to reach the top shelf of everything for everyone and lord it over their heads so he can feel a little positive about yet another horrific transformation

I think Durge must have a particular smell. Maybe the mineral, chopped meat stink of an abattoir. Maybe the cloying scent of dying roses.

Anyway, Karlach gets her second upgrade and resist! Durge pulls her in for a hug without a second thought. Does their smell tickle something in her memory? Something from the days with her old boss?
