saw ballerina mainly for norman cos i'm a simple girl anyway i went in guessing he'd have barely any screen time and was disappointed to be correct but. i will say. the scenes that we did get? incredible. especially that last scene with him in a hospital bed with his kid????? as someone who always seems to end up writing kid fic??? that one minute scene did more for me than any ai generated fic could ever do

been flooding here a lot recently and causing havoc everywhere so obviously. the idea of them living in alexandria or like just somewhere Safe. somewhere where they're willing to set down roots. try to grow crops. food. maybe find slash trade for some livestock. and it actually getting them somewhere. them all breathing easier cos it feels like maybe things might be okay. theyre not just surviving, they're living. and then the idea of the sky opening up and it just raining. for days. non-stop. them all watching their hard work get washed away. watching the low lying areas start to fill, already shit roads getting water clogged and starting to crumble, some of their trusted and safe routes getting washed away.

my mind constantly goes around in circles trying to figure out the complex character of daryl dixon if u take away the apocalypse of it all but still let him exist within the group. like there's no life or death danger there's no blood shed just to put a roof over their heads and a can of food on the table there's just the world as is was. still spinning and still governed by law. but like. he still endured his shitty childhood but he's also besties with rick. he still goes wherever merle drags him but he's still judith's godfather. he's still hotheaded and quick to anger but he's also invited to every gathering and party and night out and family dinner. he's still antisocial and hates dealing with people but he's still looked up to and respected. he's not goin around killing zombies and fighting for his life but he's still one of the most practical and self sacrificing bitches out there. he's still daryl but he's also had people to turn to and people to trust and people that have his back. anyway! tryin to figure out where he'd be at with his like emotional maturity when he's grown up rough but hasn't had to grow up alone and it's is like. god. he wouldn't fuckin say that but also what WOULD he say. yknow???
