Got an ace at Rutgers today. My 2nd ace ever! It was honestly surreal. I looked at my disc thinking, might be time to retire this Luna since I keep losing it in the woods and it’ll be great if I get it into the basket. Knew I had to keep the disc high and let it float in. Last week I took a week off to go to Maine. It was a blast! My pictures don’t suffice and Maine is such a pretty state. Ticked off New Hampshire and Maine off the states I’ve been to; now up to 30. I know for many traveling during Covid is difficult and scary, but I’m thankful I was able to pull this off with people more than willing to go in search of fun and adventure. I’ve always wanted to see Acadia National Park, not just cause it’s a national park, but also cause Acadia is spelled so closely to my hometown of Arcadia. After visiting the park for 2 days with totally different weather conditions, I can see why Acadia made it to the list. While there, we did one of the hardest hiking trails involving climbing on rails and using our hands on rocks. Many scary moments, but glad to trekked through. Also, so many pretty moments beholding the beauty of creation present. Along the way, got to play my current favorite pastime of disc golf at Maple Hill. The course is beautiful and amazing, taking hold of 2 of my discs. We also got to go white water rafting in which capsizing was scary but loads of fun. And got to visit the town of Portland and visit it’s iconic lighthouse. Team doubles match. Yesterday was honestly one of my luckiest days playing disc golf, lots of tree love, threw in between the tightest gaps, and went -3 without my usually discs. My friend Min (in the Adidas Magenta sweater) is headed off towards the Marines.
