I am a Japanese major. I have been learning Japanese for 8 years. I have taught Japanese as my summer job for 2. I lived in Japan last semester. 3/5 of my classes there were taught in Japanese. I was studying to take Japanese grad school entrance exams.
My parents came to visit me in Japan for Christmas and guess who DID NOT know I spoke Japanese
#i love my parents but im so lost as to how that is possible#they were frantically looking for an english help desk while i was begging them to just let me register their JR passes and get our tickets#japanese#language learning
