2/7 of the AN2025 batch! this was my original puppy longfurby concept. i had some of this spotted fur that was given to me after my mother's friend passed away and had no one to take her craft supplies. it got a good wash before being made into this little guy. it was imperative to me that the materials be used for something that would be loved for a long time. ❤️

poseable ears were a must -- i loved the idea of being able to flop the ears over or have them stick straight up.

i have enough fabric to make another in this size but would have to consider what design elements i could do differently 🙂 making two of the same doesn't appeal to me.

1/7 of the AN2025 batch! This little guy was a pattern test, and the second to find a home this weekend. I really wanted to work with this purple fur because it was amazingly soft, and so I went with a boba tea theme. The bow was made to hide a seam around the middle that came from patterning, but the long pile of the fur mostly took care of that anyways :) I really liked how they came out. This furby had a spine, but it is a small enough one that it will still be nice to cuddle. It also has a 3d printed face plate not taken from an actual furby buddy 🩷

articulated furby faceplate (stl from thingiverse) i had printed at the library (left), vs the one i printed on my a1 (right). ill still use the library one for a personal project but it will need to be sanded down quite a bit before the pieces will fit together. would def recommend for anyone using a publicly accessible printer to do a single-piece buddy faceplate instead of one in multiple pieces if you dont know what the print quality will be like

furby custom artists: how much do you charge?

I've made a handful of customs for myself and my friends, but have had some people interested in commissions. I am not US based, so acquiring base furbys to work with is a bit more difficult, but not impossible. I've been combing the tags to look for other artists' rates but was hoping to get some opinions!

do you guys like non-furby plush restoration?

this is a Manhattan Toy "Petals" unicorn i picked up at a thrift store. i'd been searching for a plush from this company ever since falling in love with the Kodiak Bear years ago -- and this little guy showed up at a thrift store! but as you can see, it's a little worse for wear. so i picked open a few of its seams, unstuffed it, washed and dried it, brushed out its fur, and then restuffed with fresh microfiber stuffing; look at it now!
