Walking through the quiet valley, Shea clenched his hands anxiously. He didn't like being exposed in new areas, especially when he didn't have a weapon on hand. Considering he really felt the need to come here though, he complied with the boat he rode here, leaving behind his spear and knife.
Looking around as he searched for a specific person, he supposed that it was alright to be without a weapon here. There didn't seem to be any dangerous animals and most of the foliage was pretty short, unable to hide many dangers. Still, he would have preferred to at least have his knife, this was one of the rare occasions he was without it.
Finding the oddest building in the valley, one with strange shiny net surrounding it, he approached. It might not be where he could find the person he was looking for, but he might be able to find out where the person could be. Shea narrowed his eyes as he got to the door, swinging it open without notice. That was an okay thing to do, right? It wasn't something that seemed to bother the people he knew back on the islands...
The cloud of papers and smoke surprised the warrior as he looked into the house. His initial surprised was cut short, as the person inside the building suddenly pushed him away. Too shocked to react properly, Shea fell away from the door moments before an explosion sent the other man flying into a bush.
Left wide-eyed, it took Shea a few moments to get up and look for the other person. Cautiously approaching the bush he saw a butt sticking out off, he wondered if the man was okay. He could smell burnt material on him, but that didn't necessarily mean he got burned too.
The head that rose from the bush caused the warrior the blink in realization. It was the man he was looking for, the one who made the strange hall-oh-gram at the spirit festival!
His hand raised instinctively to his side when the man bumped into him, but upon grasping only air, Shea brought the hand up to scratch his temple. Unsure of what to say, he went with something that fit the situation, "You are okay? Smell like burned food..."
Overheating... Shut Down in Progress || @Shea
Tinkering around with his recent experiment, Daryl was mindlessly shuffling through his piles of papers for the correct calculations… He was sure he had put it around here somewhere!
“Where is it? Where is it!?” He grumbled to himself, as the traffic of ideas in his mind seemed to overflow with a hint of frustration. He couldn’t fail again; too many failures stacking on each other. This was sure to leave him and his house in shambles if it went wrong! Aghhhhhh!
Finally! There it was, the solution sheet was hanging loosely between a stack of papers near the door. He rushed towards the pile and stretched his arm outright—
And the door opened. Spectacular. A gust of wind blew all his papers up in a hurricane of paper cuts waiting to happen. He turned immediately, cursing his luck. Daryl’s eyes widened at the sudden swell of smoke coming from his latest invention and turning back to the door, he caught a figure in the door way. No no, in the name of all things good, they were in the direct path of an explosion.
Without a second thought, Daryl abandoned his papers and dashed to the door, shoving the person out. With a crash and a bang his entire house trembled violently and he was blown out the door and into a bush, with the back of his coat and hair singed badly. Ugh, that really did the trick. Now everything was in burned pain, because of that ignorant invader! He realized that his butt was still sticking out of the bush comically.
Branches and sticks poking out of his hair, he scuffled out of the bush, coughing to cover up his weary embarassment…..
…..And straight into the stranger that almost had themselves killed!

A quick look up at the sky told Shea all that he needed to know. With the sun hanging high, he knew that it was time for him to find another meal. That's not to say that the jungle man wasn't already searching for food, in fact it wouldn't be a very big exaggeration to say he was always looking to fill his stomach. Even so, he decided to eat his own meals around the same time that others did, at least for today, simply because he thought it might easier to find food when people weren't roaming around.
Wandering around with his spear though, he was finding a bit harder to hunt. While his mind was focused on finding some animals or fish, the gnawing in his stomach was hindering the search. It would distract him, leaving Shea to miss out on chances to catch skittering critters.
Watching yet another animal dart away after he almost caught it, Shea couldn't contain a frustrated yell. He'd never had this much trouble hunting before! Was this built up hunger really affecting him that much?
Huffing in annoyance, he stalked off in a new direction. There must be water around here somewhere, it'll be much easier to catch fish than it is to hunt animals. If he couldn't find any water, the best the warrior could hope for is to find some plants he could eat.
Preoccupied with his thoughts, Shea didn't register the fact that he was approaching a clearing, let alone one with a small body of water.
Forest Picnic // Violet & Shea
Violet was taking a leisurely walk through a forest, nearly skipping with joy due to the beautiful sight of all the natural greenery. A picnic lunch bounced at her side, along with a gingham blanket. She scanned the area for a place to settle down and relax, squinting her eyes slightly against the sunbeams beating through the leafy canopy.
"Oh! Perfect!" she exclaimed. She’d spotted a wooded glen, lush with flowers and a crystal-clear pond. Violet skipped over to it happily and began to unpack the lunch her sister made for her. She bunched up her skirts before sitting down, to avoid grass-stain.
She hadn’t even took a bite of her fruit sandwich before being disrupted by a loud, barbarian cry in the distance.
"What could that possibly be…?" she said, worry creeping through her.

[Truth]: Do you see yourself with a mate in the future?
Shrugging at the question, Shea wasn't too sure of the answer. "It not Shea think about," he stated simply, figuring that it was as good of an answer as any other.

You seem... very exotic, and wild. Why are you dressed like that?
"Exotic good or bad thing?" Shea asked, his arms crossed. Answering her question though, he said, "Clothes help blend with jungle Make it easier hunt." Taking in the girl's own clothes though, he blinked in confusion, "Why you dress in that? It look like catch on plant easy."

What is your earliest memory?
Crossing his arms and closing his eyes, Shea retold the memory as he knew it, "Remember not know where am or why there. Alone and feel many hurt. I walk for while and think end up sleeping. When wake up, in new place with person Shea not know." Opening his eyes, he clarified, "That when Wada find Shea."

Would you rather be a teacher or a mayor of some town?
Crossing his arms, Shea mused out loud, "Mayor like tribe leader and teacher is what Wada do for Shea..." Pausing, he thought it over in his head, nodding when he came to his decision. "Think would want be teacher."

Would you rather be the opposite gender for a year or have an extra arm for a month?
"Three arm might make hard to hunt, since not something have." Shea began, looking down at his arms and trying to image what a third one would be like. "Month not long enough learn how hunt with three arm and make it good thing, so think it better if be girl," he concluded, after looking up from his hands.

Fridgid Fish and Farms || @Mark
It was no struggle for Shea to hitch a ride over to Verdure Island. Kirk's boat was pretty much the only way the jungle boy could leave Mushroom Island for any reason, and the boat man came by often enough with people who would wander around the island for short periods of time. So he didn't have to wait long for the older man to stop by and let Shea on the boat.
Once he got to the town island though, Shea wasn't really sure where to go. He hadn't really seen many of the residents recently, so maybe he should go visit them. Oh, and he had brought some fire roasted fish with him, maybe he could share it with somebody instead of just eating it all? It was just sitting in his food pouch. But even then, he wouldn't know who to talk to and share with.
Maybe.... maybe he could find the blonde farmer, Mark. It had been a while since Shea had seen him, so maybe he had gotten sick? If that were the case, then he'd probably need food more than the hunter...
Making up his mind, Shea walked away from the pier and into town, heading towards the farm island. Of course, he couldn't be sure that the blonde was on his farm, though it was probably the best place to find him. "Mark! Where are?" he called out, wandering deeper into Ranch Island.

Frowning at the man's words, Shea shook his head and crossed his arms, letting his knife point towards the ground. That wasn't what he meant. Shea was already pretty sure that there was some food store in town, and he'd come to expect towns to have farms at this point. After all, everywhere he's been so far, has had at least one farm, why should he think this one would be different. "That not what mean. Shea mean to ask if can find animal or food in forest or if animal sleep now and no can find." Hearing the man's question and seeing his concern, he blinked in confusion. Had he done something to make this stranger worried? He shook his head again before tilting it curiously, "No think need help. Why ask?"
Winter Wandering || Open
The weather forecast predicted clear skies tonight at the peak of the lunar cycle, it would be an excellent night for camping and stargazing. Cliff was on his way up the mountain when someone quite unseasonably dressed stopped him. His accent threw him off, and he hesitated when light glinting off the strangers blade caught his attention. “I… um. There’s a store in town that has cooking items… and a farm, too. I think.” Cliff’s brow knitted together, concerned about the man strolling into town the way he was. “Do you need any help?”

Winter Wandering || Open
It was cold. Much colder than Mushroom island, at least. Shea didn't understand why it was so cold here, yet still relatively warm back on his island. Maybe it was just something about this place? He didn't know, it's not like he normally traveled, especially during the cold season. It wasn't like he had much of a choice though. Shea wasn't as lucky with his autumn hunting as he usually was, leading to a shortage of food stored up for the winter. And, despite the island weather, most animals had made themselves scarce, so he was having issues finding food apart from some mushrooms. Even with the mushrooms though, he wouldn't have enough food to get through the rest of the season. So, in hopes of finding more food, he hitched a boat ride, getting off in some land he didn't remember the name of.
Wandering around this place though, he wasn't sure if he'd even be able to find food. He had his knife out, just in case he found some animals, but so far, he'd only found some edible plants. Maybe he just wasn't looking in the right places. After all, there was a town nearby, so they might have already gotten all the animals in the area. Or they might know where he could find animals, or just food in general.
Figuring that just asking would be his best bet, since he wasn't sure where to start looking, Shea walked up to the first person he saw and asked, " Hello. Where can find food or animal?"
