Denny tossed a rock into the tide, his eyes following it until the stone disappeared under the waves. Popper fluttered down from his place on the dock, landing on the calm waves. What a carefree little bird, he thought. Rubbing a hand through his hair, Denny lay down on his back, eyes focusing on the gray clouds that covered the sun.
Why the hell was his stomach in a knot?

Aw man, a typhoon!
[Carlos looked up at the sky from on top of his ship, rope in hand. He was getting ready to sail when the sky suddenly darkened and rain poured from the sky. He glanced down at his ship, contemplating whether or not he should leave that day or not. Having planned this fishing trip for seasons Carlos didn't exactly feel like backing out now because of a little storm, but then again only an idiot would underestimate a typhoon's power.]
Well... I fixed my ship up! And I've been through worse storms! It'll be alright. [Carlos continued to prepare things, not minding that his shirt was now hugging his chest tightly. After noticing that, and noticing that the storm probably wasn't going to let up any time soon, he removed his shirt and threw it downstairs.]

Amir wandered throughout the town, with a somewhat bored expression on his face. What was one supposed to do in this town? The mansion seemed lifeless when one was alone in it, and he tended to enjoy the company of others, despite how he came off at first. He smiled slightly as he breathed in the crisp autumn air. It was much fresher in this town than his home country. Amir relished it. He took out a book-- Pride and Prejudice-- and flipped to the page he was currently on as he found a bench to sit on. The book was a fascinating example of English literature. Amir was fond of it.

Open RP | Opened to Multiple
Hands stuffed nonchalantly in his pockets, Neil took a deep breath against the chill that seemed to bite at his nose. Another day, another busy schedule to take care of, sigh. Breakfast whipped up and gone like that, and animals looked over with much care. Seems kind of mundane, doesn't it?
He didn't think it was so bad, just as long as people kept their distance. Didn't trust them, didn't need them. His animals were here for him when people weren't. Sighing, he tucked his chin inwards, pulling up his scarf. The day had just begun but it seemed like time was taking its merry time. Guess it was time to set up his stall right? But people wouldn't get here until an hour or so. He tapped his foot impatiently; ugh, he hated being indecisive.
"Tch. Might as well take the day by storm," he murmured to himself. Grabbing a few chickens from his coop, he attempted to carry them all to the stall in one trip. Fantastic idea. The chickens nervously squirmed at his touch, flustered at the tight grip and overly packed trip, they struggled out of his arms. With a barrage of feathers flying every which way, Neil's stoic face cracked, gasping as they took off straight into a figure walking his way.
'Damn! Life's just not looking my way today, is it?' he thought to himself.
"...Uh... sorry about that.." he apologized quietly, scratching the back of his head. Blinking as the frenzy of feathers cleared out, the vision of a newcomer came into focus. Maybe today wasn't going to be mundane after all.

Denny's last few days hadn't been pleasant by any stretch of the imagination. His early hours filled with boring hours on the boat as taunting images of his parents' death flooded his dreams. The cause was obvious to not only him but everyone around him. C'mon, Denny, don't let it bother you they'd say. Your wasting your time they'd say.
What useless advice.
To be honest, Denny would have been perfectly content just standing there, waist deep in the cool water, forever. Out in the waves that chased away reality but made him question with all his heart; What am I doing?

Open RP~
Yuri wandered around her shop, tweaking every loose thread so that each display outfit was absolutely perfect. She had always figured that, if someone came into her shop and saw below average displays, they would expect below average work. Which, of course, like any tailor, Yuri wanted her customers to expect and get great things.
Minus service. Oftentimes, her customers got what her mother called 'slightly below-average service'. Yuri didn't think her service was bad... After all, she did what a tailor was supposed to do. She made clothes. Her job was not to make small talk, despite how customers might try and make it. Her job was to make comfortable yet fashionable clothes for a small fee.
Yuri's head whipped up from the small piece of loose string she was cutting from a vest as she heard the bell that signified a customer had walked into the store. The girl took a small step forward and toyed with the buttons on her cuffs as she murmured quietly, "Hello... Welcome... Would you like something...?"

Why, Hello there. // Open RP!
Dan didn't like cold weather. In cold weather, he had to wear warmer clothes... and.... It made him feel stifled. He liked showing off his body! Namely his arms. What lady couldn't resist his guns? And now, he stood, in a somewhat stylish pea coat, waiting for the bar to open. It may be cold outside, but no matter the season, there was always alcohol. In fact, maybe, if he was lucky, he could find someone to have a drink with! People often were walking about at this hour!
Lady or Gent, Dan frankly didn't care. At this point, he just wanted human interaction. And some wine.

Dan wandered through town aimlessly. He was broke-- again. He had been betting at the race track in the next town over and had simply... Gotten a bit too confident. He lost all his money and didn't even get to see any pretty faces! It was a shame, really. He supposed now the only thing to so would be to get some money... Any money. Perhaps he could sell his body to attractive women? No, no... Surely that would end up badly. How else could he make quick, easy money?
An idea struck him. He'd simply wait for a beautiful woman to approach him! Then, he would strike. Well, he'd beg. Then again, if a man came by, his Cuban charm would be worthless! He'd work out the logistics later. Putting on his crooked winning smile, he stood nonchalantly, waiting for a 'victim'.

An Adventure to Selphia [Open to Multiple - Ann needs friends!]
Ann had never been on such a long journey in her life! Taking the boat across to Selphia had taken forever, and now that she and her father were checked into the inn, all she wanted to do was stretch her limbs. Apparently her father had some business in this town, but what kind of business, she had no idea. There were rumors about the people having monsters for livestock, which was definitely intriguing to a small town farm-girl like Ann, but she doubted that would be of any interest to her father.
That being said, as soon as she had her things snugly set up in her room, she was up and headed outside. Ann had never been an indoors-y girl, and she was tired of being cooped up. It was time to explore this new town, and maybe she could even meet some new friends, and see some new types of livestock. The thought put a friendly smile on her face as she headed into the town square, lifting a hand in greeting when she came across the first person in her line of sight.
"Hi there!"
