Every time I see this scene, I like to think Callaghan realizes the consequences of his actions and how not only they impacted others, but especially Abigail.

He wasn’t able to get in the back of the ambulance with Abigail because he is now a criminal in the back of a police car. He won’t be able to go visit her in the hospital I bet because he could be considered dangerous. After he did start a fire to steal a boy’s invention that led to a person’s death, pretended to be dead, and created a portal to somewhere with the potential of being unstable.

It would have to be Abigail who goes to see him. I can’t say if she would or not because she was more of a supportive character for Callaghan’s story. I can imagine she would because she loves her father for everything he’s done for her. However I can also see her not going because of her father’s actions. I can see her finding the article about her father and Tadashi perishing in the fire and it bothers her that an innocent life who wanted to save her father was the one to truly die.

Can you imagine how guilty she would feel that her father willingly risked other lives because of an invention that could build possibly anything? I wonder how she would have reacted to finding out who her rescuer was.

Isn’t it interesting that the person who rescued her is the brother of the man who died by her father’s actions?
