Virtual Training is a lightning rod for the cycling lifestyles. We share the natural freedom, joy, fun and the challenges of life on two wheels. My objective is to stand in the middle and offer ideas without influencing your opinions, but, I want your opinions. I hope that my posts offer you the motivation to comment.

An indoor cycling virtual race
This is a great application (APP) for those people like me that like to race without all the fan fair and without failing miserably. I know I’m not fast, however, would to race against people like myself. This app, allows you to do just that and you get to see how you stacked against more conditioned and race tested peers.

Best Spin Bike Reviews
Not all virtual training sessions are made the same. Some people run to their local gym and take an indoor class, at the end tally up their efforts. Bottom line, whether you do it online or in the gym, it’s all the same. While some may have a virtual interface that you either use your home computer or is built into the bike, in the gym, can be linked to other classes across the globe. Hopefully, you’re developing your own opinion and getting out there, or in there for that matter. Get into Cycling!

Your opinion about cycling indoors?
If you’re really into indoor cycling, try this website. Okay, please accept my apology for the recurring theme of cycle boredom. Yeah, spinning and watching TV can eat at you. I don’t make excuses, it has to get done. What is your trick? Do you have one? Or are you a purist, cycling outside? Let me know.

The Best and Worst of Zwift
I can’t remember how many times I’ve had this problem. If you ride outdoors during the winter and have the luxury of having someone clean your rig, then disregard this video. I don’t,… I wish I did. My wife leaves her bike in a mess. I am the one that does the maintenance and normal cleaning. Hun, can you clean this thing after you get off. Okay, she does, but the real dirt is left in the components. Check out the video. If you ride indoors from time to time, you will find experiences that are similar.

NYC’s Top 10 Spin Studios
Yeah, heard correctly, Top 10 Spin Studios. Most of which are filmed and broadcasted across the globe. I often wondered where these sessions happened. This is the epitome of convergence and cycling. Can you imagine cycling with someone in NYC or Dubai and you’re in the middle of saying,… Virginia. Do you like this concept or would you rather a more personal feel to your experience? At lease, you don’t have to hear the guy spinning next to you breathing or smell their BO.

Trainer Road vs. Zwift:
What’s Best for Your Indoor Training? Do you keep riding outdoors in bad weather or resolve to a trainer? There has to be a common balance. I like both but living in the North does not lend itself to being able to ride when the weather shifts to bad. What do you think?

You and your winter fitness routine. Here are a few opinions.
For some cyclists, turbo-training is part and parcel of their winter fitness regime. And for others, it’s part and parcel of their fitness regime throughout the whole year. For me, and many other normal, rational people, it’s something to be avoided at all costs.
While a session on the turbo can give you a really meaningful, focussed workout (it says here) there is no escaping the fact that it is the devil’s own work. Turbo training sucks!

Are You Suffering from Cycling Boredom?
Even if you ride outdoors daily, do you enjoy it? Would you rather be at home doing something else? I feel that way often, like I could be working while training indoors. Okay, so I don’t like endless spinning but it helps to bridge the gaps when I can ride outdoors.
