عن جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ “‏ إِذَا كَانَ جُنْحُ اللَّيْلِ ـ أَوْ أَمْسَيْتُمْ ـ فَكُفُّوا صِبْيَانَكُمْ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ تَنْتَشِرُ حِينَئِذٍ، فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ سَاعَةٌ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَحُلُّوهُمْ، فَأَغْلِقُوا الأَبْوَابَ وَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لاَ يَفْتَحُ بَابًا مُغْلَقًا، وَأَوْكُوا قِرَبَكُمْ وَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ، وَخَمِّرُوا آنِيَتَكُمْ وَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ، وَلَوْ أَنْ تَعْرُضُوا عَلَيْهَا شَيْئًا وَأَطْفِئُوا، مَصَابِيحَكُمْ ‏“‏‏.‏ صحيح البخاري ومسلم

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, ”When night falls (or when it is evening), stop your children from going out, for the devils spread out at that time. But when an hour of the night has passed, release them and close the doors and mention Allah’s Name, for Satan does not open a closed door. Tie the mouth of your waterskin and mention Allah’s Name; cover your containers and utensils and mention Allah’s Name. عن سعد بن أبي وقاص رضي الله عنه قال: كان النبي صلّى الله عليه وسلّم يعلّمنا هؤلاء الكلمات، كما تعلّم الكتابة : “ اللّهم إني أعوذ بك من البخل، وأعوذ بك من الجبن، وأعوذ بك من أن نردّ إلى أرذل العمر، وأعوذ بك من فتنة الدّنيا، وعذاب القبر ” . صحيح البخاري حديث ٦٣٩٠

Narrated Sa`d bin Abi Waqqas: The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to teach us these words as he used to teach us the Book (Qur'an): “O Allah! seek refuge with You from miserliness, and seek refuge with You from cowardice, and seek refuge with You from being brought back to (senile) geriatric old age, and seek refuge with You from the affliction of the world and from the punishment in the Hereafter." Condition of ummah..

'Abdullah ibn Amr related that he heard the Messenger of AllahSAW, say, "When you see that my nation dreads saying to theoppressor, 'Indeed you are an oppressor,' then they have taken their leave (i.e. their existence and non-existence amounts to the same thing)." (Ahmad) And the Messenger of Allah SAW said, "There will be Qadfh (heavy winds with stones flying), Khasf (swallowing of the earth with those on it), and Maskh (transformation of people into animals).

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “When you see my nation afraid to tell the oppressor that he is an oppressor, they have been forsaken.

سیدنا ابن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب تم میری امت کو دیکھو کہ وہ ظالم کو ظالم کہنے سے ڈر رہی ہے تو ان سے رخصت ہو گئی (ضمیر کی زندگی یا دعاؤں کی قبولیت)
